“I have never ever known a business like this. Sold an Apple iPhone 13 to them on the 25th November 2021, used their supplied Royal Mail label which as they automatically and strongly point out after the parcel goes 'missing' and it will go missing is only insured for up to £100 compensation.
After weeks and weeks of emails and a few emails back from their Royal Mail Claims 'department' i was promised the £100 would be refunded into my bank account within 10 working days. 12 working days after it had not been received. Was told by James by email that my bank details had been missed (hope they have been disposed off correctly or that is a £250,000 fine) and he would get it sent to me within 48hrs or the latest end of the week by 25th Feb. It is now Tuesday 1st March and after my email to them on Saturday 26th February i am still waiting for an email or a phone call from a manager letting me know where the £100 is. I have reported this company to Action Fraud together with various newspapers etc...Please Do Not Use this company, take all the bad reviews seriously.
Parcels go missing, humans make errors but its how you solve the problem afterwards to help customers which will mean whether you stay in busy for years to come and i'm afraid you don't deserve to at this point.”

“Like other people have experienced, I too have never dealt with such a seemingly disreputable, dishonest company. They appear to be misleading customers about their consumer rights so if they are refusing to refund you keep fighting them as if they don't comply then you can claim back through your payment method whether that's visa, mastercard, paypal, klarna etc. - they all have a disputes process whether chargeback, section 75 etc. The more people who have a legitimate cause to do this, the more the payment providers will charge Smart Cellular or even blacklist them from using their payment services. That should make them improve their customer service and stop ripping off their customers. Keep a note of all your correspondence with them to justify your actions. Read up on the Consumer Rights Act and seek clarification from citizens advice. Whether you're buying or selling a phone, if Smart Cellular try and fob you off with a label only insuring up to £100 keep asking for a label to cover the entire amount or chances are the parcel will go missing in the post. If they refuse then go elsewhere but it's happened too many times just to be chance, read the other review sites like trustpilot to get a bigger picture. Report them to trading standards too. The thing is if they actually traded honestly they'd have a good business there without having to resort to underhand tactics and sharp practice, if only they were honest with their customers.”

🚫❌🛑 DO NOT BUY / USE THIS COMPANY! FUALTY PRODUCTS AND FRAUDULENT ATTEMPTS TO AVOID A REFUND.
I purchased an IPhone XS Max in November 2020, for £279.00. It took over 2 weeks for the phone to arrive and when it did, it was faulty! I spent a couple days searching online in case there was a simple fix, but there was not. I contacted Smart Cellular within 7 days of receipt of the phone and advised of the fault and asked them to return. (3-4 Dec 2021, I notified them of fault and they sent me a pre-paid label on 18/19 December 2021 after repeated ignored email requests! ( the reason for delay is under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have “14 days from date of receipt” to return the item for repair or full refund). So they delayed it, so they wouldn’t have to refund! Also remember their claim on website states all phones have a 100 point inspection, well I don’t know what they inspected on mine, as it was clear the speech amplifier was not working on day I received it.
It has taken me over 2 months to get a refund. They then pretended they were doing me a favour and going out of their way to refund me! 🤣
I had to pay for return postage and they promised to repay it, but they refuse to refund it to my card, they want my (or a friend) Paypal or my bank details to refund the postage, as they refuse to use my debit card details they already have!
Staff are rude, ignorant and don’t care about your consumer rights.
This is by far the worse company, the worst customer service and worst experience I have experienced in a long time.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO BUY FROM, ITS OBVIOUS THEY'RE MAIN GOAL IS TO GET YOUR MONEY AND SELL FAULTY GOODS AND THEN IGNORE YOU!
If you have been sold a faulty phone you have a right under law to either have it repaired or a full refund within 14 days of receipt!
⚠️⚠️ ( not 14 days from date of ordering or them posting it to you, which they may claim, but 14 days when you receive it!!).
DO NOT BACK DOWN AND DEMAND YOUR RIGHTS OR SPEAK TO CITIZENS ADVICE / TRADING STANDARDS!
Funny how it took 2 weeks to send me the phone initially but when they repaired it it was returned within 24 hours, despite my repeated requests for refund they tried to force to accept the phone. I did not accept and I did not even open the packaging and sent it straight back to them.”
“Ordered blue Samsung S10+ on 1/11/2021. Delivered eventually on 17/11/2021 but it was green. Repacked and posted back next day by registered Royal Mail. They received 22/11/2021. After various excuses about delays in Goods Returned or Accounts departments they agreed to refund. Waited til 22/12/2021 and made Chargeback claim on credit card. Today is 31/1/2022 and just got confirmation from credit card company that they are paying refund to me, ie 10 week wait.
This was just a straightforward case of theft as far as I am concerned. Do not do business with these people. They will treat you like dirt. Ordered eventually from Amazon for similar price backed up with Amazon refund guarantee.”

“Ordered a phone on 13th Dec for daughters Xmas. At point of order told 2-3 days delivery. Sent email to say it would be longer, I contacted them to be told it would be here for Xmas....it never arrived. Left a negative review on trustpilot. Was contacted by smart cellular, I said I still wanted phone, was asked if I would change my review on trust pilot from negative to neutral and promised £25 refund. Eventually got phone 3 weeks after order date and it was not unlocked as advertised. Said I would not change my trustpilot review to neutral. Was then told because I had 'not complied' with their request I would not get any refund. Very underhand in my opinion. Would have sent phone back but we needed it and the reviews also mention it takes ages to get a refund.”

“Worse company i have ever dealt with!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID
Purchased a handset (£300) and it arrived faulty, reported to them within the first days, and it took them nearly 1 month to forward a return postage label. Since i requested a refund, they are now saying because it is outside 14 days i am not entitled to a refund. Obviously this is there M.O to ignore you for longer than 14days, so they don't have to refund you.
However in accordance with Consumer Rights Act, it states where a product is within 14 days of receipt then you have a right to refund or if it is outside the 14 day but within a reasonable timeframe, then you are entitled to refund.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.”

“Please DO NOT use this company. I ordered a phone from them 30/11/21 for a Christmas present delivery was stated 2/3 days. After a week i had not received the phone so contacted them and was told over 4 different delivery dates the phone still DID NOT arrive. The week before Christmas i requested a full refund which was agreed. I then received a message saying the phone was out for delivery it arrived AFTER Christmas despite being cancelled, The phone was completely the wrong the colour than the one ordered and had arrived too late. The phone was sent back to them 27/12/21 and i still have NOT received a refund. This company should not be allowed to operate they have caused me nothing but upset and worry as well as having to constantly chase them as what they tell you is just untrue.”

“On 19th December, I ordered an iPhone 11 Pro. On the same day, Smart Celular sent me a text message about an issue with the customs. They informed there was an additional cost because of a custom fee. The company asked me if I wanted to cancel my order and receive a refund, to which I answered yes (on the day after, 20th December). I was told the refund would take 10 business days. Until this day, I've been communicating with the staff or with the chatbot in their website, I'm not sure. However, they haven't been able to adress the issue properly and don't talk about it in an efficient way. They just keep telling me that my refund is going to be processed. On top of that, the staff or chatbot has informed that they escalated the matter to a "Senior Manager", from whom I haven't heard anything ever, not even a single email.
I am very unhappy with this company and I do not recommend it at all. They have taken my 604.99 € and no phone.”
