The booking process was mixed, acceptable at times and poor at other times. Our initial concierge took the details of our requirements and sent us a quotation. The concierge said she would telephone us in a couple of days as she was off over the weekend but she did not call. Subsequently, we received another quotation for the same cruise from another cruise company which was lower than the quote from Six Star and wished to discuss it with the concierge, at which stage we received conflicting information. Firstly she was on annual leave, then she was ill and nobody knew when she would be back. We asked for a call from a supervisor and that was totally ignored. Because we have booked with Six Star many times I decided to try one more time and asked for one of the concierges who had arranged a previous cruise and she was able to sort out a new quotation which was still higher than the quote from the other company but I decided to stick with the company I knew. My question is how do I contact someone with authority to negotiate? Is there a direct number for such a person? Will someone telephone me to discuss our dissatisfaction with the service we have received? Having gone onto the Oceania website to look at the tours available on the cruise we have selected who do I contact to help sort out the tours that are included with our package?

Further to my previous review how do I make contact with someone in authority if I have any concerns? Can someone contact me so that I can discuss my future reservations with a person in authority?

the b00king experience was good in parts and very frustrating in others. The total absence of real human contact was unnerving. I had had another quotation for the same cruise from a different cruise company which was lower than the Six Star Cruises. When I tried to discuss the 2 quotes with a Concierge at 6 Star their response was less than encouraging. It was only my own feeling of loyalty since we have cruised many times with 6 Star that persuaded me to have one more attempt before I switched my allegiance to a company I did not know despite the fact that their quote was slightly cheaper. Once I managed to make contact with a concierge with whom I had previously had bookings with that I proceeded with the booking. What upset me about the whole booking process was the fact that I was told that I would be contacted but that never happened It subsequently transpired that my initial contact had been ill, but nobody had the good sense to call me back. My attempts to speak to a supervisor were simply ignored. I hope that I will not come to regret my decision to proceed with Six Star Cruises. nce

To call this company SixStarCruise is a complete misnomer. OneStarCruises would be much more appropriate. I was led to believe that their "concierge" service would be first class but I have found that not to be the case. I booked in good faith a cruise followed by three days in the Italian Lakes. The finish point was changed from Venice to a port further down the coast which meant that there was additional travelling involved. I was unhappy with that and asked to change my booking to an alternative. I suggested, after researching the market myself, an alternative cruise which fitted in with our other holiday arrangements which by then had become impossible to change. It took weeks to get information on this option from them and way beyond the 72 hours suggested by one of three different concierges I had to deal with. The delay caused my wife and myself considerable anxiety as we were left in limbo as to our special holiday. I feel that the company lost interest in my booking once I asked to change and it was put firmly on the back burner. In addition out of my deposit of £800, £500 was retained for a future cruise despite the fact that the change to my booking was not initiated by myself but by the cruise company and £418 was retained by "SisStarCruises" for other cancellation costs. I feel that that was far too excessive and profiteering by SisStarCruises - a company with a lot of hype about being first class but in reality delivers one star service.

First time using Six Star Cruises and I found the service excellent. John went out of his way to build us a cruise and stay package with the best flight times for what we wanted - not easy when there is the added complication of living in Northern Ireland. He was very familiar with the cruise lines available for the area we wanted and was able to give us advice on the ships for suite locations and even the style of the cruise lines so that we could pick the one that suits us best. I would highly recommend using Six Star to find the perfect cruise for you.

Very impressed with Emma Gray who has gone above and beyond in sorting out my recent holiday cancellation/rebooking due to Covid. Emma was extremely professional and was even working on my behalf on what should have been her day off to ensure that my booking was transitioned correctly.

I have not used Six Star fir two years or more becauase of Cocid. I wsa pleased that teh new concierge John wsa as charming and helpgul as Emma Taylor ysed to be. Nicely handled enquiry and pleased wth teh booking I have made.

I have been booking cruises with Six Star Cruises since 2012 and would not dream of going to anyone else. Sandy Collier is so well informed, helpful and patient, I feel I know her very well, although we have never acrually met.

Emma Gray dealt with my initial enquiry in an extremely professional way and responded to my request for an adjustment to flights in a very prompt and satisfactory manner. My initial call was to Andrew Whittle who was unavailable but then took over the booking on his return. The whole process was seamless and I would like to thank both of these people for their service.

We booked our cruise with Chris Kelly and he couldn’t have been more helpful. He was very pleasant on the phone and gave us all the information we needed to book the cruise ….and patient with me when I changed to another cruise.

Have booked several cruises through Six Star Cruises and have been lucky enough to deal with Lisa Mallon who exceeds expectations each time. During the pandemic several Booked cruises had to be cancelled and this was dealt with efficiently with the minimum of fuss. We look forward to booking more cruises, health and finance permitting and will return again to 6*.
