Going on previous reports of Sharps built-in wardrobes and furniture we were expecting a real top class product especially for the amount of money spent. We were however rather disappointed with the product which is not particularly solid and the hinges fitted to the doors are so flimsy we expect they will fail or the doors will drop before long. The chest of drawers and bedside tables are not good quality for the price and no better than much cheaper flat packed furniture obtainable from any on-line retailer. The actual fitting experience was rather fraught with damage to the brand new ceiling (the fitter denied it was his fault) necessitating a complete re-paint. A mirror was also missed off the order and had to be fitted retrospectively along with some other adjustments to stop doors hitting walls. All in all a disappointing and expensive experience and we subsequently would not recommend Sharps to any of our acquaintances.

Overpriced manufacturer who think there is no one better on the market - wrong ....... Spaceslide actually manufactures for sharps some stuff and they're much cheaper and down to earth

I found the entire process drawn out, visit a shop, no prices given or indication, Designer visits - Prices higher than expected, Surveyor booked, Delivery date, Fitting days. Why the shop cant supply indication of price, or why a designer cannot provide survey quality designs is beyond me. 2 days for installation. The number of hours taken would have been 1 good day. I found it time consuming, and Sharps list of demands for install really put me off.

Ours was a new extension bedroom , fitter treated it like a construction site not a finished quality home . Power tools had no dust/shaving collection devices on ,so material was free to go everywhere , we had to clean the walls down after fitter finished including newly fitted window blinds . Fitter was very quick to leave when completed task , discussing or reviewing his work with the client , we had to stop him speeding away to change one of the hinges as we noticed it was broken .. overall average service , would not recommend on this performance .

Fitter excellent, designer over-optimistic, planning department pleasant and helpful but really messed us up on the fitting date. We were not told that the date was cancelled. We got up at 6.00 am (to drive 60 miles to the house where the work was to be done). At 10.00 we rang to be told be told that the fitting was cancelled. We asked to speak to the supervisor-she was busy and would ring us-she didn't. We rang again in the afternoon- exactly the same. We rang the next morning-exactly the same. We gave up. Not a word since except to fix a new date. But the product is good and the fitter was brilliant.

Although the final fitting is perfect, do not rush at the design stage as the designer will try to tell you what you want instead of the other way round. Also, it is not explained that as the doors are all standard widths, and are to be fitted to a wall which is not, the doors will not fit together as neat unbroken row but will have gaps between. Obviously this is all made to look smart but is disappointing if you are expecting your run of cupboards to look like the ones in the brochure.

We are very pleased with the the product it has transformed the bedroom,Gerry the designer was brilliant & Carl the fitter did a good job. We have 2 small problems which are proving impossible to resolve after making 6 calls to customer service and not getting replys this lets the service down

Satisfied with wardrobes although , I had to get fitter back because doors dropped and a few screws were missing on the hanging rails . Wardrobes were fitted on outside wall , nobody from Sharps advised me that I could have a problem with mould ! I am unable to keep anything in the bottom of my wardrobe as it goes mouldy !

We wanted a bedroom fitted within a certain time frame and sharps were able to deliver. the quality is ok for the price but would have liked and expected soft close wardrobes to which the reply was they did not fit them on this range. Soft close should be standard across the range! Follow up poor little to no response

The wardrobe looks very nice from the outside and the doors are of good quality, as is the internal chest of drawers. The other internal finishes however are not quite as good, the shelving is made of chipboard and where this has been cut, some of the edges are rough. It would have been good if these could have been sealed with filler or another sealant to give a nicer finish. We did not overly appreciate the "performance" in relation to pricing the job which started with a potential cost price almost twice what we actually paid before, ending up somewhere around the price we were envisaging having looked at other prices on the internet. Given the information available on the internet I'm not sure there are too many people who would be influenced by this - better to get to the point quicker as opposed to applying "discounts" to an initially over inflated price. The service from head office was courteous and met our needs in terms of timing. The initial surveyor could have explored options more thoroughly and the fitter whilst efficient could have completed the frame in a more visually appealing manner.

Our shaps installation was done on time, tidily and was well fitted. However, having chosen beautiful white doors, pallisters and lovely metal effect handles, we were disappointed that the filler boards and side and end pieces were not a good colour match for the white of the doors and were a different finish and texture.

Please with wardrobes, but customer service definitely needs looking at. Wardrobes not delivered when requested. Fitter was brilliant, which always seems to be the case and yet again saves the day for Sharps C. Davies

Sharps have a good product but their administration is very poor and the organisation surrounding the fitting was fraught with problems from the outset.

very poor customer service. We had 2 jobs to be done - shelving in living room and bedroom units. Both jobs were to be done together but the fitter cancelled on the day he was due. The job was then divided in 2 but in both cases it was a struggle to get anyone to come and do the work. We rearranged a holiday to return on one occasion and again on the day you tried to cancel. Only upon great insistence was the job done on the day arranged. I was not impressed and would not use sharps again.

The planning was good but we didn't get quite what we thought we were getting. The doors are now an issue as the wood closes against wood with no stoppers making them noisy and annoying

After the initial contact the designer failed to turn up for the initial appointment so not a good start. A second appointment was made and the designer listened to us and then came up with an initial set up that in my opinion would not have fitted--we discussed it further and turned the whole design through 90 degrees to make it work. Whilst the quality of the furniture seems good in hind-sight I regret not telling your designer to go away when I was quoted quite frankly a ludicrous price for the set up that we wanted. The cut down version was still very expensive for what was supplied. I believe that I could have had an equivalent installation for half the price. I don't feel that this is value for money and I certainly wouldn't use you again.
