“Arrived 1 hour late for collection,and 1 hour and 20 minutes late for return no phone call received concerning the above.Quoted initially £85 for service and £19 for an mot.ended up paying £175, which included a fee of £25 for a puncture repair told by driver who returned my car,no puncture repair carried out as it did not need it.??? When you phone them you have to wait for at least 30 to 40 minutes for the phone to be answered . On advisory points tried to inflate bill by saying needed engine flush,spark plugs,air conditioning filter change etc etc.....would have inflated price by a further £400. My car is 5 years old and only does 6000 miles per year...total 30,000 miles to date. Still waiting for a credit of £25 for puncture repair that did not happen. Stay well away from servicing stop ,they are just rip off merchants,better to go to main dealer cheaper and far more trust worthy and more peace of mind.”

“Shame, I have used them before and no problems just had the car serviced, today I get told I needed breaks( which I dont) . Oil more expensive, which it wasn't last year( my cars obv upgraded it self in 12mths) and engine flush. So a £84 Service has turned into £160 and that's only cause I declined the brakes. Once bitten twice shy, so once I have my car back I will make sure I never use this company again and tell my friends who I'd said they are good, they are a typical company out there to get money out of people Im So upset now”

“i had a mot and interim booking on 27/11/2019. a service guy came to pick my car since he couldnt find a parking for his car (this didnt happened last year when i did full service and mot withthem)so he called his garage and made me speak to them, the guy in the fone said i have to drive my car to their garage, i asked him how far is the garage by walking distance, he said 7-8 min i though that was fine( i had no other option my car mot was due today) then the guy who came to pick the car gave me the address, by the time i was googling the address inthe map this guy had left, and it would actually take me 20 min walking distace. so i drove my car there and walked back 20 min, got late for my work as well, then later in the afternoon i got call from them saying that i have major problems with my car it will cost me 1300£. so i told them i cant affort it ill instead have my car back( this point i knew they were trying to rob me) then on 28/11/2019. i made all the payments and called to check the delivery time for my car, the guy answered and told me that i had to pick my car myself, itold him but the service was pickup and delivery, he said since i had drove me car there myself i have to pickup as well, i think thats ridiculous, (i had to drive there just because their service guy didnt have a parking space for his car)i checked inside the car there was a bread crumband saseme seeds looked like someone had eaten in my car, the report said needed to change brake fluit clutch oil and anti freezer which should included in interim service, it wasnt topped up and in the report said i need to topup myself. so i went another garage for mot and full service they told me all i needed was front two tyre change. and charge me only 40£ for mot. the worst service i had in my life ever. i can say that servicing stop doesnt fullfill the promise they make andthey will ripp you off and they have lost one regular customer and will definitly lose another 3 which are my friends today and wouldnt reccommend anyone here.”

“Worst company ever... This is a scam, please stay away from this company. I booked full service + MOT two months ago. Just 2 days before it was due, they phoned me and said, "There is no garage available in your area" and cancelled my booking. Or atleast have a contingency plan because they cannot be trusted.”

“I cannot stress enough how little this company can be trusted. I have followed procedure to try resolve my issues with Servicing Stop, yet unfortunately they are adamant the MOT and Service has been carried out correctly. I will state now - NOT ONE MEASUREMENT BY THE GARAGE IS CORRECT FOR THE FAILURES ON THE MOT, THE CLOSEST IS 220% OUT! I get the call from Servicing Stop - told my car has failed its MOT due to pads being 1mm and rear tyres being 1mm. Its going to cost over £700 for the labour and parts. Its not a good offer so I decide I will do the work myself. I get the car back, begin to work on it after ordering all the parts I have been told it must have replaced, lo and behold the tyres are just below 3mm left of tread and the brake pads are 5-6mm. Niether of which is a fail and certainly not what they had told me over the phone, printed on the MOT report and put in the service report document. My biggest issue is obviously this is either a con to get the extra unneeded work done or it is an insufficient service and MOT because they have failed to get close to the correct measurements, telling me that the service I have just paid for has not been done correctly. I have reported it and communicated with David at Servicing Stop who somehow attempted to blame me for wasting my own time doing the work they told me was a critical fail and my money I had to spend on all the parts. They have no excuse for it and say they are only "harsh" decisions that they would have advised; they did not advise they pushed to charge much more than a comparative garage for parts and labour. They have cost me hours in time, a considerable amount in parts that were not needed at all, provided a full service that cannot be trusted and have got the car MOT'd and serviced again elsewhere. They will attempt to con you - do not believe a word they say and ensure if you use them, you check for yourself. Do not let them throw away the parts until you see them to dispute it as they are completely dishonest. My recommendation if using them - request photos for evidence and see the parts they tell you need doing. I have reported this to the DVSA as Servicing Stop refuse to accept their failures.”

“Would NOT recommend to anyone at all!! Hidden fees were placed without giving me an opportunity to opt out. Was not informed of what was happening to my vehicle each step of the way. It took up a lot of time being placed on hold while waiting for them to pick up and a lot of time having to go through the complaints process. Informed of £1200 fee for the work needed to be done. Advisor was trying to be very persuasive. Just go to the garage yourself and get it done.”

“Just rubbish ! Took my booking online at 8am today, now call at 4.45pm to say they cannot do the mot and interim service after all ! No technicians in the area with space !! Now i have a car with mot due to expire in 2 days ! The booking lady did kindly say i could drive 35 miles to a centre over the next few days where i could possibly wait while they did it, but no guarantees . They clearly have no idea re mots as theee need to be booked in advance on time slots basis through DVLA website linked to garages ! Complete waste of time and scammers, services are not available so they should not advertise.”

“Took the booking at 8am today, interim service and mot on my car, mot expires in 2 days so happy with booking for tomorrow..then at 4.30pm get a call to say actually cannot do the work and have no bookings available for the forseeable future, i can however 'pop in' to a garage some 35 miles away in the next few days and the could do while i wait !! Absolutely disgraceful service with no concern for any customers. If you do not want to pay for the full service and full price mot they put you to the back of the queue! Just a scam and should be closed down by trading standards as they cannot supply the service or goods they advertise. Do not use, you have be warned..”

“Worst experience ever. It is a scam! Would give it 0 stars.. Can’t believe they are getting away with all this. They took my car 40 miles away and I ended with a £500 bill and they wouldn’t deliver the car back... Full of excuses Need to get ombudsman involved. Totally unprofessional. Avoid at all costs..”

“Stay away from these, they quoted me £143 for a service and MOT, got a phone call from them saying I needed brake pads for the MOT and the price shot up to £650. I asked if they were gold plated and told them I would not pay... they immediately dropped the price to £450. I would not pay what was effectively treble the original quote. Ended up paying the original price of £143 with an MOT failure. Got some pads fitted at my local garage and it flew through the MOT £85. Absolute con merchants.”

The garage was rude on the phone and told me that they would not return my car until I made payment for more than twice the quoted price. I then saw the receipt and realised that I had been made to pay for advisory items at ridiculously high prices that were not even necessary . Including coolant of which I already had a full bottle in the boot of my car. Since getting my car back it has been smoking and is leaking badly!!!! After mentioning this to the garage they have stated I need to send it back to them however if they don't take ownership i will be charged for them to fix my car that they broke!!!! I have since also read a huge number of reviews about cars coming back broken and aggressive staff scamming people out of money. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTE SCAMMMERS!!!!”

“Very bad pricing, my partner was quoted a price for MOT and service of £114, then they added £77.00 for an engine flush, £66.00 for something to do with the brake fluid and the £55.00 which she has no idea why. So with out telling my partner it went to £390.00. Total rip off, would not recommend them. I have tried for 2 hours to get through and speak to someone with no luck.”

“Horrible service. Prepared to pay surprisingly higher charges. They looked professional until they take the car. They attract customers online showing cheaper price through google ppc to get orders. Someone called in the afternoon, there is no clue he has seen the car or not but he speaks non stop amounting the bill 400% than initial quote. I managed to bring down to the original quote. They are least bothered about customers satisfaction.”
