“No index (which would require page number). As a new cellphone user, the manual lacks detail instructions (it is written for a person that was already familiar with cellphones).”

“I am 76 years old and truly needed a good tutorial and go-to manual for the operation of the phone itself and not with all the apps and games. For example, I still don't know how to adjust the "brightness" on the phone. There should be an index at the back of the book with specific items one would reference to locate a certain system of the phone like a car manual would have. I almost have to sit down and SEARCH to see if I can find what I am looking for which defeats the purpose of the manual. There are many seniors out there like me who can figure out tech things but just need the simple instructions by which to accomplish it. It's almost like a "Dummy Book for Seniors to Use the Samsung Galaxy S23."”

“I can see it is a good text for a beginner but would they have the tenacity to wade through it. I have doubts about that. For me it wasn't exactly what I was looking for as it is too wordy and the size makes it suitable to somebody sitting at a desk with a bit of space around them. I have had a number of IPhones of different vintages and forget the differences and finer points. I also wanted it to be pocketable which this one is not. To be fair it is what it says it is and covers the subject matter pretty well.”
