“Just returned from an excellent Antarctica cruise with Silversea organised as usual by our concierge Laura Wing who did a great job. Nothing can prepare you for Antarctica - we had no idea that it is so mountainous and so beautiful. We saw thousands of penguins and dozens of whales - two appeared within 20 yards of our Zodiac one day! We landed and hiked three times on the Continent itself. All the arrangements with Silversea were very good - the flights (Air France), transfers and charter flights all operated smoothly and were very well organised. The Mandarin Oriental hotel in Santiago was great. Silversea's particular strength is the depth and knowledge of their expedition team - we had 29 experts on board led by Michael Callaghan who ensured that the expedition avoided possible storms and that we went to all the best places. In addition to their insights when we were out and about on the Zodiacs, the experts gave lectures every day and we learned a lot. Silver Wind was just the right size for the trip - the dining was very good and the staff so friendly and helpful. We learned very quickly that this was an expedition and not a cruise and one that we will never forget.”

“Elizabeth was very helpful, attentive and knowledgable. She offered the best advice for our cruise and found the best deal for us with an improvement on the allocated cabin, ensuring we got the best deal before the prices went up...which they did the following day. Thank you Elizabeth.”

“My husband and I saw a cruise for August and, because we had been delighted with our previous bookings using SixStar Cruises, we rang them again and spoke to Erin. Erin answered all our questions and researched further because we required different flights and hotels. She gave recommendations and advised how we could achieve the best deal. We agreed on the price but asked that another cabin be reserved until we had spoken with friends who might wish to join us. This was not a problem and, once our friends decided to join us, Erin proceeded with each booking with the cabins we had chosen. Erin was very efficient and went through the whole process and itinerary with us before sending all the details via e-mail for our checking. Thanks very much Erin for making things so easy and it was so nice hearing a cheery, helpful and friendly voice on the phone.”
