The design stage caused a real problem. 2 visits from the designer interspersed with visits from 2 different surveyors. Once that was finally sorted and a date was set the delivery was a disaster as at least 50% of the parts were damaged in transit. Consequently the fitter spent the majority of day 1 sitting around. The new parts were delivered and the job was finished in 1.5 days. Well done the fitter.

The materials chosen matched the existing bedroom furniture well. The design, whilst it gave easy access to what could be stored and easily viewed in the wardrobe actually limited what could be stored. Given the opportunity to do the design again it would be completely different - sliding doors would give more space in the bedroom and provide easier access. More shelves - I admit this would reduce the amount of space available for hanging items but a lot of these could be folded and would give more overall storage. Shoe rack displays shoes well but is an inefficient way for storage.

The fitter went over and above board when the surveyor had messed everything up.

I had Sharps wardrobes fitted to replace a very old bridge over bed design that albeit shabby, well and truly covererd my need for space. The new bridge design (front of cupboard doors) looked great on paper, however, I was not able to view the interior of the design on paper that I thought the designer had well and truly covered with my help. When the product was fitted, I was very disappointed with the actual size and lack of storage. I had wrongly presumed the designer had followed the existing footprint of my original wardrobes, bearing in mind I had highlighted the need and importance of storage on many occasions. Therefore, I am somewhat disappointed with the overall storage I have been left with which unfortunately does not cover my needs. I have had your product in a previous home and was very satisfied. The fitting was very good and the fitter very pleasant.

The finished product was very good indeed and solved the storage issues we had in our sons bedroom. Unfortunately some errors were made and it took a lot of time and negotiations to get these issues rectified. This meant what was a two day build eventually took over three weeks to complete. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and would not recommend them on that basis alone. Being a large company they really need to look at their customer service. You have to pay a large percentage of the final bill before it's even delivered meaning you don't have much leverage when issues arise. This is not a cheap storage solution and should have had better customer service for the amount we paid.

The product is good but expensive but the company attitude and customer relations leaves a lot to be desired.

In November 2016 we booked an home appointment with sharps. there salesman listened to what we wanted.Unfortunately there is always something you miss and want to add to your order so we did when the surveyor came to check all the measurements. we was told this would be an extra £95.00 OK not a lot to add on to the cost.so was happy for that to go a head. But ! Day arrived for it all to be installed the two works (installers) were both Fantastic They soon started and found some parts that had been damaged in transit. They soon made arrangements for them to be delivered the next day. Next day new wardrobe installed and looks fantastic all soft closed doors and draws. Now the BUT. AND MY EXTRA £95.00 this is the rip off Jewellery tray this is no use whatsoever, We wanted it to place watchers, rings bracelets. And for it to have been a separate fit basically on it's own not in one of the draws were it is and you have to remove it to get to other items underneath it.very poor design. Surly this Jewell tray should be a totally separate pullout tray. This is all down to the surveyor not listening to what the customer is asking for and just wanting to get more money from you. We now have a piece of wood that's cost £95.00 And isn't any good for anything,oh so disappointed and Angry.

I had wardrobes fitted into my master bedroom this year and whilst I am very happy with the product I felt the designer was quite pushy and I was very uncomfortable with his attitude suggesting different designs than that which I wanted, I have had your product in a previous home and was very satisfied. The new wardrobes match my other bedroom furniture from Barker and Stonehouse and I am very pleased with the look The fitting was very good and the fitter very pleasant. One thing I would however stress is that I was given a £500 voucher in the showroom which encouraged me to use Sharps and unfortunately I do not believe that this was taken off the price of the Wardrobes as it came to much more than I was quoted in the showroom in fact £1000 more As I said the product is fine but the service and the price could do with some improvement

I learnt at the outset that bespoke does not mean bespoke at sharpes, there were elements I wanted in my bedroom that I was told, point blank, I couldn't have. The installer later told me there was no reason I couldn't have it if the salesman & surveyor were prepared to put in a bit of effort in designing it. The surveyor was rude and in an obvious rush to get away and when he explained my shelves would be 82mm narrower than I expected due to the door frame I asked him to try to resolve this as I couldn't afford to lose over a third of my already meagre storage space. He refused to even consider any of the solutions I proposed but as I was now on a deadline I signed the papers to go ahead anyway The installer was FANTASTIC, he went out of his way to accommodate my every wish, worked well into the evening every day and even took my bedside cabinets home to assemble to save him some time the next day, this was for my benefit to stop it running into a 5th day. I was so gutted to realise that the already 82mm short shelves had been cut another 20mm narrower for no obvious reason that I chose to contact customer services. They immediately agreed to replace the shelves, depriving me of the chance to have my much worked up to argument!! The surveyor could have organised this up front saving Sharpes an extra days labour and a whole set of 14 wasted shelves. All in all I am thrilled with my new room, I just think it could have been even better if someone would've helped me design the much wanted window seat and the service of the surveyor could've been better, I can not fault either the installer or customer services and I think I have ended up with a good product at a fair price, only time will tell on the quality

We do not believe our new Sharps Bedroom is as good in terms of quality as our old bedroom furniture. The design of the room is no better than the original design which was designed by me and one wardrobe which stands alone, does not work, the way round it has been fitted. We believe that this should have been pointed out by the designer or the surveyor. One of the soft close wardrobe doors has to be pushed to shut otherwise it remains open. Overall, given the money we spent, I am disappointed with what we have ended up with. The one positive comment would be that we have ended up with more wardrobe space.

Communication problems trying to schedule delivery date. They kept trying to book the delivery and installation date for when I was on holiday. Took quite a few emails to them to finally get the message that I was not in the country to accept delivery. However, when dates were finally agreed the delivery guys and fitter came and did a great job and happy with the overall look.

Excellent product with careful and considered installation. Would have given top rating if Customer Service had not been so dire.

End product is good and no major faults, but found their customer service both pre and post very lacking. The fitter was very polite and keen but to have him in our home until 9pm each night over the weekend was a little uncomfortable and to be asked to check wardrobe for marks in the dark was a a little absurd. I did enquire for wardrobe internal lights as this was not offered when ordered but nobody came back to me. HIgh end, High cost but low service.

First meeting with rep was friendly and helpful. A potential problem was identified and discussed and resolved soon afterwards. Following the final measurements inspection I sent in the signed plans but forgot one document. An email reminder from the inspector went into my junk mail and I didn't receive e any further follow up. After 2 phone calls I finally found out the reason for the delay and sent the document. Installation followed soon after. This part of the process could have been dealt with better.

Like the finished product, staff very helpful and pleasant throughout. I did find it rather expensive for what we actually had done and thought for the price the room would have been cleaned to a reasonable standard and rubbish removed

I'm generally pleased with final product however there is a scratch on a mirror that I'm still waiting for someone to contact me about - I thought I'd wait to see how long it would take - still waiting! Also it's inconvenient waiting in for delivery of new mirror + fitter! Ive already had to wait in extra days because one of the cupboard doors was missing, and 2 mirrors already had to be reordered. I found the planning stages frustrating because the timings kept changing. I was initially told it would take one and a half days but eventually told up to 4 days fitting plus separate delivery day. Also no-one could confirm dates until a week before which was annoying as I had to take time off work - the dates + times were then changed a few days before. On the actual day of delivery and fitting it was totally different to what I was told! I also didn't realise that the furniture would be left in such a state covered in glue and dust!
