“I have had alopecia since I was 14, 46 years now and it doesn't really get easier. I went through my school years with ever thinning hair, subjected to lotions, electrical impulses, and heat lamps, i was accused of over brushing and pulling out my hair, then told I had too much male hormones. Great thing to tell a pubescent girl. When they suggested psychotherapy my Mum pulled the plug and said enough was enough. I went without until I was in my 30s. I used to get my wigs from the NHS via the local hospital. Then appliances moved and I found myself battling to see the hairdresser now solely based in oncology. Having to stand in the waiting room trying to justify why was a nightmare. Then they pulled the rug (excuse the pun), and said they wouldn't accept me anymore despite my GP letter of referral. He was amazingly empathic and sympathetic but said he couldn't do anymore I began to trawl through the Internet becoming ever suspicious of sites with the same photograph, China locations, and designs made for fancy dress use only. Then I happened across Simply Wigs. Bonus points for a British address, even if not local, a shop you could actually visit and styles and brands I knew and trusted from the hairdresser at the hospital. I bit the bullet and looked at lower end styles and found 1 I liked. Not too expensive and able to deduct vat with the NHS discount, bonus!!! Needless to say that was several years ago now and Simply wigs continue to delight on a regular basis. Your customer service is amazing, love the chocolate, your packaging show attention to detail and a delivery is like a second birthday or Christmas with a proper present to open. I look forward to Wendesday email with blogs and news etc as a precursor to Friday when I can't wait to see what the promotion is this week. I would happily recommend you as a company that goes above and beyond. If I could give my 14 year old self any advice it would be to miss out the intervention treatment and go straight to you. You are amazing people who, judging by your reviews give hope and pleasure to many.”

“The quality of the wigs is good, I have always stuck to the same style for the last 2+years, I have always had 2 at a time one on and one to be washed, I have changed the colour this time from brown to vintage pearl and the response I got was... Where did you get your hair coloured. The only reason I gave 4* was because of not having free postage when you are spending a few pounds at the time”

“Over the past ten years I've bought 8 wigs from Simply Wigs. I've always been happy with the service and the quality of the wigs. I've always been impressed by their website which, in my opinion, is the best wig site on the internet. The 360 view, the pixs and explanations of colours, the tips, the links to their Youtube videos on individual wigs. They also have a great telephone advice service. I also love to see photos on the website of other wig wearers wearing their purchases and telling me the names and colours of their wigs. I've found these photos a great help in choosing a wig. So much better than the way it is alleged the wig manufacturers photograph their beautiful models wearing their wigs after the wigs have been overly worked on and product enhanced by their hairdressers. I also enjoy reading other wig wearers stories that are published on the site. The site was a great help in my recently choosing to buy Evan by Jon Renau in Palm Springs Blonde. Am I happy with it? You bet. And I got it in a Simply wigs sale at a fab price. The sale price was £126.70. But after I claimed a VAT discount of £21.12 and then paid only £1.95 for delivery, the grand total was only £107.53 for a beautiful, quality wig with a SmartLace front. It doesn't get much better than that.”
