i found the purchasing of the cover very easy but it said I would receive an email with a link to activate my account and I haven't received anything yet. I'm worried this means I'm not covered but don't have any account details to chase this up

My daughter - Mrs Penny Myers - WP59 FXD - was left at the roadside for three hours in February this year waiting to be recovered, and also sustained some damage to her car by the recovery agent. (CLAIM NUMBER: CA3003271). I would be very concerned if I were to break down with myself and my husband in the car. We are both very elderly (in our late eighties), and my husband and I need to go for lots of hospital appointments. My husband is almost blind; has had strokes, and has severe Parkinson's. I am not very confident about the service, especially since my daughter is still waiting for this complaint to be resolved, and we are several months along since it happened. Regards Sally Myers

After I took the insurance out, I read the eligibility criteria and my car is more than 10 years old, ergo I am not eligible. It would have been great, if there would have been some warning before taking the policy out. I would have saved my self a lot of time and hassle. Now I have to wait for response for the cancellation email and reimbursement of the money.

I wanted cover for car and caravan but when I read the smallprint, breakdowns and accidents to caravans wasn't covered, nor was punctures to car or caravan tyres.

us seniors citizens like me struggle with computers and i don't understand how to follow downloads etc I and others avoid using the net because of this why can we not have paper documents i know it saves you money but people like us should be given the choice.

Purchased breakdown cover on 3/4/17 paid in full. No email acknowledging cover purchased no reference number nothing yet I get a review email asking how they did. I have requested a call back this morning still nothing. Will now cancel breakdown cover

Overcharged at checkout. No opportunity to see excess credit card charge. Unfair web-site. Also took money and made no refund yet (neatly 2 weeks). Had to hang on for over 13 mins at my expense to fail to speak to customer services. They eventually said that they had a cancellations department..............

Nothing went wrong but I cannot possibly give feedback on a policy that started only 3 hours ago and had not yet been used! What a ridiculous survey!

I've rated this one star because I only signed up to StartRescue yesterday afternoon, and my cover doesn't start until 14th March, almost a month from now. And I kind of resent the way how every company hounds you for a review or feedback before you're even out the door. The service may turn out to be quite good, I don't know, I haven't had chance to try it yet. The only experience I have of customer service from Start Rescue is this ridiculous request to review them, a day after I joined. So on that basis I'm giving them the lowest score possible, one star.

Everything was ok until I could not log into my account. A reset code was sent to me by email to change my password but after several failed attempts due to the fact that the code was not recognised by your records I gave it up as a bad job and asked for my money back. I was told it would be refunded immediately but guess what? Still no refund. Very poor service all round
