I had to get some engine maintenance, and I have to say the service was pretty decent, the people I talked to on the phone were very friendly, I have no real complaints and it was pretty good, the price was low so I would buy again

The price was very low, only £77 for an oil change and it was definitely worth it, I also had some tyre maintenance which was also great for the price Customer service was also very friendly

The service cost had been reduced to £114 but actually that is really just 77 supposed checks as opposed to anything being replaced as everything over and above that seems to be an additional cost. In fact, that price is just to check and not to service which is misleading. The only part replaced for this cost was an oil filter as I still got charged an additional £24 for oil. The standard parts as part of a service I would expect is a completed checklist with feedback on the checks. Normally as part of a standard service it would be oil, oil filter, fuel filter, brakes check, spark plugs etc. For £469 I got an oil filter and 3 light bulbs in terms of actual parts. Thats about £20 in parts. The fuel treatment is simply an additive that costs no more than £20 but you charged £49 for pouring into the tank. It baffles me why you would do a fuel treatment and leave a dirty/old fuel filter when guidance in the service manual is to replace after 84 months which is long overdue. The engine flush is also around £20 so the £54 seems a pretty heavy markup when no real labour is required and in fact, for the age of my car it is not even recommended. Over and above this you ask for feedback on the service before I have even received my car back as I had to make payment. Even so, I only see positive reviews on the servicing stop website but having now looked at this review website, I can see I made an absolute blinder of a mistake. The price crept up from £130 to £469 and that's only because I rejected a further £158 for a belt replacement. I have been completely taken for a ride and its not a great feeling. I honestly feel like I now need to have my car serviced again as I have NO confidence in the work that has been done. Absolute shocker.

This company should be shut down, do yourself a favour and save your money. They are the biggest tip off merchants I have ever had the misfortune to deal with, they even have the nerve to charge you for next year's service and mot, when you complain they promise to refund the money and don't. They deserve to go bust. Try to phone them is a joke

DO NOT USE SERVICING STOP under any circumstances!! They will rip you off - big time They will lie to you about everything They will overcharge you for any repair work They will try and sell you “extras” at hugely inflated prices They will try and pressure you in to having unnecessary work done They will say you can’t have your car back unless you agree to have work done How do I know this?...I work for a garage that did work for Servicing Stop. They owe the garage I work for over £10,000 They owe money to 10’s if not 100’s of other garages that have worked for them They have 16 CCJ’s registered against then for £81,806 PLEASE - DO NOT GIVE THIS VILE COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS Go to a good independent garage instead...

Had a service carried out by these cowboys, I don’t think they done anything apart from topping up the washer fluid ? My oil light came on a few weeks later normally comes on after about 6/7000 miles. Please avoid these fraudulent people.

the end Got booked service at kwick fit but due to covid 19 and lack of technician my booking was cancelled Went on Google typed service near me and service stop come up on search Logged in typed my registration and got quotation £229 discounted to £120 for major service Initial service very nice they come picked the car / kept me informed and so on the problems started when I got the call and the sales person started to creating additional items that needs doing ie different oil type £24.90 / flushing the engine £55 and changing the break fluid £77 Not sure why??? Oil should be included as this is what says on major service Flushing engine ?? - never heard of that before Break fluid was replaced on my last service - recommendation to replace fluid every 30000miles so not sure about this either Lastly I have requested to check my passenger front wheel as these is some vibrations when breaking - got the car back and they said it all sorted Got to car this morning the vibration still there Not a great service Very hard to get in touch with anyone Great marketing to get the clients on apperently 50% discount but at the end you still pay the full fee

Riccardo Torre Apr 6, 20:05 BST Good evening. I m writing this email to inform how I feel disappointed with your service today. JOB REFERENCE: 1157252 Riccardo Torre and the vehicle was 1.3 petrol Toyota yaris. I requested with full service and MOT to change the windscreen wipers because I didn't know how to do it. I received a call few hours later and some rude guy said by the phone that I need to pay £ 25 extra to change the wipers. Really? Is that joke? To follow, he said the break fluid need to be change because every two years and the cost was £75 extra, again I was not agree as my car in two years runs only 8000 miles. Onother think was the mot fail he said because of the wipers are damaged and I did not authorize to change it. Before delivered my car, the garage give also a call and they asked for the prove of the payment as they did not believe me. I paid almost £150 for what? I think also this should be your duty to inform about the payment has been made and the should delivered the car without any questions about the payment. In the end, the delivered driver asked how was the service, I explained was terrible, when I mention about £25 extra to change the wipers he was in shock as this is really RIP OFF THE CUSTOMERS, especially in this hard time, when everyone are shorts of money. The last thing. I went to do a mot service close to my house, the service guy said why you want to do know the mot if government decides to extend the mot 6 months long cause of the coronavirus? Again in shock I didn't know about this and again I m more angry with you as you should inform about this changes, I easily could do the mot later and safe some money, of course you need just still more money from all the customers. To complete, the service garage near my house made the mot for only £30 and included on that price they charged also the wipers, which took 5 minutes to change. They made the mot, pass straight away, they mentioned also the mot don't fail because of the damaged wipers, but will fail for others critical issues. I hope you will read carefully this email and you will contact me back as I want be refund for the terrible experience received today. Awful

Took my car this morning. Rang this afternoon to say I have to pay an extra £24.99 for a special oil. They done without asking. Saying the oil was a special synthetic diesels oil. I only have a 1.2 skoda. All diesel oil is synthetic so would not of needed an extra oil. Paid for a full service nothing else was done other than an oil change and a check over. Waist of money. And should have been asked before they went ahead to charge me for the oil. Robbing ba,,,,d would never use or recommend to anyone.

Both last year and this year I have had my service cancelled on the day which I only came to know of after I called Servicing Stop to ask why my car had not been collected. Ridiculous costs passed on from the garage that my car was sent to..... £100 for a budget tyre, I can purchase good mid range Khumo or Nankang tyre for less (from a company that still makes profit, the person I spoke to from servicing stop tried to justify the cost with businesses having to make money and cover overheads). I have been told it is in excess of £80 for diagnostics because a pressure warning light has come on.... which is absolute rubbish. The warning light is easily removed with a simple reset which can be done sitting in the car and simply pressing menu buttons until you get to the tyre pressure menu. I was shown how to do this when buying the car and it means nothing other than the tyre needing more air putting in it. As I have been told it is an MOT fail to have this warning light on I was given 2 options. 1. Pay someone in excess of £80 to operate a menu from the drivers seat of my car / to have unecessary diagnostics. 2. To clear the fault myself and return to the garage in the next 10days for a retest. I need my car back ASAP as I am required to be redeployed from my normal nhs clinical practice to assist in the management of covid19 so have no choice but to pay. Not to mention the initial quote of an engine flush, changing break pads, replacing break fluid, 1 new tyre and diagnostic for a tyre pressure fault being just short of a £1000. Lesson learnt; just go with a garage that you can trust yourself. Don't be fooled by what appear to be cheap upfront prices as you can't guarantee the prices the garage will charge once they've got your car. I will not recommend you to anyone and will in fact do quite the opposite and advise people to not use you. I certainly will never consider your services again. You have not looked after your customer you have simply taken my money and let any garage have my car which has resulted in a ridiculous set of quotes and taken advantage of someone (who like everyone else) needs their car.

**AVOID AVOID AVOID** Thieves and charlatans. I was charged £515 for a service and MOT that the garage, had I gone there directly, would have charged £247.20. Over twice the price for doing absolutely nothing. For one part of the service, they inflated the price 3.25 times, and another 2.8 times! Their business philosophy is to market the Service / MOT at a very low price to entice you in, and then inflate the prices of the 'additional' work carried out. They remove any contact between customer and garage so that you are unable to check the actual cost of the service or if the work is even required, this then leaves ServicingStop to dream up their own costs which they then pass on to you, the customer. If, like me, you have no idea what the cost of work should be, you get bamboozled into a list of work required and the associated costs - which you are unable to check with the garage - and asked to approve the list, there and then. In my case, ServicingStop went through a list of 8 items that needed doing at a total cost in excess of £700 in under 20 seconds. The guy didn't even stop for breath. I was then pushed for an instant answer. I managed to compose myself enough to question the validity of some of the work, but I didn't know if the work was needed to maintain the service or not. This is pressure sales, that ServicingStop regard as 'approval' Their 'get out' clause is that they seek your 'approval' before work is done, but as a layman, you have no idea if that work is actually required or what the actual cost of that work is as charged by the garage. The customer is servicing or MOT'ing their vehicle for a reason, and most if not all would not have the time or inclination to recall their car without having the work done, as it would be hugely inconvenient. To make matters worse, if your car is due an MOT, which it fails, and you don't go ahead with the work, you are not legally allowed to drive the vehicle, so you would need to arrange a trailer to collect it, at your cost, (which you would also need to get it to the next garage), so you are going to agree to the work, are you not? Its an extortion racket. In my case, ServicingStop claim that they were charged more by the garage than what the garage have told me they would have done the service for. When I contacted ServicingStop to ask for the breakdown of what the garage charged them, they declined, so who do I believe? The garage or ServicingStop? If ServicingStop had nothing to hide, then they would show me. Failure to provide this, in my mind, makes them LIARS. I have contacted ServicingStop and suggested that they charge me whatever they were charged by the garage plus £50 for their time (this is generous considering that they do very little in this process other than introduce customer with garage and take the money), and they have declined what I think is a very fair offer. I should have paid more attention to the watchdog report that questioned ServicingStop's integrity for the exact same reasons that I have found to my cost. Look it up before you choose to ignore my warning and give them your hard-earned money. I will certainly not be using their services again, and suggest that you simply go straight to your local garage.

Absolutely appalling service. This company are openly robbing people of their money and are some how getting away with it. From the second the guy came to pick my car up it was a disaster. He openly warned me that they would try to push extras on me and told me to say no. With this knowledge, i wasn't shocked when the guy from the company called me to say that my car needed all of these 'essential' extras. I politely declined all of these and clearly asked just for the basic service. He said ok and 2 minutes later the invoice came through to pay. Low and behold, those extras were on the bill. Immediately i rang the number back and nobody picked up. 2 hours later i started to panic so rang the guy who picked my car up. He said that he couldn't help nor could the garage. They said if i wanted the car I'd have to pay. So basically i was blackmailed into paying. I would never recommend this company and would avoid at all costs. I will be reporting to trading standards.

The whole set up is a scam. They draw you in with a low price for MOT + full service. Then they call you and claim additional work is required and ask you to agree to waive the 14 day cooling off period for them to proceed. In my case, what started as a bargain £143.50 MOT+service fee, ended up as a nightmarish £536 fork over! Avoid!

Shocking service. Rescheduled my appointment twice with half a days notice. On the day of my confirmed service they rang me once, and I missed the call. I returned the call straight away and it took me 30 mins on hold to talk to someone who said they now can't fit my car in because I missed 1 phone call. Absolutely useless, will Never attempt to use them again.

I got a quote for a B5 service on my Mercedes which has only done 20,000 miles and has no Problems I was quoted £168 inclusive of parts. the car was picked up in the morning and in the afternoon I got a phone call to say the car needed to use premium oil, and a detergent clean before using new oil. I asked them to mot while they had the car as they offered cheap price, they informed me the mot failed as the light needed adjusting, I asked what it would cost to adjust light and I was told it would cost £70, I refused and I now have a car with no MOT. These people are crooks total bill £362. Stay away

I have used these for three years for services but will no longer or recommend. Each year they try and bump up costs in their very cheap service rates. I booked a £89 full service. Garage were great and can’t fault them. Even they said that working with SS is a necessary evil to get work in but they try to have little involvement with them. Car picked up no problem. A sales man calls from SS and says my £89 service is now £300 as it needs a full oil flush , new pollen filters , new spark plugs, and special oil. I told him I’ve used you three years and just want the standard oil change and service. His attitude changed and started trying to convince me to have all those work done. I refused and he said the flush could be half price and my total was now £250 but he “couldn’t go lower.” I said again I didn’t want any extra expensive work as my car is only four years old and doesn’t need a flush every year ! After that he couldn’t get off the line quick enough, quoted a cheaper price for me then hung up. I got the link expecting to pay £89 and it was £140 due to “environmental surcharges” and “top up fee.” Neither of these fees were mentioned to me and when I asked the guy returning the car what was topped up he said nothing as all my levels were fine. They are a scam company who try and extort as much cash as possible from customers. I dread to think how they treat people who aren’t as savvy. DO NOT USE THIA COMPANY. I will report to trading standards.

Serviced an AUDI Q5 for my father and abused his confusion to extract the maximum value from him. I cannot understand how he was convinced the car was being dealt with (as always) by Audi Stoke on Trent. Very disappointed - invoice settled at £1150.00 .... a headlight level control arm??? added to service and MOT.

What a useless service provider, phoned a day before the service was booked in at midday, the line was awful so I tried to call back on the number that was text through. The voice message stated they were now closed for the day, at 12 midday! Unable to leave a message as the mailbox was full. Subsequently tried calling for over an hour on the other numbers with no joy. I also emailed which only replied with a generic automated response. As I expected no one turned up at the supposed time and date to collect the car for it's service. I'm glad they didn't turn up as I wouldn't trust a company to send my car for a service who are not capable of answering a phone.
