“I was very wary about buying another pair of navy Robell trousers as the previous pair I bought are very disappointing.... white stretchy 'bits' have shown through the leg material.... sincerely hope this doesn't happen to my new ones....I have black, grey, cream and no problem with them.”

“Speedy delivery but ordered petite and too long. I've had to pay to have them taken up. I'm 5'2" and petite normally fit fine”

“I'm sorry to say I don't like my fleece lined Marie trousers - they are too shiny.”

“Love the deep teal colour but disappointed in the fit, Wright and quality of the velvet when compared with the same pair in navy purchased approx 3/4 years ago. Customer services excellent as always.”

“I ordered 2 pairs of trousers, I had a phone conversation ,explaining I needed a much shorter leg length,so ordered petite length , the needle cord trousers were petite, the jeans were of regular length when they arrived. . Diss appointed had to return.”

“Was a little disappointed with these, I buy a lot of Robell trousers and i didn’t feel that the quality of the velvet was as good as I thought it would be. Also I ordered the petite size as a29” leg is normally perfect for me but the Marie velvet trousers were a little long.”

“So Simply was impressive: ordered in the morning and my Robella Bella jeans were delivered the next day. Even Amazon couldn't have done better. So, thanks for that. What I'm not sure of is that the jeans are worth a wopping £89. Comfortable enough they are on the short side between crotch and waist and the finishing is quite untidy. Legs on the other hand are quite long (I'm 5' 7" tall). I don't wear high heels. So, thanks Simply, but Robell, I think you should pull up your socks.”

“These were a good fit but I was hoping for a softer fabric so a little disappointed.”

“No criticism of Simply Robell as their service very good. I have bought Robell from them before. But this time the trousers just didn’t fit and I had to return both. Both size 14 29” but one pair wouldn’t even go over my hips and the other fired ok but was only 28” so too short. At the price they are I expected better.”

“I already have a couple of pairs of Robell Trousers. One of them I wear all the time. It is a textured material and the other is quite a slippery material so although I love them they fall down constantly. I ordered some more recently in the same size as my old ones. They were way too big and also made of the same slippery material with an invisible waistband. They just slide down, so they were returned. I will try again as there must be some more that I would like. I shall search for more textured ones. They always get admired.”

“Love Marie trousers and fit is usually the same for different colours in the same range but not for the black option . I recently bought five pairs of Marie F/l in different colours, all were identical apart from the black pair which were significantly smaller than all the others by at least one size or two. Disappointing as I now have to pay postage to return a faulty item. Ps I have recommended your trousers to many friends but will state black could be a problem”

“Products great. Search on website not at all reliable. It produced Bella 09s when I searched for Bella FL which resulted in my receiving the wrong length trousers and in addition to the annoyance and frustration had the expense of returning. I had telephoned your staff to enquire about what the difference is between the leg detail of Bella and Marie and was told the main difference is that Bella has back pockets. When my Bellas arrived they were much shorter and with cuffs. Your staff said it was my own fault that I didn't work out that 09 meant shorter length when I'd been told that the lengths were identical! In addition, the fundamentally annoying thing about your service is that customers have to pay for return postage. Hardly anywhere does this these days, but you continue to. That's very bad customer service in my book. Quite the opposite of "caring" for customer experience. Don't forget, it is very difficult to be sure of colours from a screen so we need to know we can "try" different colours without having to pay for returning the colours that aren't right. So, all in all and after all the issues with this episode I've been seriously put off using you again. The only purchase of Robell I'll make in future is if I find what I want in a local store. Not sure how likely that is.”

“Had been really looking forward to getting these trousers as I had read all the reviews and was expecting them to be super comfy for my next holiday. Unfortunately I found that they were too short in the body from waist to crotch so sadly I’ve had to return them. I was shocked as the post office charged me £8.95 for sending them back so wonder if you might consider a free returns label and take a deduction from the refund to cover postage as most other retailers are doing at the rate of either £2 or £3. I certainly won’t be buying from you again with returns being so costly!”

“Didn’t fit so I am sending back for a new size”

“I wish you do different length trousers. Also it cost me £8 to return 3 pair of trousers. I won’t chance ordering again. To expensive to send back if wrong.”

“Sent away for knee length Shotts but they weren't for me. Also few loose threads and seams not perfect. Had to pay postage to return!”

“The material is lovely: however I followed reviews suggesting going down a size as the cut is very generous so, being a 10/12 I ordered 10. Couldn’t get them over my hips without a real stretch. So regrettably they have gone back. As legs look quite wide a size 12 would be too big on my thighs.”

“I ordered ladies shorts which weren’t quite right for me. I’d happily have tried cropped trousers till I discovered returns were not free. That was disappointing and of course, I didn’t order the cropped trousers. I’m still looking!”
