Only joined yesterday so can't really give good or bad review yet , my actual cover does not start till 5pm today ! Seemed good for cover tho when purchased it . Just in case my other half has any problems getting home from going on hol . Didn't want her worrying and the price seemed good when I was looking .

I tried to renew my policy as I think the debit card I normally used had expired and I had a new account number on my new card. For that reason the renew on my policy did not go through. I then managed to take out a new policy on my new card but I think I ended up paying more, like I was a new cutomer would do. Probably my fault as I had a new debit card, but annoying that I ended paying a bit more.

Never had to use Start Rescue. So I can't comment much, other than to say it's good to pay competitively for the assurance it provides, even unused.

Before I paid for the cover it was necessary to phone them to find out if it was the car, the driver or anyone driving the car could call them out on a breakdown. The person I spoke to told me anyone who was insured to drive the car could phone for assistance. I told her I searched their website and could not find any mention of this, I was then told it's in the terms and conditions that anyone that is insured to drive the car is covered. Now wouldn't the obvious place for that to be at the beginning where they want you to pay your money rather than hidden away in the small print. I hope I don't regret buying this cover.

Because I have no smartphone (only a basic mobile) I had problems taking in anything you sent me. I was in a Waitrose carpark, so had to go into the shop and ask their help from a fixed phone. Because I'd called you on a mobile you'd assumed I'd get all your instructions! In the event I did not need the arranged callout, so had to go back into the store to use their phone to cancel. If I was out on the road somewhere, I would have had a problem!

We have been members of Start Rescue for a number of years and foung the fee to be resonable. At present we have not used the facilities therefore could not comment on this.

I've had cover for quite a few years never had to call so can't comment on that side of the service. Cost seems to be on vehicle age rather than reliability

I had a flat tyre on my motorcycle and was very disappointed you could not rescue me .so had to sort out myself AND I HAVE PAID MY MEMBERSHIP VERY POOR.

Poor response time for a female alone. Attendance only after a second call from me. On a second call-out I finally got the vehicle started after two hours wait at 11pm no help arrived. Cancelled call-out. Fault found and fixed two days later at local garage. Hopefully you will do better if I have to call again.

Happy with the cover. Just wish in the documents provided there is information about how much it costs to insure different cars.

I have been with Start rescue for many years, up to now I have not had to call them out. There are many break down organizations now on the market and there prices are alot lower than Start rescue. This should be reflected by the prices that Start rescue offer especially to long standing customers who have never claimed
