Generally we have been very happy with the help received from teh staff at Six Star Cruises but our most recent experience has been marred by confusing advertising and lack of clarity of pricing during booking. The adverisment to which we replied stated Book with us and receive: Complimentary Chauffeur Transfers from your home plus 12 bottles of fine wine **. If one took the trouble to scroll to the bottom of the long message the tems and conditions stated "**Complimentary Chauffeur driven transfers and wine are not combinable with any other discounts". During our booking with your Concierge he apparently applied a discount to our booking which was greater than the combined value of this offer so the wine was not given and the transfer was charged at cost. This is how it is shown on the Holiday Cost on the Booking Confirmation. Despite asking we remain unclear how the discount was calculated and applied. We fully understand that our final cost depends on our cabin choice and airline upgrades but still feel uncomfortable with the calculation of the final price due to the lack of clarity. The headline offer is misleading and the final cost descriptioin not fully explained.

I dealt with Erin, who was most helpful. An advertisement in The Express gave a low call number, these numbers cannot be accessed from Ireland. A defined land line or a mobile number would possibly increase your business from this country.

Enquiry to booking was totally pain free! Erin secured good flights with reputable airlines, and with good timings too. There was no pressure to book, all was very calm and civilised, very unlike other agents who really put pressure to "book today to get this price".For our future cruise bookings, Six Star will be our first port of call.

Cruise Concierge, Ryan Creeney was very good. He also was able to take the firm Booking at the end of his shift to accommodate us after we had flight bookings put in place. Above and beyond the call of duty. The review would have been 5 star except for one administrative matter - which incidentally was exactly the same problem when we booked our last cruise with 6 star cruises a couple of years ago! We want to book using Amex which is our reward card AND 6 Star accept Amex - however 6 Star again claimed that their machine for Amex was not functioning and pushed me to use another Credit Card which I really did not want to use. All we can say is that we hope that it is all fixed by the time we come to pay our Balance mid November when (a) we will be doing so by e-mail / Skype from the USA where we will be holidaying at that time and (b) as we will ONLY be prepared to pay the Balance by Amex and NOT another C / Card! It would be helpful if 6 Star could come to realise that "perception is reality" to a customer and the perception is that this is not a good service - NO MATTER WHO'S MACHINE IT IS! To complete the booking of my cruise took two days during which I spoke with four different advisors. I got there in the end but it would have been easier for me if I had continuity. Also, I failed to get an email with costings which I asked for initially, and when I did receive it I found it difficult to understand. Maybe my booking was a bit complicated to sort quickly and I finished up with a reasonable price, but I was not happy with being told at the last moment that an additional charge would be added for "administration". My rating above was for the staff who tried to help me,rather than the overall experience.

Your agent was efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. It was a pleasure to part with money!!! When I tried to contact him again he was elusive but his colleague Ann was extremely helpful.

Paul Goodenough was my agent and he did a superb job on our behalf. He was very timely in his communications and always professional in his ability to answer our questions and make the best arrangements on our behalf.

Emma was very helpful over booking two cruises with Regent Seven Seas, and in particular has taken on board some restaurant bookings that need to be done with Regent, but the dates for which are while I am away. She has also been very understanding and accurate in relation to my paying by credit card, which I have had major issues with Six Star about in the past.

very pleasant, helpful and persuasive concierge, had me agreeing to spend nearly £4K when all i was doing was making a general enquiry. I am looking forward to the cruise and hoping the experience lives up to the hype!

We had a very good booking experience with Kevin Anderson at 6* cruises. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We certainly will be contacting him again for future bookings with 6*.

Cannot fault the booking process.Emma was totally professional,very knowledgable,very polite and friendly,and couldn't have been more helpful in helping us to decide on our New York to Montreal cruise with Oceania.She gave us various alternative cruises and explained,very clearly and informatively,the pros and cons of each one.That was the easy bit ,she then spent a considerable length of time tailoring the trip to our personal taste,including flights ,airport parking with pre flight hotel stay and a 2 night stay in New York,pre cruise and a day room in Montreal before an evening flight home ,Emma is a gem and Six Star Cruising are lucky to have her on their team.The best booking experience ever,and we've had a few!
