I needed a replacement oven glass for my Britannia (ILVE) Range cooker (which is now old). I gave UKW all the information it requested i.e model & serial no etc. I also sent photos. UKW identified the required part and recommended it. I paid in advance in May 2023. The part was delivered in October. It is clearly the wrong part i.e. not for this model. I explained this carefully in writing and with photos. UKW then wrote that a) it did not understand b) that there was only one part available c) the available part MUST be the right part. That was all nonsense/untrue. I found an alternative supplier. I am shocked by the firm's instant denials and callous indifference to (1) the facts and (2) the inconvenience caused i.e 5mths delay, aggravation and cost of return carriage.

The reply from our side was: No problem, and I saw your "review", thanks for that, I'll keep that in mind given you can't tell me from a blowout what part you need. So goodness knows who your "other supplier" is that can produce this mythical part that you have failed to identify. As I have said, that is the only panel for that cooker in that colour and the part you seem to want you can't buy as a separate part. You asked for an outer door panel, it was a factory order as I told you and took a time to come, as I told you. What you're holding us accountable for is what would appear to be your failure to identify the item required or, an inability to replace the part. I am more than happy to try to help you as I have done, at length across several emails but, to date, you've failed to answer the simple question of what part it is you need from the diagram I sent. Even though that is a factory part that is not returnable we have chosen to accept it and refund you, assuming it is as supplied so I cannot understand your attitude when I've done all I could to help you.

I could not order from you because I live in Germany and ypu do not deliver to Germany...I would have been responsible for all the expenses and would paid them...

As we explain, we no longer ship to EU countries and in fact, where we can ship to is very limited now, but that is due to factors over which we have zero control. The time and costs to ship to many places make it uneconomical to do and, we are no longer geared to or familiar with the processes involved as we don't do it.

I have contacted them about oven glass replacement before I've ordered and they confirmed they may send to us from 2 to 5 days. The 3rd week is ending now and I still didn't get the item I have purchased. I think they use customers money to keep a cash flow but they sell items they don't have. I'm still waiting for the delivery but I didn't hear any updates yet

This has been a very disappointing experience I ordered a replacement shelf for my fridge freezer which the website said was in stock and even though this was 6 weeks ago still no shelf as apparantly it wasn’t in stock and no refund please don’t use this company

That is as the warehouse has been awaiting your instruction from this message that was sent and, this was resent to you on 02/10/2023 11:50 and no reply has been received from you telling us what you wanted us to do: 18 Sep 2023 15:26:19 Awaiting Information From Customer Customer Not Notified our apologies but this part is a out of stock, with an estimated restock date of 4 to 5 weeks, please can you let us know, by return email if you like the parts kept on order, or wish a refund. many thanks Allister

Perhaps better not to write a "review" then until you get the goods or, email the spares team and ask them about it as they'd be more than happy to help you with that and advise accordingly. Comments like this on here, we can't do anything about.

Unfortunately the very expensive replacement door seal for my Liebherr refrigerator (£134!) does not seal the door, despite having very carefully followed the fitting instructions. I wish I hadn't wasted the money. I understand UK Whitegoods won't take any responsibility for this but buyer beware. I have fitted other makes of fridge and freezer door seals with no problem in the past.

There are a few points we have to make on this one. Number 1 We don't know that is the problem that you had or if a new seal would have ever cured your issue. Number 2 Many spare parts, like this one, are "use once", and after that they are worthless and should be disposed of. They cannot be resold or reused. Nobody wants to get a used one and once you put it on, you can't take it off without causing damage, hence they cannot be returned. Number 3 We can't determine if the part was fitted correctly or not, we have only your word for that. Number 4 We can't pick up the tab for people misdiagnosing the problem, incorrect fitting and so on. Here you have proved not one shred of evidence to suggest that the seal was in any way faulty other than, it didn't solve the problem that you had so you want us to pick up the tab for not curing the issue. That is completely unreasonable and we feel that most people will clearly see this.

Sorry l thought you would be a good option for a spare part and l was hopeful. When l received my part it was damaged, l have emailed your selves with photo evidence and am awaiting an answer so at this time l am not in a position to give a good score, maybe in the following days this will change.

I enquired about a part for a Beko washing machine, viz. an outer frame for the door. Only the complete door assembly was available. I did manage to source the part elsewhere. A considerable saving.

You only asked about a part, that's a special order item and not held in stock. You didn't order one from us. You did ask about it, the query was answered in 12 minutes but so far as we can see, no order was placed by you or for that part. Only one query was recieved, no others and none about it being out of stock. We think you may havbe reviewed the wrong business and would ask that you ammend accordingly.
