“All quotes ought to include ULEZ charges based on postal code submitted. Otherwise the courier will attempt to extract numerous clients as they deliver to multiple clients all within the ULEZ. This was my experience, I challenged the charge a the courier dropped it. However when they arrived I noted the number plate of the van and on checking it was exempted anyway! Real cowboys operate on this site and Shipley do nothing to control it, happy enough to extract fees on every transaction.”

Transport providers are expected to include all applicable charges in their quotes where possible or clearly communicate any additional charges before a booking is agreed. “I could not have been happier with these guys. Cheapest quote . Prompt contact prompt delivery. Clean van. Item arrived on time ( 5 mins into 3 hour slot I had been given)and it was clean and brought I to the house by the driver. Very grateful.”

“It took me a minute recognize that Shiply is a company that gathers bids from many other companies that do the actual car transportation. Shiply does not actually transport cars. They are a brokerge company. This is actually a good thing. I would take me a long time to contact several shippers directly and Shiply took care of this for me. With this process I have several companes to review and choose from. Much less trouble. I would use Shiply again.”

“Quote asked for was half fast, I asked for a break down for the quoted amount of $2,800 and all a get is a message for $1,200 for overseas shipping and $1,000 for pickup, leaving $600 short for a full explanation to justify the $2,800 initially quoted. If in order to get a good comprehensive quote is a challenge, I don't want to imagine what's the rest of the service is like....”
