Was recommended Sharps by a friend who was very satisfied but I was nervous in view of some of the online reviews! However, in the end the process was very smooth. The designer made some very helpful suggestions and produced a great dressing room design, the fitter was on time, very pleasant, neat and tidy and did a great job. The quality of the build and finish is excellent, and I am very happy with the result. The only problem I had was with the first customer services rep I spoke to in order to arrange a delivery slot - she was just plain rude so I ended the call and rang back and spoke to another lady who could not have been more helpful. The goods turned up as promised , undamaged and on time. Overall a good experience - let down by a customer service staff member who does Sharps no favours. A recurring theme in other reviews!! First dealings with sharp, needed a bedroom fitted for a new build house absolutely delighted will be calling again soon. Great service at the Cardiff branch from the sales lady to the telecommunication organising a day for delivery to the fitter who installed, very professional.

Do not use this company!!! Terrible customer service, took over 3 months to get my installation finished. The amount of time, money and stress spent ringing their office to never get any calls back. They promise to call you and never do. Due to all the problems I had they stated they would offer something in good will, absolutely nothing! I've emailed, again nothing. They are an absolute disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves with how I've been treated. I've contacted the press about my experience as I want to warn as many people as possible, so they don't waste their money like I have!

We went into the showroom in Darlington, the member of staff there was new, but was quite helpful, one this that I did notice though, was that there were no prices anywhere, just signs of all of the offers that they had on, 50% off sale must end Sunday! (This was the end of the summer sale, and before the autumn one started, pretty much the week after), an extra 15% if you have it fitted before Christmas, an extra 5% if you buy on your first visit….what they don’t tell you is that this is ONLY on the materials, and not actually the work. I was pretty sure what I wanted from the start, so the design appointment was pretty straight forward, however, we weren’t given a price for the parts for the wardrobe at any point - just a final price, with all of the “discounts” taken off. It worked out just over £2,000, but I was happy that I’d chosen exactly what I wanted, and so we went ahead. The surveyor turned up a couple of hours before his appointment, but this was ok, as I has taken the afternoon off work so was in the house anyway. The surveyor had an installation date of the week beginning the 9th November, although, we hadn’t been told this at any point beforehand. We were given a delivery date of 10th November (no indication of am or pm!), however, due to work commitments, I was only able to take the afternoon off, so a pm delivery was confirmed, with an installation date of 11th. On the 9th November, at 1pm, we received a phone call from the delivery driver saying that the materials were going to be delivered between 1pm and 2pm that day, my husband then received a “courtesy call” from sharps, stating that the truck was in the area, so would be making the delivery today – considering it had set off from Wolverhampton at 5am in the morning, I think we could have been given a bit more notice. Sharps told my husband that the truck was outside our house, so I rushed home from work on my lunch hour to take the delivery, however, there was no sign of the truck, and it was actually 30 minutes away. I was impressed with the delivery guys, they were friendly, covered up the carpeted through to the room that we were having the wardrobe installed in, and did their job very quickly so that I was able to get back to work as soon as possible, however, I was late back to work. On the installation date, the fitter turned up on time and got to work. However, there was a panel missing from my order, which meant he wasn’t able to complete the wardrobe in one day. He said that he would be there from 8am the next day, and should be gone by 10am as the part should be getting delivered by 9am. My mum came through to be in the house during the day, as I was back at work the next day. Sharps hadn’t paid for 9am delivery, the part was not delivered until 12pm. The fitter managed to complete the job pretty quickly after it had been delivered – this is completely unfair to the guy, he is contracted to work for Sharps, but is actually self-employed and therefore lost out on a day’s work due to the lack of organisation through Sharps. Overall, I’m very happy with my wardrobe, I’m very happy with the build, as the fitters are contracted, I guess the build quality is down to the luck of the draw, and I was very lucky. However, the organisation of Sharps is absolutely terrible, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone who has a job, or any other commitments, as they will do everything when it suits them, and you just have to work around it - I've had a very stressful few days trying to compensate for their lack of communication and terrible organisation skills.

Top quality service from start to finish. My new fitted wardrobes look fantastic and I could not be happier. I would recommend Sharps to everyone. The only negative which is very small is that I did not receive the guarantee as it was not in the pack I was left with. I did call customer services twice who promised to send it out to me which I still have not received. Mr & Mrs Wilkins

Really pleased with our fitted wardrobe which has made great use of an awkward space with sloping ceiling. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Although not all parts were correct when delivered this was quickly rectified!

Initial fitting did not supply sufficient storage and had some difficulty arranging an appointment to discuss additional items, however subsequent fitting was satisfactory.

I was very happy with all aspects of the service i received from the Sharps team, my needs were listened to and was carefully planned so that i got full use of the room that I had, Everyone was helpful and friendly, and would defiantly use Sharps again....Thank you!!!

We got just what we wanted and asked for. Three sets of wardrobes and one office all well finished off. The designer had some good ideas some of which we implemented. Had it all now for 3 months and still happy.

The whole experience of having the bedroom fitted was good, after living out of wardrobe boxes for 6 weeks after moving into a new house. We had a slight hiccough when the fitter came to one set of drawers as the unit was too long, but the fitter ordered a shorter one for us, which took a few days to arrive. So that added a few extra days to the the overall time the job took to finish. Once it was completed we were very happy with it. I would recommend Sharps to anyone who wanted to buy a quality fitted bedroom. Mr John Glenn

The fitter was excellent and very professional. The salesman that came round to design the wardrobes etc was not very forthcoming, we had to press to get any more information than the basics and there are a few design faults that if he had been a bit more proactive could have been ironed out. Overall the service was good.

The Salesman Surveyor and Fitter all were on time and professional which is hard to find these days. Sharps customer service was helpful each time I phoned with a query about the Installation. Overall very impressed with Sharps and especially their employees and although a bit pricey I am very pleased with my new Wardobe I think the secret is to keep the design simple and I didn't remove the carpet. A Very Happy Customer.

Overall we are very pleased with the service we recieved from the designer to the installer. We had looked at other options but couldn't find what we wanted but then we had sharps and they couldn't do exactly what we wanted but came up with alernatives which we are pleased with. Only downside was we were told it would be done in two days but should of been three in reality, but we had a fab installer that worked late into the night on both nights just to get it done so we didn't have to take more time off work.
