My husband advised me to join as I was staying over with friends as he had to work..the next day j called to say my car wouldn't start but was advised my membership didn't start til 12.49..I immediately cancelled & now have a towtruck collecting my car tomoro afternoon so hence I will make sure all my family & friends are made aware of the terrible service I had & your operator was not a bit interested that I was stranded..

Pathetic Service, stay away from this company ! Even after waiting for 2 hours no one arrived. Called multiple times but they were not serious about it and were just buying time. I called them for the first time and the service was a nightmare. Stay away ! ! !

Cheap at first but then added £250 worth of extra charges on top once i called for a recovery. Very deceitful

Rubbish service wouldn't recommend joining a complete rip off and you wait hours for them to attend your vehical in a breakdown

I am disgusted. I had an issue with my car being stuck on the curb, it was deemed not to be an accident so you were happy to leave me without the use of the car. Lucky passersby helped but I should have to rely on the help of strangers when I have paid for a service to get me back on the road!

My renewal as an existing customer was £25 more than just setting up as a new customer . Not happy

I did not go ahead with start rescue purchase it was all on line & at 82 years of age l cannot be doing with all this so l declined offer & went elsewhere where documents are sent in the post & l don’t have to get someone to download these for.me as l have not got a printer myself .Technology is not always the best as proved in this case.

Paid and joined, then took time to go through small. Print and found i wasn't covered for campervan, just 3.5ton van and up to 10 years old, Cancelled it in 15mins.

Good customer service on the phone. But then took the amount owed from my back account 17 times. Instead of paying £94 they took out £1,568! The money was put back but it's not great.

The StartRescue database was referencing old (two months old) data on a private reg number and bumped up the price because it thought I had an old car. When I pointed this out they updated the car details and said the price would reduce accordingly but it did not. I called to address a second time and was told that this issue was now that the price comparison website had the wrong prices. Very disappointed with the inconsistent responses from StartRescue customer service personnel. I feel I have been fleeced for the £8 difference.

start rescue sales very good but logon to account impossible. Spoke to two customer sales and after multiple attempts gave up. 5 stars for sales but no rating for logon .

Utterly disappointed to see that thousands of reviews are given here on this reviews co uk website based on making a payment for the breakdown service. However, I am unable to find a single comment related to an actual breakdown incident and startrescue response on the road? Would you be kind enough to please share these statistics here ( the real and honest feedback when customers are broken down? ). I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you
