“Absolutely shocking service. Survey arranged on a property. Surveyor missed out a bathroom and bedroom. Contacted them, as a lot of information was incorrect, think a lot was copied and pasted from previous reports. An extra bedroom was included that didn't exist. With all this happening the valuation price didn't change once. Terrible would not use again and not recommended. 7th reports later, got it correct. Very unprofessional”

“We received excellent service from Douglas Cramb and his trainee. Douglas was a very pleasant professional , took his time while surveying the house and also listened to any input I had to make. I felt it was a fair survey. Would recommend Shepherd’s , everything was completed in a very timely manner.”

“Made several errors which I had to correct-but had I been asked at the time of the survey for clarification, they would not have been made. No explanation as to why windows were a 2 - since they are almost all reasonably new, with double glazing seals intact, no leaks or anything. Referred to a flat roof, which the property doesn't have, mentioned unkempt trees, which are outside the boundary etc etc. Surveyor was pleasant enough though and came on time. I just wish he had asked about some of the things that he got wrong.”

“We had Steven visit to give a survey of a property we were about to list for sale. We had already had two agents give us a listing valuation of 220k, we showed Steven one of them. The survey appeared to go well, Steven said it would be online in 24 to 48 hours. Three days later, after I'd emailed his office only not to receive a response, it eventually appeared with the valuation of just 190k, yes 30k lower than the two estate agents!!! No reason was given in the report, everything was marked 1 apart from two 2's for minor items. Beware of Steven from Shepherd Chartered Surveyors in Aberdeen.”
