Had an extremely bad experience with sharps! The sales person that came out to see us named Jonny was so rude and arrogant and made us feel like the wardrobes are too expensive for us to buy! He did not even measure one of the two bedrooms and gave us a quote by mere estimation without showing us any drawings or designs! We were told everything is available online if we wanted to have a look! My husband and I are completely put off and will not be using them!

Very poor value for money, fitted lights are on a movement detector and only come on if you wave your arms around and they don’t automatically go off when you close the doors either. when I complained I was told that’s just how they are (Put up with it) and for the amount that I paid I expected better. Be warned that the wardrobes don’t come with backs so if you don’t paint before ( which they recommend you don’t ) then you have to paint afterwards. Again for the amount paid you would expect to have the backs supplied. Altogether a total rip off and I wish I’d gone elsewhere.

A very bad experience. From our experience the salesman was very quick to chase for money but failed to do their job. We were mid-sold product by the salesman so he could close the sale and when we raised this with the company they refused to accept responsibility. We have paperwork showing what we had requested (signed by both parties) and this wasn’t what was delivered. This is a company that doesn’t own it’s mistakes. If you’re looking for great customer care then I wouldn’t recommended them at all

Do not believe their guarentee. I had bedroom units installed in 2016. Three of the PIR activated LED lights fitted have failed, they remain permantle on. I have phone once and emailed three times and not received any follow up or support. So remember their guarentee come to nothing.

My mother in law wanted new bedroom fittings. I told her not to invite Sharps as I had read previous negative reviews. However she insisted. The designer/sales/ marketing guy turned up 2 days late. He was none of the above. Shabby and smelt of alcohol. He told my mother in law what she needed. Did not listen to one word she said The price for a triple wardrobe 19,100 and that was including a “big discount”. He wasn’t prepared to offer any other discount. Now my mother in law isn’t to be messed with. She told him plainly to never darken her doorstep again. Their practices are disgraceful. It appears the products are substandard as is their service. How on earth are they allowed to continue trading?

AVOID! Awful service, designer came in with limited resources to show the design and style of wardrobes. The person was not helpful at all when it came to design, stood waiting for us to talk and not give a run down of there designs or service. Further to this, he would only show previous customer paper drawings and not proper designs online. I'm shocked there is no bespoke software they have so you can visualise your design, even the most basic companies have this. Further to this, I was quoted £10k for 5 door wardrobe, apparently they gave 50% off from this and I wasn't allowed to negotiate price until I confirmed I would go ahead. Even more ridiculous and ill mannered, I was in full flow conversation speaking to the designer and he ignores me and picked up his ringing phone. He also made comments like "why should we negotiate the price you're not going to order" and had bad attitude. Wanting us to spend £5000 over a 15 minute conversation and was almost offended we asked about the price. To conclude, thoroughly disappointed in this company, my expectations were so high, a bespoke service I was excited but you're better off going to Ikea. Level of service is poor, the wardrobes may have been a good finish but its all about the service and from todays experience this company has none of it.

DO NOT USE SHARPES Have had no end of problems with all our fitted wardrobes from door handles falling off and various other things breaking on them. Very badly made especially considering the price we paid for them.

Unbelievably appalling customers service, rude, unprofessional and would NOT recommend that you use this company to make anything in your homes with your hard earned money. We had three bedroom wardrobes and a window seat installed. The fitter failed to show on one day, so the job was rushed, chips everywhere, doors don’t close and window seat left unfinished and dangerous as top not secured just left placed on top of cupboard doors. Had to pay for another carpenter to come in and complete the job as Sharps were not interested until I went to trading standards. Totally unsatisfactory service from delivery to installation. All they are interested in is getting your money. It’s not a bespoke service in any shape or form. My advice Is so not even think about using this company.

After paying £4500 for a fitted wardrobe you would think the service you get would reflect the price tag. My in laws were at our house while they finished fitting the wardrobe as we couldn’t be in. When I came home excited to see our new wardrobe I see there is no backing on the wardrobe exposing old ripped wallpaper we understood would be covered by the backing otherwise we would of taken it off and repainted before hand. Leaving dust everywhere, if this is how they leave you with the final product save your money and go elsewhere. When I called them they told me it’s £100 per meter for the backing even after acknowledging they were in the wrong. When not once did they ever mention that backing is an optional thing or even an extra cost. Still waiting for them to get back to me after I’ve had to chase them up twice after them not getting back to me when they said they would And also ruined our new carpets which were literally installed 2 weeks ago.

Just had my sales person cancel on me 5 minutes after the appointment was due to be held stating that she couldn’t get the parking machine to work so she would have to reschedule. This is after calling me to see if she could come earlier than booked as she was running early. When I offered to help with the machine she said she couldn’t as she’d need to go to her next appointment. This was at 5 minutes past my actual appointment time. An absolutely pathetic level of customer service.

The salesman arrived looking shabby so not a good start. We showed him the cupboard we really wanted some clever ideas for and he told us it was too small for them. Hmm so much for the bright ideas. He then tried to name drop. Mistake. After years of running a guesthouse and hosting the odd Lords and diplomats, we are difficult to impress. He then measured up the bedroom and declared it was too small for Sharps. I said well what about the houses that are being built with smaller rooms and he ignored that. He left blustering he was the top salesman in the area. Thank goodness we haven't had the misfortune of meeting the worst. Sorry Sharps but an utterly disappointing and dismal experience. If I could give minus 10 I would. Rubbish.

The whole process ended with a complete lacking integration. The waste disposal instruction in the contract from the beginning was assumed by the customer services as a courtesy! That implies that I should feel fortunate that this is taken care regardless of the timing. WASTE IS LEFT internally for another week. A complete irresponsibility and incompetence of understanding how the installation and waste disposal should be arranged. Not a good experience at all to recommend.

Paid over £3000 for fitted wardrobes. Expensive but was happy to pay for quality. Left the installer to it and was shocked afterwards at the poor quality / untidiness of the work done. Pictures attached. Chased sharps to resolve the issues and will be seeking compensation. Not a happy customer. Would not recommend

I have been happy with the process until dealing with the office I ha e explained on numerous occasion that I work in Manchester but the fitting is at my mothers home in London and the way I work please do not to phone me just email me I arranged with the office to come and fit, agreed the date etc due to the office not being able to contact me by phone and letter there cancelled the fitter I ha e travelled all the way from Manchester yet again I have rang to find out why the fitter has not come to be told we tried to contact you and was told they emailed me too which was a lie Ive asked them to forward me the email oh I can’t forward it I will get customer service to call you But no was has called as yet I will never recommend this company absolutely awful

This is the third time of using Sharps but it will definitely be the last ( no loyal customer service). Rude installation customer service .. error after error from start to finish resulting in us having to pay extra to rectify their mistakes. Will never use Sharps again ... the price we paid doesn’t reflect the service/quality that we received!

Wasn’t made clear by the designer or follow up appointment with the Surveyor that I would need to do a significant amount of work myself - such as removing the existing fitted wardrobes and making sure the walls, floors were left to enable the fitter to fit the wardrobes. Whilst this might be obvious to some it wasn’t to me. I wanted Sharps to take the headache out of managing all the associated work but must of the work is with me. I wouldn’t mind but for the cost overall this doesn’t represent good value in my opinion. Expected to have wardrobes fitted by Christmas but god knows when it’s going to happen now! Also concerned that when I move the wardrobes will the surveyor need to return as effectively surveyed the walls etc before the wardrobes were removed. I and seriously regretting paying the deposit and instructing Sharps.
