“I like the Robell trousers I have bought mainly because they are lightweight and cool for hot countries. I would like to see more natural fibres offered, I find too many I see in my local department store ( Bradbeers) a bit too synthetic. I do like the stretch fabric and elasticity.”

“I do buy most of my trousers from your company but very disappointed with the last pair delivered last week they came up very tight the size I always go for when I telephoned your company a very I deference I received from your operator I would say take it it les e it attitude not one I wound expect from your company so the trousers where returned”

“Unfortunately one pair of trousers was not hemmed and I had to return to get re-hemmed as I had worn them once. Hadn’t noticed until after when I checked there was no stitching. Customer service was quick to reply however it is inconvenient having to post back and wait for repair. Would have preferred a replacement sent to me. I didn’t think I’d need to check if trousers were faulty as not cheap.”

“I purchased the Robell Marie Petite Denim Jeans. I found the petite length the same as regular length in other brands. They were true to size and there was plenty of choice on the website. I did feel these were more jeggings than jeans however and the style is not that flattering if you have any sort of lumps and bumps. I will have to find something long to wear with them.”

“Unfortunately the sizes seem to vary so much now, as I have a variety of robell trousers but the ones I ordered recently were extremely skimpy and I ordered a size larger than normal. When I checked them against my normal size they were distinctly smaller at the waist. I do hope that they are not being cut smaller rather like the items I buy from the supermarket which are smaller and the price is larger.”

“I've used Robell for a number of years now and always been very satisfied. However the last order I tried to place I was told the item was out of stock and I would be informed when it was in. I waited several weeks and heard nothing so tried again to place an order. Again told out of stock. Finally I sent an email and was told it would be 10-14 working days which indeed it was. I would have appreciated an acknowledgement of my order in the first instance and updated on progress.”

“I so love your trousers. But the fit is always unreliable. I’m a size 12, but your navy ones were too big and now the brown ones are very snug! I will keep them and try and loose some weight. But disappointing.”

“Usually very pleased with my purchases but the new trousers just weren’t a good fit. Far too long for me at 5.6” even with a decent heel. Waistband scratchy and quite low slung. I was praying these would fit as I love the look but just not for me sadly.”

“I have several pairs of Robell needlecord trousers, because they are well made and fit nicely. Cotton corduroy is my go-to material for warm winter trousers. I thought i'd complete my colour range and bought some in the shade I was missing. They were out of stock and so I reserved them. I was rung a couple of times for expressing my interest and asked if I'd like to pay to reserve a pair. We are constantly warned not to give financial details over the phone and I was very cautious. I think this is an inaappropriate practice, although in the end I was convinced it was genuine and paid. When I received my trousers I was not impressed for 2 reasons: 1. the price has increased by more than £10 since last yr. 2. The trouser material is of inferior quality to previous, it's thinner with far less substance in the cord and therefore not as warm as in the past. I think it's called shrinkflation. Sadly I will not be buying any more.”

“Unfortunately I have to give Robell only 3 starts. I rang to give my first order as I wanted to get it right. The girl was disinterested, took my card number down wrong and told me it was invalid. After being very specific about what I wanted, the wrong trousers were delivered. It cost me over £6 to send them back and re-order the right ones which again was done over the phone so fingers crossed the right ones arrive. I'm not sure I would order from So Simply again but it was unfortunate I could not get what I wanted in any shops near me. I hope they read their reviews as some are not very good and there is much room for improvement. The 3 stars are based on the first person I spoke to initially, the second lady was much more helpful.”
