“Over an hour late with no advance warning. After having booked the morning off I was on a tight schedule so this had a knock on effect to the rest of the day. Asked a few questions on inconsistencies between 2 HR’s both done by Shepherds and these were ignored. Not likely to use this company again given the choice”

“I recently used Shepherds to complete a home report when selling my house. They were recommended by my solicitor, and I was already aware of their positive reputation with years of expertise and knowledge. I found their service to be professional throughout the process. Communication was great throughout and the report created was thorough and detailed. They provided advice and guidance which i found helpful at this stage. OVerall they exceeded my expectations and made what can be a stressful experience a pleasant one. I wouls strongly recommend they're services to others.”

“It’s an age thing,but I much prefer a personal relationship rather than one conducted solely by e-mail. The vendor survey seemed to have only two options with regards to who could legally complete it.. I.e. the owner of the property , or a third party representative who knew nothing at all about the property. I fulfilled no ether of these categories as the house belonged to my late mother. I phoned the ( Cumbernauld) number as supplied on the e-mail, left a voicemail but received no reply. It was only when contacted by a real human being by phone asking why I hadn’t completed the survey that I felt confident enough to go ahead. This person was most pleasant and helpful - if you have such lovely staff, why not USE them in the good old-fashioned way? Aside from that, I DO believe that the survey/home report was a very accurate and fair assessment of the property and I have absolutely no quibbles in that respect. So, all in all, a job well done , if done somewhat remotely and disconnectedly. Just somewhat lacking the human touch.”
