“when trying to access tickets to print the process was very difficult , the verification process would not work properly (14 times i ticked the correct boxes but would not go to the download page) the other complaint i have is the amount of adverts in full colour on the ticket page means i had to replace my colour cartridge before i could finish printing even though the actual tickets were only black and white”

“It’s not like ticket master! I spent 60mins trying to get tickets and each time I selected the available tickets and pressed checkout the tickets were gone and I had to keep refreshing the page and doing the verification to make sure I am a human. I genuinely have not experienced such a poor ticket purchasing app site in my life”

“Was disappointed with my experience seeing insert caption at the bungalow on the 16th July 2026. Purchased tickets with no issues, while acknowledging the age limit advertised on skiddle as 16+. Being a 17 year old I obviously saw no issue, however it soon emerged that the venue had set their own age limit of 18+ meaning that myself and a very large group of others were unable to access the venue. Obviously we wouldn’t have came if we were aware of the 18+ age limit, however this was not made clear to anyone during the process of buying tickets, and we were misled into believing the age limit was 16+. After some negotiation with the venue management we were able to gain access but only for the 1 set, and we were all secluded into a corner of the venue, and we were kicked out immediately after the set. I’m glad we were able to see the set but only after some negotiation, leaving some of the other people clearly quite upset and stressed out, I’ve used skiddle before and had good experiences, but this falls far short of what I would expect.”

“Went to buy Rocketman tickets and only tier 2 available at a higher price, bought them then went back on and the tier 1 were available to buy after saying they were unavailable.”

“Ordered too many tickets in error and was refunded straight away, although ended up paying double booking fee as this was not refunded which was a shame as I’ve ended up paying nearly the price of the extra ticket in fees. £20 is a lot on top for tickets thay are only ranging from 14 to 52 in the first place.”

Hi Gemma Thank you for your feedback. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. Booking fees are non-refundable - this is across the board with all booking platforms. However, Skiddle are one of the only platforms offering booking fee credit on a future purchase and further information about this can be found within your automated refund email.
