Received email about an Azamara cruise, which looked interesting and reasonably priced , we spoke to a cruise consultant , Matthew, who was really helpful and knowledgable. We had a quick think about it, checked the dates suited our plans, phoned back and went through the whole thing with Matthew and booked it that very day. Confirmation was received within a short time. I would recommend using this company on my experience so far, hopefully the cruise itself will prove to be just as enjoyable. well done

The response from sales personnel is always very speedy and nothing is too much trouble. It would be useful if returning clients (who have previously booked high-end cruises, e.g. Seabourn) were offered on-board credits or some gesture to repay loyalty. When asked, there were 'sweeteners' available.

I would like to comment on how very professional I found Matthew Hawkins and to thank him for the way he handled my booking with Oceania for the 30th October 15. I have used Cruise 118 several times, always very helpful. Best wishes Christopher Collins

Debbie South amazingly patient as first Silversea cruise. Informative helpful and super efficient . I am busy senior director at an Auction house and was trying to book during my busiest time do not always available but she persisted and we got it booked in the end. Would not hesitate to book my next cruise with her. Maxine Fox

Over promise and Underdeliver. When we first started with SSC there was a lot of attention and feedback and the initial cruise booking went exceptionally well and on that basis we booked and took several more in (for us) a space of one year. This service evaporated rapidly once we had booked these cruises with poor feedback and service. Various discussions were held and finally we migrated to other cruise booking companies. Very disappointed.

This is the first time we have booked through Six Star Cruises and we have frond them to be extremely efficient and helpful. Sandie Collier was very helpful in assisting us to obtain the right cruise at the right price and worked long and hard to ensure that all our requirements were met and our questions answered. Very happy with the way in which my initial enquiry and subsequent booking was handled by both Erin Madine and Anthony Donovan. They were very polite, efficient and helpful and clearly had a good knowledge of the cruise industry. I would have no hesitation in using this site again in the future.

Booking was very straight forward. The consultant was very knowledgable and offered good advice on flights etc. the price was competitive, and worked out less than direct booking. A positive experience

The personal touch was very good - pleasant staff, rapid response to queries, etc. The only slight negative was the need to correct mistakes/omissions from some of the written material provided. I understand that this was due to inefficient computer system(s). Overall though, pretty good.

We have booked 2 cruises with SixStar Cruises and on each occasion the booking procedure was very quick and simple. Both Cruise Concierges were very knowledgeable and that made the whole process very easy. All follow up emails have been very clear and all information easy to understand.

Having booked with Six Star Cruises before we had no hesitation in booking with them again. Organisations are only as good as the staff they employ and once again we were pleased with the manner and expertise of Ben who dealt with us. We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

The initial enquiry was answered in a timely way - the dialogue between myself and the cruise representative was one where I felt that I had the confidence and trust in taking forward a reservation supported knowing that the back up is there through personal interaction with the Cruise Concierge.

Mark Saxton was excellent. I did not want to have lots of phone calls so we communicated by email to which he replied very promptly and we did not have to speak until it came time to pay. Only black mark was to do with whether we need a visa for Turkey as this would be the first stop. I received an invoice from Joe Morrison which included a link to a commercial visa site. You should not provide links to commercial websites selling visas whose interest is in selling visas and not providing the information that the Turkish website provided which was that we didn't if it was less than 72 hours. There should be consistent information provided by 6* to its customers. This would have cost me an unnecessary £50 had I not queried it.

My husband found a Seabourn cruise that interested us through Six Star Cruises. A company that we had not used before. On 07/04/15 I booked a 7 day cruise in the Adriatic (or so I thought!!) The first mistake was to overcharge us by £60 which we were told would take 3 weeks to refund until my husband suggested to them by email that it would be refunded a lot sooner!. On 17/04/15 we were informed that, in fact, the cabin had not been confirmed with Seabourn and therefore we had no cruise but Six Star had our money. I advised Six Star that we had arranged taxis to and from the airport, boarding for our cat and time off from work and I asked what the company would do about it. We were offered compensation on a future cruise and I left it that we would call them back after I had checked at work as to what other time I could take off that linked in with another cruise. The only cruise I could find that matched was in the Med which was not our 1st choice. I left a message on the mobile of the person I had spoken to, I couldn't get through to Six Star's main number and I also left messages on the MD's mobile all of which were ignored. My husband managed to get hold of someone who quoted us a ridiculous cost which apparently did not include our compensation. When I called back after work, she advised me that I could not use the compensation on that cruise; it had to be a future cruise. I told her that this was a future cruise and I wanted to speak to an MD otherwise they could refund us the total amount. She kept me on hold and came back stating that she had spoken with an MD and it could be used after all!!! Eventually the cruise was confirmed although I again had to contact the company to get the BA booking reference which was not included in the paperwork, so that I could book in on line. The outcome of this is that I would never again use Six Star Cruises who I felt were totally unprofessional throughout and each time we called them spoke to a different person who had not bothered to look back at their records to see the problems we were experiencing. A 1* company at best.

when booking your cruise it is easy to get a response after that its hopeless. Ive just waited 10 min hanging on and still not got an answer from them

I came across Six Star Cruises purely by chance and again by chance, my call was picked up by Cruise Concierge Richard Wishaw and since then have booked around 8 cruises with him. I cannot speak too highly of the service that he has provided. I tend to cruise a couple of times a year and like to plan things well in advance. Richard has the friend and expert who can always sort out all my complex cruise bookings and arrangements, not only with fantastic efficiency and diligent attention to detail but also with friendliness and approachability that makes the whole experience enjoyable and fun. He seems to be always available and when he says he will get back to you on something, he does. HIs customer care is just brilliant for which I am really grateful. He is just so knowledgable on the cruise and travel industry, travel and itineraries and destinations which takes the stress out of travel planning to the point that working up a trip with Richard adds to the value and overall pleasure of the travel experience. Such is my satisfaction that I prefer now only dealing with Richard on my cruise reservations through 6 Star and look forward to planning and booking many more cruises through him in the future.
