I had a very frustrating experience with Shiply. I used their platform to book a delivery, choosing a provider that was highly rated with lots of positive reviews. I promptly paid the delivery company £45 directly, as instructed. Just a couple of hours later, I received an email from Shiply saying that the delivery company had been suspended for fraud and that they advised I not go ahead with the shipment. No further explanation was given, and although they claimed the company had been locked out of the site, I was still receiving messages from them through Shiply. This is incredibly misleading and concerning. Shiply offered no compensation whatsoever for the money I had already sent, despite the fact that their platform connected me to a now-banned, potentially fraudulent company. I was left out of pocket and had no choice but to re-list the job. To make things worse, the second time around I was offered the option to buy "Shiply Protection" — something that was not available to me during the original booking. It feels like I was pushed into rebooking just so I would pay for their insurance. If that option had been available the first time, I might not have lost the £45. All in all, I’m extremely disappointed. There seems to be little to no accountability for what happens on their platform, and users are left to deal with the fallout. I won’t be using Shiply again.

Hi Katie, Sorry to hear about your experience. That is not the level of service we like to see on the platform. To clarify, Shiply can only refund the deposit paid through our platform; payments made directly to a transport provider aren’t handled by us and would need to be reclaimed from them. If you’d like, we can either relist your job with a new provider or process a refund of your Shiply deposit. We suspend providers when activity breaches our rules to protect customers, and we recommend filing a police report for any suspected fraud. Nach annahme eines Angebot´s dauert es 3 Tage bis die Anzahlung an Shiply angekommen ist (Sepa Lastschriftmandat). Es ist in den 3 Tagen nicht möglich die Spedition zu kontaktieren. Es dauert einfach zu lange. Der Transport musste schnell gehen. Bitte ändern Sie es und bieten Sie Zahlungen mit Paypal an! Ansonsten ist die Webseite gut und einfach gestaltet.

Wasted a whole day waiting for the delivery. No time slot was given, although their arrangement prior to my accepting their quote was that a 3 hour time slot would be given and 30 minutes prior to delivery, but there was neither. No answered telephone calls, until after 2pm and an eventual answered telephone call with the office saying that the company did not have my phone number. The two delivery drivers were exhausted when they eventually arrived at almost 8 o`clock in the evening. A whole working day lost in what is one of the most important weeks of my year. The stress of an American answerphone message is mind boggling and very different from the promises I received prior to accepting their quote. No complaints about the delivery drivers; they were delightful.

Bislang immer ein akzeptables oder sogar günstiges Angebot erhalten. Die Lieferungen wurden alle professionell abgewickelt. Werde ich gerne weiter in Anspruch nehmen.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Abstimmung und Kontakt mit der Zentrale war immer flott und sachlich. Die Sprachbarriere mit dem Fahrer A. konnte mit Smartphone Übersetzer und einer gegenseitigen Freundlichkeit leicht überwunden werden. Seine Handgriffe zum Laden und Verzurren des Fahrzeugs waren professionell und vorsichtig. Auch wenn das Fahrzeug äußerlich nicht ganz neu aussah, hat es die Polizeikontrolle auf der Autobahn ohne Beanstandungen geschafft – auch hier half die Freundlichkeit mit den Polizisten. Meine einzige Änderungsempfehlung, wäre ein Schalter für die Elektrowinde. Also alles in allem tipptopp!
