At very short notice (31st Mar), Chesney Hawkes postponed his 7th April concert to take part in Celeb Big Brother. Tickets have been transferred to new date (22 June) that I cannot make but Skiddle are apparently still "working with the event organisers to make further options available" for those who cannot attend. I have contacted Skiddle to request a full refund but have had no acknowledgement or refund. Shocking customer/fan service by both Skiddle and the "event organisers". Won't be booking tickets through Skiddle again.

Useless app, impossible to register and purchase anything. Why attempt to reinvent the wheel when lots of proven, simple ways to buy tickets have already been established? #epicfail

Bought my tickets...downloaded the app as instructed to access them...not successful...you want me buy 2 more tickets? I don't want to do that...I just want the tickets I've bought and paid for...not very happy

I had a bad experience with Skiddle. The festival promoter had said they were only doing full weekend camping tickets, no day guest tickets. The night before the festival was due to start, "day" guest tickets were advertised and available. I bought tickets for 1 evening and 1 full day from Skiddle. Woke up the next day to find that Skiddle had refunded the tickets (minus booking fee) and cancelled all the barcodes with no explanation. I contacted the promoter four times, using different contact methods, with no response. It was extremely difficult to find Skiddle's email address and impossible to work out how to do live chat with a human. Once I found the email address, Skiddle were responsive, but didn't assist with the problem of helping me to understand why my all tickets had been cancelled - when the event was still going ahead. I think promoters and Skiddle need to be willing to drastically improve their communication with each other for the benefit of customers, and also their attitude towards customers. If customers buy tickets, receive the tickets, think they are going to an event but instead get an automated email saying their tickets have been cancelled, with no explanation, and on top of that, the refund is less than what was paid, this is clearly not going to result in a positive customer experience. Maybe Skiddle doesn't think that customer experience matters because they are a "self-service ticket platform". But they need to understand that things can and do go wrong so they need to have a quick and stress free way to resolve problems when they arise. If it's the promoter who chooses to cancel individual tickets, I think Skiddle should oblige the promoter to provide a reasonable explanation for this and to refund the full payment, including booking fees back to the customer's original method of payment. It's bad enough thinking you are going to an event and them cancelling on you - the very least they could do is to reimburse what you paid. I hope Skiddle will urgently review their systems and look to see what they could do to improve the customer experience so that if promoters cancel tickets, don't communicate effectively and don't provide a full refund, Skiddle can step in to provide customers with the information they need, an apology, and oblige the promoter to offer a full refund. Instead of creating disappointment, frustration, stress and confusion, a few small changes could turn the Skiddle customer experience around. If customers buy through Skiddle but promoters let them down, Skiddle could show they value their customers by stepping in to help and resolve the issues. Rather than the current system where customers can be let down and shortchanged, please have higher expectations and requirements of promoters so the above can't happen or is much less likely to. I hope Skiddle will consider trying to become a company which is genuinely willing to put customers first; thinks "how would I feel if that happened to me?" and makes the effort to make positive changes. You don't have to leave customers feeling disappointed and frustrated, you could easily make some changes such as communicating effectively with promoters in order to give customers a better experience. Mistakes happen, but you could take action to put them right and have a more "human" approach instead of sending automated cancellation emails with no explanation; and if contact centre staff could do simple things like apologising and stepping in to help. If promoters let customers down, Skiddle could also encourage them to try to go some way to make it up to the customer by offering some sort of additional goodwill gesture, eg. a discount code for another event, instead of the promoter just ignoring customer communication. If you are choosing to run a business that involves different groups of people with different interests, eg. promoters with a commercial interest, individual consumers, then it's definitely worth thinking about how good relations can be established and maintained between the different humans involved. Promoters who treat Skiddle customers poorly could contribute to bringing Skiddle's reputation down, so if you encourage promoters to treat customers better, this will surely be a win-win situation for everybody.

Martin Kemp@ The Fubar was oversubscribed beyond the realms of safety. The only person who had any space to appreciate Martin Kemp was Martin Kemp. Greedy profiteers put safety well behind turnover. A horrible night.

Logged on at exactly 10m to find the early bird tickets sold out, second release also sold out then was forced to by 3rd release, £11.20 more expensive than the early bird. There must have only been two tickets between early bird and 2nd release. I wish these ticket companies would stop ripping everyone off!!

Garbage received email at 12.45 on the 7th May 25 telling me I had 20 minutes to buy other tickets if I needed any,family circumstances meant I only saw email at about 1.30, 20 minutes was no where near enough time to buy tickets 🤬

Hi, Please be aware, our waiting list in an automatic system, therefore we do not have the facility to interupt the process. ​ As the link is a one-time link if you click on this multiple times it will not work. This event/ carnival was verybpior from the start. Having £67 for a family ticket to begin with as soon as I turned up I was charged an extra £10 for my kids when there was no mention of this extra charge on either websites, so instant rip off. The marketing people done a fantastic job advertising this fair as it looked nothing like that when we turned up. Having paid for 4 hrs we stayed for 1 hour and then headed back to glasgow very displeased and disappointed never again.

I have just left Lingfield monster trucks what a waste of money! I've been to many Skiddle events and loved them this one was abysmal First thing I was informed there would be an area for disabled there wasn't ! No chairs at all! Then disabled parking a joke aile walk away from the venue NO Disabled facilities at all toilets were a good 10 mins walk from entrance! Luckily a first aider saw how much pain I was In he gave me a chair but I couldn't get to food or toilets I stayed 40 minutes I gave up. No one mentioned motorbikes that was first up and we saw sweet F A as the rider spent the time at the top end. Skiddle or Lingfield need to understand not all disabled people use wheelchairs I don't I know it's in the future so I want to walk when I can! Even with the pain. I am really disappointed at the lack of care shown

Land beyond festival- Brighton May 2025 VIP tickets Got to the event and the vip entrance took a good half hour or so as for a normal entrance was like a minute plus VIP bars compare to what none vip bar had the exact same drinks!!! Plus no food stalls in the Vip section!!! Next time don't waste your money on vip more like RIP

I booked 4 tickets for an event that was advertised for 7th June on Skiddle. On contacting the venue about accessibility I found out the event was not due to happen until later in June. I had purchased ticker protection but both they and Skiddle have said they will not refund. Skiffle suggest passing the tickets on!! To who and for a non existing event! This is such poor customer service. If I hadn’t used this service before I would have said I was a victim of a ticket scam. I am still pursuing a refund so not able to complete all your questions.

Very bad experience 😕. We were a group of six adults and two children. Three of us didn't want to go on rides but at the entrance we weren't given the right information about the difference between the wrist band fare and the entry fee. The lady who served us just offered wrist bands price which we thought was the only way to enter the funfair ground. We ended up paying 96 for all of us. Waste of money for the ones who didn't want to go on rides.

Had my tickets in the basket about to pay, you then make me do a bot test to prove I’m human and within that 30 seconds the tickets I had were gone so I now ended up with the most expensive ones available (which by the way is an absolute disgrace, it’s the same event all tickets should cost the same unless you’re getting anything extra such as VIP)

Due to this, ticket prices are subject to change as agreed upon purchase. I was in the que waiting for my tickets, i got in straight away as they were released i press on buy 1 st release tickets and all were immediately sold out and i had to buy the final realse ticket which was not planned
