“I had to pay 4.50 to return item I think unreasonable in this day and age”

“I bought a pair of jeans and loved them, straight legs. I decided to order another pair, same product number, in lighter colour but unfortunately they were very different and slim fit. So confusing and I also had to return them at my cost. I spoke to a staff member who tried to explain the situation but not acceptable solution. Take care you can’t repeat orders with confidence.”

“Hope you read this Quality of trousers has declined the Rose Highlander fabric is very poor. I don't know who buys your tops and knitwear but for the last 2 years the selection is awful Great big patterns that are tasteless . I now very rarely buy Robell as seems to just be suitable for size 16 and above ladies”

“I understood the trousers were warmer and for Winter. They seem to be Summer trousers which is not what I wanted yet advertised as Winter weight. Nice trousers but wrong for now.”

“I have used this company on several occasions without an issue but sadly my most recent encounter was not a positive one. Having bought a pair of Robell Bella trousers in September, I ordered another pair in October, same style number, same size, different colour. When they arrived, they were at least one size larger than my previous purchase. I immediately phoned customer service to inform them and sent photographs by email showing the discrepancy in size. The customer ssrvice agent, having viewed the photos was dismissive, claiming there was an allowance of 5% difference in size of similar trousers, stating no 2 pairs would be the exact same size, and that Robell were now a more generous fit. She was refusing to send a pre-paid postage label for the return. I posted the trousers back using recorded delivery and 2 days after I knew they'd been received, contacted Robell as I'd heard nothing more, only to get a brief email advising they were looking into my case. The following day I received a voicemail confirming the trousers were in fact mis-sized and a refund of purchase price and postage would be processed. A few days later the refund of purchase was received but no refund of postage. I contacted Robell again only to be told a different department dealt with postage refunds and they would be in touch. 4 days after I made my final email, postage was refunded. Not a good customer experience, I'll be buying Robell from other suppliers from now on.”

“I am rather disappointed with this blouse because I hadn’t realised that its actual colour was fluorescent pink. I was expecting a pale pink. Also the fabric gets very creased quite easily. Unfortunately I was unable to send it back because I had taken all the labels off it, too soon sadly… I regret spending so much money (£62.99) on an item I don’t like that much. I have always been very pleased with the Robell trousers I have bought so far and therefore I am mystified as to why I am so disappointed…”

“I can't tell you how much I liked the trousers I ordered as I refused to pay 29€ in customs duty at the door. I think it's misleading to present a price, charge for P&P to Europe, and not make clear that there will be extra fees later for taxes and duties. Such a shame, as I love Robell trousers.”

“Over the past several years I have bought Robell Bella cropped trousers and knee length shorts totalling 8 pairs trousers and 1 pair shorts. Last year 2 purchases resulted in unravelling threads in both waist band and lower hems - which I repaired. This year ordered 2 pairs shorts to find the fit was very different! One pair was 2 inches wider in the leg, other was 1.5 inches wider - so returned as they were baggy on me and not flattering! Having called SoSimply Robell, I was told Robell’s items are made in different factories across Europe! This is really not good enough. Poor quality stitching, dramatically varying cuts and also waistband elastic being of different stiffnesses making the fit incomfortable for recent purchases. Oh dear Robell - what a shame. Reducing quality and no consistency - awful quality control - you have simply dropped the ball.”

“The Bella full length trousers have changed their cut. They are wider in the thigh and about 1-2 inches wider at the ankle. No longer should they be described as slim fit. I have been buying these trousers for years and am very disappointed that they no longer fit as I like.”

“Very quickly dispatched items however the quality of Bella trousers has drastically reduced. I've bought a number of Bella trousers in the past and never minded paying the premium price for them as the quality was excellent. However my last two purchases have been a huge dissapointment, the fabric is so much thinner.”

“So 2 things, one in your controls the other is not. Because I live in the Republic of Ireland I had to go to the post office and pay vat. A pain. The item I ordered o have already in a different colour, and I love it, but you send me the slimline version of the product, which I didn’t order. I probably won’t be ordering again. Thanks. “Trousers were too long and if it was free to return I may have ordered more to try. I think it’s a shame as if I had found a style I liked I would have bought more colours but this system means it cost me £4 to try trousers on and I can’t afford that .”
