Sharps is very unreliable. I booked a first appointment on Thursday 14 th July at 1.30 pm and I no One turned up in slough. This company made me plan my day around my appointment.!!! I rang sharp and lame excuse someone had Covid but they didn’t ring to cancel to let me know .. again appointment. Made 17 th Sunday at 4 pm i spoke to staff member and we re arranged .. the staff member was in slough around 11 Am and thought she could fit me in!! But I was at work so She couldn’t be bothered to drive all the way back to slough!for 4 pm!! ! I was too naive to understand all this again appointment made 22 friday today !!! 11 am I worked my day around this apointment and someone in office said it wasn’t put on the system.. the real reason why the designer didn’t turn up today is because something closer and better came along!! For sharps that’s more profitable so It wasn’t worth them coming to my appointment in slough Incase I didnt want to buy their products !! I wasted my time on this company !! I rang sharp office again and thankfully cancelled 25 th July 6.30 pm . How would sharps like it if customer wasted their time !!??

I had wardrobes fitted in February and they still haven’t been finished the workmanship was poor as the quality considering I paid over £5000 for them I’ve had excuse after excuse for the delays I wouldn’t recommend anyone else having them installed.

Account number 6Y9007 Worst experience with Sharps, never use them. We ordered an office room fit out and wardrobes for 3 bedrooms. Each time an installation job was booked in, it was delayed. First installer did a rush job, subsequent installers didn’t turn up, or were not briefed on the requirements. There were several cancellations and uncoordinated delivery of materials. Original estimate for 10 days effort took 10 months and there are still outstanding installation issues. Despite being patient and providing access for multiple remediation attempts to take place, Sharps took for granted our flexibility and goodwill. They are not good for any kind of managed installation, quality of work was very poor eg wrong colour panels, wrong design, shelves not evenly spaced out, shoddy finishing. Installation managers appeared on site attempting to fix things, however only made promises they couldn’t follow up on. We will never use big brands again. A smaller company would have done a much better job than this. Waste of time dealing with this company, they cannot be trusted. Account number 6Y9007 for reference. See attached photos which show just some of the installation issues and negligence

The lady in the sharps showroom was very helpful indeed. The designer came out within 2 days he was great . Few weeks later the surveyor came out and wanted to change our design, which we wasn't really happy with . We waited weeks for the fitters to come out and fit the bespoke wardrobes. They spent 3 hours scratching they heads and decided they couldn't work out how they build them up . They had to walk off the job . I was so upset and disappointed and didn't know what was happening. There was £20.000 worth of wardrobes in a pile on the floor . They told me someone would ring me . I waited and waited and in the end I rang the fitting department and I got a lady on the other end of the phone , who wasn 't interested in what i had to say . I ended up having a argument with her as she would listen to me , she just spoke over me . I am a customer who as paid alot of money . Customer service rubbish northern fitting department. Another surveyor came out 2 days later measured it again and printed more pics off for me . The next day I rang them up at less 3 times as before, they told me that the following Monday a fitters will be at my house . So I took more time off work for this to happen and was excited. The following Monday came and no fitter turned up . Once again I rang up 4 times and got promised someone will ring me back . Hours later I got a phone call and got told they will look into it all for me and will get back to me . I dont hold up any hope . I am sat in my house and I dont know when my wardrobes are getting fitted. 🙃 Thanks northern fitting department. You are unhelpful, and have saff that need to go on a course to learn how to talk to customers . Please learn from my experience. I am stuck with a pile of wardrobes and I don't know what is going to happen next . Great job done sharps . (NOT)

Not impressed with attitude, came across condescending, almost treating us as stupid.

Go elsewhere. Farce from beginning to end. Room measured incorrectly, doors are poor quality with sucker marks and runs. Sharps did try and fix things but must of had at least 5 sets of doors delivered, 2 that were quality checked and they were still sub standard - wasn’t cheap either!!

Very bad, unfriendly rude person cames for the 1st visit.....explained in unprofessional way, talking to us about finance before starting. Bad impression from the visit.I would be careful to let them do my project.

Terrible service from beginning to end. Sharps even wanted to claim part of the refund when it was their own fault. If you're going to invest the amount we have paid in a wardrobe then go elsewhere.

Contacted Sharps for their 50% sale, apt made for designer to attend the following Sunday. He came explained the "Roll Royce" wardrobes and build process. Took all the measurements, confirmed my email address and said we'd hear within a few days and to choose our internal requirements. He left, he didn't leave a card or anything with his name on. That was over 3 weeks ago and not heard anything from anyone at Sharps. Appalling treatment, therefore we will not be using them!

2 walls of wardrobes £15,000 quoted, reduced to £7,700 in 50% sale for 'Rolls Royce of Wardrobes'. Fitter 1 day late and had 'personal problems' he had to deal with. Left with drawers not opening/closing properly, mirrored door warped, doors not closing flush. 3 of the 6 handles so rough they would snag clothing and internal lights coming on when doors were closed. Another Sharps fitter to fix the snags said 'thats what you get' and 'I would have told you they were good to get the sale as well'. Feel duped and robbed. Paying big money for poor quality materials, wardrobes are just chipboard. 6 days off work, 2 for the fitting.

Way too expensive, you can buy a brand new car for their price. And the design they offer was very basic and cannot be customized. Their quote was £45000 for 5 bedrooms wardrobe.

Booked an appointment for a designer to attend and provide quote and design for a fitted wardrobe in a new build property. He duly turned up, but after waiting two weeks with no further communication I went with another supplier. Poor customer service.

I had Sharps come around for a quote, and they were very pleased to explain on the day that the design would be no problem. One half of my wall went a little deeper than the rest of the wall, but they explained that would be no problem. We agreed one length could be 60cm and another length up to 70cm deep and he was keen to get a quote back to me quickly to try and meet my deadline. Unfortunately I received a note saying that my on my wall it wasn't possible to install wardrobes, as the wardrobes would need to be deeper. Instead of asking me if that was ok (which it would be), they simply said that my wall was one of the 15% of walls they can't install within. I received quotes from a range of others who have explained it's absolutely no problem. I've never had such a bad quotation experience, and would not recommend getting a quote from them. This was also after the first appointment I booked didn't turn up.

I’m giving Sharps 1 star because I can’t give them zero. This review is therefore over inflated from the beginning, much like their sales pitch. Our nightmare started on a Saturday in February when an over-exuberant and overly-friendly salesman turned up (we should have smelt a rat then). He measured for wardrobes in 2 rooms and quoted £12k, before miraculously bringing down the cost to just over £6k. I have since read up on this and this is commonly known as the ‘insult price’ (before a slightly reduced ‘insult price’ is offered). The salesman assured us that Sharps were the finest in the business, their quality second to none and sold it as some kind of utopian experience (2nd rat failed to be smelt). We foolishly decided to go ahead….. The materials were delivered and I couldn’t help but to notice that the utopian quality wasn’t quite as described and it was standard chipboard quality (much as you would get anywhere in a standard DIY store). Furthermore, the materials were dumped in the rooms, leaving marks over the walls. Not a great start. The installer turned up on a Wednesday in Late March and was going to be finished by the Friday (it was initially a 2 day job which turned into a 3 day). Giving as much care as a ‘Bull in a china shop’, the installer caused damage to walls in BOTH rooms. We could forgive a bit of damage/marks to the wall but the level of ‘demolition’ this man caused was, quite frankly a joke! Needless to say that by the Friday he still hadn’t finished and had to come back Monday. Monday came and ‘the installer’ started work. Within 2 hours he left feeling unwell (not at all his fault but he shouldn’t have come at all given that he said he was unwell overnight). A call into their Head office followed with an unhelpful remark that the installation couldn’t be finished by anyone other than ‘Demolition Man’ (as he had become known). We have a small house so imagine my disappointment in being told this with the majority of the upstairs in absolute and total chaos. 3 days went by before Sharps finally (and miraculously, because my stress and temper levels were significant rising) found another installer who arrived on the Thursday and finally finished off the installation (albeit almost a week late). We have since had to arrange a Painter and Decorator to quote a repair to the walls ‘Demolition Man’ caused and this has finally been accepted by Sharps that they would foot the bill (after initially offering a pittance of £88 as a goodwill gesture - I think not!) Sadly, their level of care for your property and their sense of urgency to finish the job on time is not matched by their eagerness to get your money; they are very good at that. Don’t be fooled by their utopian advertising. Sharps are not a dream, they are a nightmare. Please avoid at all costs and don’t get sucked in, as we sadly were.

To whom it may concern We were expecting punctuality , gold quality Instulation and delivery & good customer service ( as shown on the website)but the experience isn’t that as it’s what’s Sharps bedroom thinks it’s alright as appointments are always to their customs regardless the time available for it’s customers with rubbish customer service as the fitters arrives to their own schedule not the customers. We placed an order on November 2021 and until today Mid April 2022 the job hasn’t been finished and the wooden borders are all over our house and we can’t move around.. it’s the worst experience we’ve ever had with a Furnitur company.. we thought the prices we paid which sharp’s company requires a big deposits in advance & a full payment before sending the delivery of each room will give us a good service and quality but we are really disappointed.. we want a refund and our money back for the second room but they won’t accept this and our money are stocked .. I won’t advice and recommend Sharp bedroom to anyone even if they are 50% or 60 present discount as they are advertising now on there products as the service you will get is rubbish and expecting a nightmare.

Time wasters. Discount is just advertising. They can’t give a quote in 2 months. The designers wants the customer to do design, they should first provide some design ideas. Communication very bad.

A waste of money. Was misled by the designer and the company basically told me tough luck. Should have just bought something from IKEA. I wish I checked this site before I wasted nearly £2000

We've had a very bad experience with Sharps. The first fitter was very bad and left the two wardrobes unfinished with a panel bowed, exposed end pieces, exposed wood on Pelmet, shelves cut incorrectly, lights in the wrong place, doors not adjusted and very poor scribing. The second fitter resolved the issues over the course of a long day but noticed some hinges had been damaged and ordered replacements. The replacements arrived but were completely wrong (Sharps CS attempted to blame that part on me), so the third fitter had to be called off. The job was originally supposed to take 3 days, its been 3 weeks and still not finished. The customer services team have been poor and the general level of incompetence is shocking for a company like this. PLEASE research alternative and smaller local companies as they seem to try harder!
