The mover arrived with no helper, so my husband and I (both in our seventies) had to assist him with the items. The mover was most unprofessional.

Hi, I am sorry to hear about the unprofessional service you received from your chosen transport provider. It doesn't sound like he was very helpful at all, and I would like to sincerely express our apologies to both yourself and your husband. Its not the level of service we expect Transport Providers who use the Shiply platform to provide our customers. Thankfully these are rare occurrences and the majority of Transport Providers on Shiply are courteous and offer a professional service. Company was supposed to uplift sofa yesterday, but cancelled because the van was full. Agreed they'd go today instead. No communication from them, so I assumed all was well until the seller got touch to say they'd failed to arrive again. I have now tried to text and photo new them, but they are not responding. Most annoyed . Have I wasted £13 deposit?

I made arrangements with the deliverer. Took the afternoon off and he did not turn up. He also did not contact me - I had to contact him. Made another arrangement and he did deliver but now it was three days late and I had one wasted afternoon off work.

Communications were poor, they messed the seller about when collecting and didn't deliver to me for some days after that! When they did eventually give me a three hour time slot for the next day it thankfully fell after my working hours and I do not work locally. The driver rang me two hours earlier than the beginning of the specified time slot to tell me they were outside my house!!! Very frustrating.

Person delivering did not receive deposit, had to pay him again. No response via shiply when I raised a dispute of this matter. Will not be using again

My ad was blocked for no reason, I tried contacting customer service and got no response and lost contact with the deliveryman who had offered me a good price.

Originally joined Shiply just to have a carpet 'picked up' and then delivered to my home. I did receive several 'quotes', however, they were all very expensive. Shiply then advised me, that if I 'upped' my profile, (by paying a fee) that I would get more competitive quotes. This did not happen, so I contacted Shiply, but they were no help...(A very expensive mistake on my part).

I have used Shiply twice. On both occasions the transporters turned up in vans not fit to be on the road and both subsequently broke down and the delivery was delayed a long time. It has not been good for client relations and has been very stressful. I think Shiply should have some quality control and take some responsibility. Note to self: "Don't use Shiply ever again".

If it wasn't for the fact that the car was eventually collected and delivered I would have given a much lower rating. Initial dialogue said car would be collected and delivered (30 miles away), within 5 days. I requested it be picked up as soon as possible and was told they would do their best. I was also told the company would call me, the location they were collecting from, and the location they were delivering to the day before so we were all ready. After a week I heard nothing. Called them to be told they were waiting for the pickup truck to be repaired! I requested a confirmation by the end of the day of when they would pick up so I could decide whether to find another company. Nobody called so at 16.45 I called them, again. This time someone said they would find out and get back to me. I did receive a call saying they would collect in two days’ time. After two days I heard nothing so called again, only to be told the car would definitely be moved the following day (Friday). (So much for a call the day before!) The next morning I called the garage the car was at, they had heard nothing so I warned them it could be collected that day. I heard nothing for the rest of the day. Late in the afternoon I contacted the garage the car was to be delivered to. Remarkably, they had heard from the driver who told them he would drop the car off that evening - after the garage had closed! However, it was agreed the driver would leave the car outside, locked and would secure the key, letting the garage know where the was secured. The following day (Saturday) I called the garage. They told me the car was outside, half on the pavement, locked, but no message about the key. Before I had the chance to call the delivery guys, the garage called back and said they'd had a good search around the car and did find the key, behind a wheel. Really secure - not! So, totally unimpressed with the arrangement I made to ship the car 30 miles, supposedly within 5 days and was eventually delivered in 11 days (9 working days). All made worse by the total lack of communication throughout. After the initial call to confirm the booking the was no proactive communication to let me know what was happening, why there was a delay or to give me the option to cancel and find another company. I had to call them to get information. Not impressed!

THE INCORRECT POSTCODE WAS ALREADY ON DELIVERY ADDRESS PAGE AND WOULDNT LET ME ALTER. HAD TO EMAIL COURIER, HOPEFULLY THIS EXPENSIVE ITEM WILL REACH ITS CORRECT DESTINATION

I was disappointed with the way shiply was their hands of the delivery process once you have picked the courier. As t turns out the courier was unable to deliver my part due to the size and weight but it wasn't really his fault as I wasn't sure of the weight.He gave me a full refund. Will shiply give me a refund?

Extortionately expensive shiply commission for a car shipment more than 40% of the actual shipment cost, in future I will deal directly with the transporter.

Had a car transported Halifax to Coldstream great service ,very happy. Next job was to collect a front bumper from Broxbourn to Coldstream,this took about ten days before it was finely collected by Parcil Post and delivered to me by them. J.J. DELIVERY SERVICES were contacted to provide the service,what happened ? Regards ALLAN DAVIE

The night before at 2100 they phone me to tell me it will be 11am the next day before they will arrive to collect the tractor. To late to change anything. We travel down to the place we collect the tractor. They called again about 11.30am. They had gone to the wrong place and was over an hour away. When they did turn up the had a trailer made out of old caravan chassis not good enough for the job. When we got the tractor on the trailer it crushed the back end of the trailer down damage the light board. Wheels hung out. Long story short they could not go any faster that 37 miles an hour. On all roads as the load was to much for the trailer. Swing all over the road thought it was going to end up on its side on the road side. We followed them in my car for as long as we could but we just held the traffic up on all the roads and motor ways. They didn't have the right equipment for the job and very inexperienced. Old transit van and a home maid trailer. And they could not speak very good English so it was very hard to communicate with them. This is not what I expected in any way to happen. As I work in transport my self. I would have liked just to tell them to go away. Not at all professional. I could go on but no point.
