“After the initial contact the designer failed to turn up for the initial appointment so not a good start. A second appointment was made and the designer listened to us and then came up with an initial set up that in my opinion would not have fitted--we discussed it further and turned the whole design through 90 degrees to make it work. Whilst the quality of the furniture seems good in hind-sight I regret not telling your designer to go away when I was quoted quite frankly a ludicrous price for the set up that we wanted. The cut down version was still very expensive for what was supplied. I believe that I could have had an equivalent installation for half the price. I don't feel that this is value for money and I certainly wouldn't use you again.”

“Sharps overall offers a great service - they meet a need for good fitted storage. Their price was reasonable, and their sales rep was excellent. We were happy with the design he drew for us. Our space was challenging; it was in a sloped loft space, so presented more of a challenge, and this is where it got complicated. The surveyor was pleasant and did his job. But there was no actual conversation that took place in advance between the surveyor and carpenter, and when the carpenter arrived, he balked at the unusual job, and stated he wasn't able to produce exactly what was drawn. He said he didn't have the materials needed - yet when the job was done, we had enough excess MDF to build two more wardrobes. Ultimately, we are happy with the finished product, although it wasn't what was originally drawn, and Sharps refunded money for all the excess MDF that now fills our garage without hesitation. Would I use them again? Yes. Overall, their customer service is good, but they sales rep, surveyor and carpenter really ought to communicate directly, especially when certain projects aren't bog standard.”

“Ordered a fitted wardrobe unit from Sharps. When salesman told me the price I nearly collapsed with laughter I thought he was joking, he quoted me in excess of £11,000.Then after my so called discounts the price was £2,700 ! Still very expensive for what it is. Once fitted I noticed 1 door was too short, gap in one of the base sections and poor finish on both cut door edges and 1 door would not close flush with the frame. Contacted Sharps, area manager visited my home and agreed with the faults I had reported. He ordered 2 new doors and 1 base section. When second fitter arrived to fit replacement parts he found that on I of the new doors the hinge holes were drilled in a different position to the original door? Overall unit very expensive, expected better for the price . Would I recommend to my friends-probably not.”
