very poor quality of service, they tried to force to change parts which i dont want to change yet. price is £50 over then website agreed price. when asked they said they charge seprate for service parts. i reality i paid £160 for just change oil filter and oil. never recommend to anyone else. staff is very rude when communicated on email.

When my car got picked up they called to say it needed 3 things done I knew it needed oil but not break fluid or pollen filter, I told them I would get back to them and before I had chance to check it out George from service stop rang back and said my brake fluid doesn't need doing just the oil change and pollen filter he said it needed to get done or my car wouldn't have full service history or get a stamp. So I said to go ahead and do the job after finding out from seat and the garage it went to the it actually intact didnt need a pollen filter changing and the garage started this in the report back to service stop my car has done under 10,000 miles and is not 2 years old yet. They also charged me nearly 100 pound for a 20pound filter I have reported back to the complaints department were I spoke to hannah gordan who was more then useless and said there is nothing they can do. I would never use this company

Avoid at any cost Avoid at any cost. Cheats, un professional, try to steal your money saying tech terms. Took my car next day to a nearby garage, he did a full free of cost scan, said there is nothing wrong. Also checked and said only oil was changed on the last service. Cheats..... Service Stop.. exactly their name says anybody who uses them for service once will stop them using again....Service Stop Using is the right name they deserve.

Booked a service and MOT over a month in advance. I got a call the day before my MOT to say they were fully booked!! How can they be fully booked when they accepted my booking 5 weeks in advance. I booked the day off work as would be without my car, and my MOT is running out very soon, they really were not bothered. I would avoid this company if you want reliability. Shocking service.

Trying to get in touch with this company is an absolute nightmare. Finally spoke to someone who turned out to be the most patronising and rude person I have ever dealt with on the phone. Extra charges on top of the quote, surprise surprise! You are not told which garage your car is being taken to, only the area. Do nit be fooled by the low price they quote. Never again!

Awful experience. Stressful from the moment I handed over my key so someone who had no paperwork, I was basically handing my car over to a stranger. I've had my car MOTd again and the fault they said it had was a complete lie and they wanted to charge me to £180 'investigate' the issue. A friend's mechanic says it shouldn't cost them anything to investigate.

So angry at myself for not reading reviews before! I never leave reviews but this company has left me angry and out of pocket!!!! They were offering great deals online (60% off) and actually the price of MOT & a FULL service was totalling for around £130 so I thought happy days! I budgeted an extra £200 just in case any problems came up that needed urgent work. The morning of my MOT my car was collected. They were efficient collecting my car so at this point I actually recommended them to my friend who then told me horror stories about her colleague who has just taken them to court! Alarm bells! Anyway, about 3 hours later a sales man from servicing stop called me. He rushed through telling me all the faults with my car in fact he was so fast that I could barley understand what he was saying, once he was telling me all the faults he was quickly saying the prices (that didn’t include vat) and it was coming to well over £1000. I asked him to stop and repeat what my car had actually failed the MOT which was two things, I then asked for the cost of these two things and I was advised around £500 plus vat ! Baring in mind the faults, had I have gone direct I would have only had to pay around £200 which is what I originally budgeted. He also said one of the advisory’s I should absolutely not drive my car without having it done so it scared me slightly and I agreed to have it done. Anyway, all in all I am paying over £700!!!! This company should not be able to trade I feel I have been robbed. The worst thing is, your car isn’t released until you have paid the full amount. I am hoping that the car comes back ok now I have paid. Avoid at all costs !!!

How I wish I'd read the reviews before booking in. Basic MOT ended up costing over £600 and had a friend check and they hadnt even done the work. Took them a week to get the car back to me. This is truly criminal and I'm amazed they are still operating. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!! Unless you are a policeman or trading standards officer as something needs to be done to shut these criminals down.

Never even turned up, despite a bombardment of emails and texts in the run up to the MOT date. By the looks of things I have dodged a bullet here and feel truly embarrassed to have even considered using this pathetic excuse for a business. I wholeheartedly hope other people considering using them read this and the other reviews.

Do not trust this company one bit. Offer cheap deals and then try to inflate prices. Hard to get hold off and refuse to phone you back. When you do get through all you get is lies. If you want ripped off then use them if you want lies and hassles then use them. If you want smooth service avoid them

Terrible service. I tried it out for my first time and will definitely be my last. I used the discounted price for my vehicle advertised on their website and the pick up drop off service was appealing. However, the day before it was booked to be taken in for the service I get a call to say that my booking isn't available due to the availability of the garage. (notice other reviews have the same problem!). Then I get offered a service for the day after but on the condition that I drop it off and pick it up with compensation of £25. Bringing my whole supposedly full service to a sum of £67.43. I take my car in the next day and the garage is some random place in the middle of an alleyway, unprofessional and if I had known of the place then I wouldn't have taken it in the first place. The guy who takes my car warns me that the company you're dealing with (servicing stop) are going to rip you off and you're better off doing your service directly with us. It seemed dodgy at the time so I called up servicing stop to ask if I'm going to get any extra charges as the mechanic said, and they assured me the only fees are the environmental charges and the fluid top-up fees. 2 hours later, I get a call telling me that my car needs 'specialist engine oil' and to replace the brake fluid and coolant and it needs an engine flush. Charges as follows respectively, £25 +VAT, £77 +VAT, £66 +VAT, £55 +VAT. So I asked the person on the phone what my total would be and he gave me a discount of free engine oil as I'm doing the flush, and gave me a total of £288.88. I got ripped off as I had been warned. I inform him I need to think about it and to call me back. 15 mins later I miss his call so I call back and no answer, multiple times. I call the company number and wait for 15 mins to speak to someone only to tell me he'll call me back. 10 mins later he calls back and I agree for the works on my car for the agreed sum of £284.87. I'm sent a link to make the payment. I open the link to make my payment and find the sum to have jumped up to £320.20. Now things aren't making sense. I call back 72 times and no answer. I call the main number again and wait 20 mins in the queue to speak to someone to tell me no that's how much it adds up to. I explain that that may be what your total is but that is not the figure I was given and not agreed to. She informs me that the guy will call me back. An hour later. Nothing. I call him again and of course no answer, so I call back the main number only to wait in the queue for another 15 mins to then get told the same thing as last time and that my car is ready I just need to pay. I informed them the same thing and that I agreed to the works summing £284.87. They said he'll call back. 5 minutes later he calls me back. Asking what's wrong. I tell him the payment agreed was £284.87 and you're trying to charge £320.20 and that's not what I authorised. After another round of them explaining the costs and another round of me explaining that that may be the case but you gave me a number and i agreed to that number and now I'm being charged differently. He then went on to say that it must have been the figure without VAT, I informed him that on the contrary, you specified the total included VAT and even if it didn't then my sum would be £341.84. He then said he trusts my word for it and would alter the payment. I then paid and went to collect my car. Nobody came to me and I waited for 10 mins. People walked past and nobody gave me the time of day. I then approached someone having a conversation with whom it seemed to be his friend, informed him that I was here to collect my car, I gave only the model of the car, by which he responded to me saying which one. I then gave the colour of my car, he handed me the key and walked off. No paperwork. Wasn't even the same guy who I gave my key to in. the first place. No record of any work done to my car like advertised. Nothing. Worst service ever.

Put 1 star cos I cant put a minus. Changed the date without telling me on the morning they were due to collect my car. Dont answer phone. Dont reply to emails. Good luck getting any money out if me if you rock up on the date you changed my booking to. Bunch of unprofessional cowboys

Worst company I have ever dealt with service and mot good price until you get had over with all the extra oil change £59 engine flush £24 diagnose engine warning light fault £89 diagnose handbrake fault £59 plus other bits £529 and its failed mot, now they want £229 to try and fix diesel filter but cant guarantee it will work. Hand brake cable £329 and that's only side absolutely ripped off stay away

Worst company I have ever used, cheap service and mot until they start adding extra diagnose fault £89 on engine warning light, diagnose fault on brakes £59, oil change £59 brake fluid change £24 engine flush £59 then it failed mot on warning light and they want £229 to fix it but cant guarantee it will work, then want £319 to replace 1 side of handbrake cable absolute RIP off company £529 later and still no mot.

I've used ServicingStop for years, and generally been satisfied with them. But this year...what a joke! Their USP is: a national network of garages that can come to pick your car up and make MOT/Servicing as hassle free as possible. This whole idea is to provide quality with convenience. So it comes as a shock when they leave a message (20 minutes before closing for the day) to say the garage can't pick up my car tomorrow for MOT / servicing & i have to do a 40 mile round trip if i want it done (or 80 miles if i don't stay on site till completion) This was booked several months ago, and while i appreciate garages may sometimes struggle, it is not acceptable to expect a customer to have to travel with no means of getting back to work with no real prior notice, or have your car off the road. Good customer service is ringing 1st thing in the morning to discuss the problem, or having backup garage(s) that have been contacted that can do the work instead. It is not leaving your customers in the cold (20 minutes before offices close) with no option of how to resolve except don't drive. Be warned!

Had my car serviced and mot and when the man called I had to pay an extra £250 more for brake fluid and flush and air pollution filter changed ,I think I have been ripped off but I paid because I'm a woman on my own a n lost my husband last year so feeling very sad about paying it ,never again ,they took advantage and my family are so angry because they should have been part of a full service

I had my car serviced from service stop, terrible and disgusting experience. Booked on offer for £116, but then someone called me and said price increases to £400 as break filling change is not converted in full service and without doing it service record will not be updated with bmw. I was told car work be delivered back at 6 but didn’t get back until 8. Will never use them again. Absolutely disgusting!!!

Had my car picked up today the car is 2 year old only wanted a service for 110 pound put was rung up being told brake fluid oil and total price 305 pound what a bloody rip off they took a woman and told her that I had no choice but to pay my husband is livid

I was quoted £141 for a service and mot for a 3 year old audi. They took my car at 9am by 2pm i had not heard anything. I called them after 20mi s someone finally answered and i was put through to the service guy called nicholas. He went through a number of service recommendation from internal air con filters. He then proceed to day i need a brake fluid change and engine flush and fluid change on something else, with a very nice extra cost if £300. I rejected this kind offer and i only want a service and mot. The mot passed with flying colours as you would expect for a 3 year old car. He then became quite pushing asking me if my car was leaded etc. I advised i own my car but i know what road he would have to tried to push if i told him it was. He then went in to say i need an engine flush, for £55 plus vat which i advised no thanks. He then went on that i may have engine issues ect. 😡😡 at this point i snapped back and said no thankyou. He then said your final bills £181? I again asked why whats that built up of, again he got very aggressive and said your oil change environmental charge and your fuel top ups??? I said never authorised anything to which he slammed the phone down on me. Really poor customer service and i would defo be on your guard with these people. No 3 year old car needs any if the stuff he was recommending and when you decline because your not stupid you get it rammed down your neck to try and take some of the work. Now im on hold again waiting to get through to see what the hells going on with my car !!! NEVER USE AGAIN.....

Had my 2014 Infiniti QX70 serviced by… Had my 2014 Infiniti QX70 serviced by Servicing Stop a couple of months and under 2000 miles ago so imagine my surprise when the oil light top up warning came on! Now bear in mind that I have had this car for 3 years and it has never lost a drop of oil and has never even needed a top up, so i checked the dip stick and found that there was so little oil in it that it didn't even register! I can only conclude that the garage literally put the bare minimum oil in at the service and did not fill the engine to the top with the appropriate oil (the oil which I hasten to add I paid an extra £30 for as its fully synthetic!) or worse still, they haven't renewed the washer on the sump plug....or even worse than that not fully tightened it and it's now leaking! Either or, do not use this company if you value your vehicle as they obviously don't vet their APPROVED mechanics at all and cut even the most obvious and basic corners! You have been warned!
