Cheap? They wanted to do change the wipers a tyre which they think it failed the MOT which is fine if they didn't charge extortionate prices. They wanted to change antifreeze flush for about £160 which is about double the local garage. They just want to get your car in knowing some people will just pay the high prices to get it back. Really don't waste your money, "Cheapest" is not always the best. You will pay more than their INITIAL price at a local garage and probably end up paying less in the end.

Scam. Guy from this company shouting at me because I didn't want the extra services done. Outrageous prices for the extra services. I asked why I had to pay before the car was back, as I was a bit worried that the car wouldn't come back and was told, if you dont pay for it you wont get the car back. Threatening behaviour just show the unprofessionalism of the company .

Full service for £89 turned into £269 with brake fluid replacement total con do not use these guys

Crazy price !!!!!!! I paid £486 for 2 front discs and pads and break liquid for a VAUXHALL insignia, not a Ferrari. I'm very disappointed by this company. They are thieves.

Cancelled the first booking the day before. rebooked for the following week. collection time was 8 to 10 but they didn't arrive until 1145 despite being on their way at 11am. took 20 mins on hold to get to speak to someone to be told that. reasonable price.

I booked my car in and it was picked up by someone. You hand your keys over and don't even know where the car is going. Does this sound odd? I rang ServicingStop later that afternoon to find out where my car was up to. I was told I would be called back. I received a call at 16:10 saying that it needed various things and to authorise extra payment for low ash oil. I received an invoice at 16:20 and I paid at 16:33. My car didn't come back that night despite many phone calls to StopServicing. I ended up tracking the woman down who collected it through personal mobile. StopServicing didn't even call me back. The day after. my 'Check coolant' light came on. They hadn't checked it or topped it up. I then checked the oil to find that there was hardly any in there. StopServicing took days to get back to me and then wanted to take my car back in to check I was telling the truth (despite photos) which would have been another day off the road and wasn't offered a courtesy car or anything. You cant deal with the garage as they wont deal with you and said StopServicing are a shambles. StopServicing don't take responsibility and blame the garage. The customer ends up losing out and they both make money for services they didn't provide. They refused to refund so I am now pursuing through my credit card company

Having used them on previous occasions I came back to use Servicing Stop again this year and things appeared to have changed significantly and very much for the worse. 3 bookings and 3 failed collections resulted in the MOT on our car expiring and me having to get the MoT done locally to allow my wife to get the children to school. The fourth booking I made contact with the garage myself to ensure things would run smoothly however I had to drive from York to Leeds to get the service complete as this was the closest garage! Seems strange that a nationwide company such as this don’t have any garages working with them in the whole of York area?? The garage in Leeds were excellent and completed my service immediately to allow me to get back home. However there were some recommendations for extra work to be completed so I had to wait for servicing stop to contact me. They then proceeded to quote me nearly double the price for each job that needed done so I selected to have none of them done and arrange this work to be completed myself. More concerning they informed me that I should have my 4 year old Mercedes (40k miles) engine flushed as there could be oil residue left in there before adding new oil. This option was going to cost me £49+vat. The scary thing about it was that I was at the garage and my car was already parked outside as the service was complete. Had I paid the £49+vat I don’t suspect my car would have been taken back in for an engine flush and then re-filled with oil again so I am interested to find out what would be done if I had paid for it - I suspect nothing other than me being out of pocket. For everyone else's interest when the garage send the servicing report to servicing stop the car is likely to be completed so be wary of paying this absurd surcharge for an engine flush as I suspect absolutely nothing will be flushed and it would be exceptionally hard to prove either way so I imagine this cost just recovers some of the savings they offer on the service. Be warned and stay alert. If In doubt contact your garage direct to find out what work has been done and find out if they were aware of items that you have been charged for!

Please Please dont use Servicing Stop they have ripped me off by more the £300. I had my car serviced and MOT and should have cost between £180 and £250. The bill came to £550 and had to pay to get my car back. I dont know about cars or service but trust them to do the job and not rip me off. I have spoken to several garages and they have said the same about this service. I have emailed the company to get a refund and they cant even be bothered to call me to sort this issue out. I will never ever go with this company again and i hope you all do the same. Poor service and customer care poor. Please dont get ripped off like i have and this has now left me short of money for this month again they arnt bothered

Awful company. They called me about what needs doing for my car to pass the mot PLUS several other works for the service which added up to alomost £300. I specifically asked if there is anything else needed for the MOT and Michael at servicing stop said No, everything else is fine.then they returned the car with an mot failure due to a worn tyre which was never mentioned. I will NEVER use this useless company again. They fail to answer their phone or respond to emails. I was charged a lot of money for repairs and there is absolutely No paper work issued and no online details. The driver that dropped it off was clueless and could not be bothered.

My vehicle was brought back after a "Full" service with the low engine oil warning light on. I had to buy (£22) and add another 2 litres of oil to bring the level up to mid dipstick! The service schedule I had booked was supposed to include an air filter change but this was apparently not done as the entry they had made in my vehicle's servicing logbook showed only an oil change. Told me all my brake pads needed changing and quoted £325 plus VAT, which I declined - actually only the rear ones were low and it cost me just £70 to get them done by my local garage. I telephoned them to complain about the low oil (having paid a synthetic oil surcharge) and they promised to respond within 3 days. Never heard another word. AVOID !!

Where do i start..... My daughters car was booked in to be collected, serviced and MOT'd and returned. Car was collected etc and car failed its MOT as we predicted. However we were quoted £1700 to do the work my daughter isnt that clued up and i tried to call thr garage back..... 121 times, my daughter tried 142 times, 3 emails and eventually someone called back and spoke to her dad. who wasnt best pleased, the mechanic immediately dropped the price to £900 (so halved) and said she could set up a payment plan. My partner told him what he could do with that quote and advised him to drop the car back, they said we would have to arrange for a recovery truck because it failed its MOT and the old one had expired. so we said fine we would sort it but to not do anything on the car. Within the hour they had dropped the car back. Anyway we ordered the parts which came to a total of £114 and my partner did the work which took about 3 hours, so i ask myself where did a quote of £1700 come from or was they trying it on with a 21 year old girl!!!!! So tried calling them after the work was complete and between us called 3 different numbers over 200 times - no answer. sent a couple of emails to which we got a reply the car was back in this morning and passed its MOT. Never again would we use this company and i am in the process of making a formal complaint!!!!

Avoid, go direct to a garage you trust. Your car will have a list of problems with inflated prices (hugely inflated) to repair. If you are having an MOT done it will fail and the numbers are eye watering. Just don't do it.

Firstly I booked for collection on 9/9/19 however they were unable to collect so I cancelled and rebooked for 27th. 27th rolls around no sign of collection. I call to be told they have cancelled both appointments however if I drop the car off Myself I can still have the service and MOT. I arrive at the garage where nobody is English speaking and through broken English I’m told that the service and MOT will be done in 35 mins. I’m not a mechanic however this seemed a little quick for a full service and MOT. I grabbed my keys and drove away without any work commenced. Disgusting service, the garages are obviously not vetted I will never use this service again they are obviously only out to make a quick buck over car maintenance and safety services!!!

I gave my car for service and mot last Thursday and been told will get my car back on Monday.. I have been charged £970.00 it's okay but will I get my car back I couldn't travel to work I lost my job .. thanks servicing direct..

Booked car, collection confirmed - no-one arrived to collect. 8 unanswered telephone calls, one holding for 15 mins. Two emails sent - no response, as to why it wasn't collected. Not going to use again.

The worst website ever!! Booked my car in and no one showed up to collect. No explanation as to why it was not! I used them a few years ago and when I rang up to find out what time my car would be ready and how much it would cost they could not find my car! They did not have anything in the system to show that my car was taken by them. I swore I would not use them and well I wish I had not even tried it this time around!! Careful with these people,you will be charged more than your original quote-watch the smallprint!--a seemingly new one is their "environmental surcharge"?-the price of which seems to be conjured out of thin air. A new one seems to be an excessive charge for synthetic oil(you are not consulted)when you dispute their price(which can come to 20%+ of the original price)you will be threatened with not having your car released-leaving you without transport possibly for a weekend if it happens to be a Friday,. How is the company even getting away with advertising at 4stars when the truth is nearer 2-time trading standards put a stop to this.

As an appointed repairer for Servicing Stop we have over the years struggled with their ethics and tactics to sell to customers so had found a way to overcome this with excellent customer service from our part - ensuring all customers in the first instant, followed then by the needs of servicing Stop. Its a fact that they charge just £17 for an Mot yet pay us the garage £35! it does not take much to understand that they need cars to fail so to avoid making a loss. If we do not fail a vehicle then we are pressured and questioned as to why not. To add to this we have NOT been paid for the last 12 months for any of the work undertaken on behalf of them, and yet they have taken the money off the customer. They ignore all calls and / or never call back.
