“Have had nothing but hassle with this company.
1. Bought a red pristine iPhone XR…a black phone arrived.
2. “Pristine” condition meant that the phone required returning to be repaired not once but twice because the repair team are incompetent and cannot complete the job properly.
3. Four months on and I still have not received the phone back.
Absolutely disgraceful service. After 4 months of communication, chasing up where my phone is, I asked for a refund as I had reached the end of my tether. I will be taking this case further as I am said to be “not eligible”. Do not let this company mess you around or offer you an absolute insult of “compensation”, €40 I was offered for my troubles. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.”

“Would have given 0 score. identical experience as all you low scorers out there! Ordered phone expected delivery 3-5WD. 2 weeks on I cancelled order and was promised a refund within 5WD. No refund came but a week later phoned arrived wrong colour too. Fortunately I paid through PayPal and was able to raise a case through the resolution centre. The case was closed in my favour. DO NOT BUY from this company and I only hope PayPal cut all ties with them.”

“Dealing with Smart Cellular cost me £160.
Royal Mail postage they send you doesnt cover full value of your phone if its over £100.
Royal Mail failed to deliver my phone so all i got out of £260 was a cheque for £100.
Ill stick to by previous phone buyers after this :-(”

“I was had! Offered £371 for an absolutely pristine iPhone 11, but when they checked it was told it only qualified as 'good' and was offered £301. I asked what was wrong with the phone and was sent a set of photos showing multiple scratches, which were clearly of another inferior phone, not mine. I immediately asked for my phone to be returned, but knowing they were being dishonest, got scared I wouldn't get it back at all and felt like I had to accept the lower offer or risk getting nothing at all - total pirates - DO NOT use this company! I did actually get paid £311 after 5 panicky emails trying to get a response and offering to meet them in the middle on price, but it was an awful afternoon worrying I was going to lose the full amount and knowing I couldn't trust them as far as I could throw them & that they could basically do what they wanted at that point. I so should have stuck with Music Magpie!”
