Very poor, collected late and brought back late. Service book not stamped and Service warning light still coming on....arranged to have this rectified 2 days later and garage never turned up. Also got a telephone call on the day of service and M.O.T telling various things needed doing and the cost would be double. Fortunately I did not fall for that and only paid for what I originally needed.

Terrible customer service (long wait to speak to someone on the phone and incompetent staff) and a complete rip off! The full service is not a real garage full service unless you pay a lot for Servicing Stop's add ons (which would be included in a normal garage full service) and they charge over the odds for any additional work. Stay clear!

I ended up trying to cancel my request because the bad reviews worried me too much. the garage selected was good but i worried about the extra costs that would be piled on by servicestop. so i tried to cancel. loooong wait on phone, eventually got through and cancelled the job. or so i thought. the garage rang me today, servicestop didn't tell the garage!!! so what exactly was the point of that looong wait and phone conversation? if they can't do the basics right......

Too much to write on here, they are very, very poor at getting back to you when things go wrong. They should give clear upfront written estimates prior to works being carried out. The Invoice (that I had to beg for) , after paying them, had 3 words on it ! even though I have asked for a detailed breakdown of works done. Its not the garages fault (that they subcontract the work to in a contract with Service Stop who act as a 3rd party and will not let you deal with them directly). I would strongly advise anyone to avoid using them, go to the garage directly, it will be cheaper and will save you stress and hassle. Use the Good Garage Guide to find a garage yourselves. Servicing Stop do nothing but add money to your bill and act as a go between.

Unprofessional Rude staff see the emai I’ve sent to them before do business with service stop. Email: I’m writing you in relation to Invoice 796198 that appear to be outstanding. First of all I I want to mention about a service I was offered and never delivered. My car was collected for a service and M.O.T on the 13th of December and the time agreed of the collection was between 9am and 10am , however a person appeared at 10:30am. Before agreeing doing business with Service Stop I’ve asked your operator if once the service was carried out if they would record the service into my computer on board, and the answer was yes your garage had the equipment to do so. So I was happy to proceed with the service. On the 13th of December I receive a call from Service Stop around 2:30pm advising me in order for the car to pass the M.O.T I had to replace front break pad, which I agree to proceed with the repair. On my return home my car was delivered with a Refusal M.O.T pass due to a major break down of communication between Service Stop and the garage. I then check what was actually done to the car and since it was delivered without an M.O.T which was my main reason why I took the car for a service and M.O.T. I was also told on the call at 2:30pm that my widescreen Washers were unblocked and they also put antifreeze into the water tank. When I switch the engine on I get a message from the computer saying washer fluid low, I then check if the washer caps were fixed and unfortunately the weren’t as no water was coming out of them. I then also check if the Service carried out was recorded on the car computer on board and nothing was recorded on the computer. So I’m not actually sure what was done to my car a that point because the only thing I have in record is a picture with a guy lying on the floor next to my car with a filter sitting next to him. If that’s your proof of doing work to my car it’s highly disputable. Since I lost all my trust with Service Stop the next day I had to take my car to an other garage in which I had a service and M.O.T professionally carried out with no issue, and when I went to collect my car I received al the documentation as promised. So I’m not sure what outstanding balance I have with you guys but if you want me to pay anything , you should reimburse me a two days Car Hire, the new M.O.T I had to do with an other garage and all the time I’ve wasted and I’m still wasting dealing with such an unprofessional company like yourselves. 2 days car Hire £120 New M.O.T £30 Petrol Used £15 My Time £100 Total £255 I’m happy to proceed with Scots Procedure Rules (not Civil Procedure Rule as stated on you letter as We’re in Scotland) and resolve this matter in Court.
