I wish minus or nil stars were allowed as they are an awful business that preys on vulnerable people and exploits them with work that is not required at extortionate prices. Totally agree with the other negative reviews - my dad was completely conned out of £500 for a £93 job

I cannot believe this scam and fraudulent company is running despite all these reviews and complaints. Unfortunately I became their victim too!! I went directly on their website and was blinded by their fake reviews wish I had read these reviews below!! I can agree that they ripped me off!! I bought a brand new car last year and have not had a single issue whatsoever! I paid for a full service and MOT and got a phone call few hours later that my MOT has failed and they quoted me total of £600 for works such as oil, brake fluid etc and yet I had paid for full service but this was however not included! I spoke to a rude, unprofessional, lying agent called DANIEL! He quoted me this high amount and when I told him I would not like to go ahead with it he said the works have already been started despite my confirmation. Their website states they do not carry works without customers confirmation but this was a big lie! He further blackmailed me if I do not pay the amount they will not release my car! I asked to speak to the manager and then he hung up on me. Despite several attempts to call back I was on hold for hours and no one answered my call! I had no other option but to pay the amount as I needed my car urgently! Please do not ever use this service! They are a scam and fraudsters! I have all my life gone to local garages and have never had my car MOT failed , I paid 5 times the amount I would have paid anywhere else! This company needs to be taken down!

Most expensive service I’ve ever had. You think you’re getting a good deal but it’s just all expensive advertising to make you think you think you are. They continually add on money to the service and you don’t even get to talk to the garage directly, only someone in London who isn’t actually working on your car. Can he actually tell you what needs doing right now. They charge the most ridiculous prices for the smallest things and all the things done were only advisory which I would have happily got done somewhere else if I’d actually had the chance to speak to someone actually dealing with my car. On driving my car I found my dash cam messed up which is wired up so I have no idea how to fix it.

I feel ripped off and blackmailed! Please do not use them. I wish I had read these reviews before booking my car for a "Full Service and MoT." I was quoted, just over, £100, for a "Full Service and MoT" for a Vauxhall Astra, ut after paying immediately and getting a discount, it came to £91. The car was booked for a certain date to be collected, but then at the last minute the collection date was changed to the following day. After a couple of hours, I got a call from Gary, from ServicingStop, saying the car had failed the MoT on 3 things and it would cost about £650 to repair, plus I will have to pay about £50 for oil change, which I thought was included in the "Full Service." Then I asked for a report and asked, when the car would be returned. This is where the black-mail comes in, Gary tells me that the car can't be brought back to me because it was illegal to drive a car that had no MoT. I said that when I booked the car service, it said that the car will be collected and returned on the same day. But, Gary insisted that the car can't be driven without an MoT. Then I said, well I'd like to collect it myself and then Gary said that I would be driving it illegally. I explained that the MoT was due on 01/08/21, but Gary said that as I had the MoT done so early that, the old MoT is not valid anymore and therefore it'll be illegal to drive it off the garage premises. Then he said you have to pay for the oil change, which is nearly £50, and also said, make it to £92 today and plus 6 more payments of £92 a month, and then you can drive the car off today. Then he said the car will be only released when I pay for the oil. So I went to pay on the website and, with extra charges it became just over £85. So, now I've paid, just over £91 + £85 = £176 for a "Full Service and MoT," which doesn't even include change of spark plugs and brake fluid top up. I've asked another garage to give a me a quote to repair the MoT failures, and they quoted about £180 to repair all three faults. I haven't got the car back, yet, and I feel ripped off, blackmailed and angry.

The discounted price draws you into thinking its good value for money, believe me it really is not. Its a complete rip off, work that would normally be done as part of a full service incurs extra, extortionate costs. You will NOT be able to contact by phone, text or email, they will not pick up or reply. Only positive is the actual garage that carried out the service & MOT, they appeared decent & trustworthy & I really don't understand why they would be linked to the "servicestop" company. I was quoted(not estimated) £118 for full service & MOT ended up paying £271 or I wouldn't get my car back, that was after telling them not to carry out the work they recommended, 6yr old car 6,000 Miles per year.

In July last year I had the misfortune to use Servicing Stop for a Interim service and MOT, ended up paying nearly £800.00. I am about to take them to court over the fitting of parts that did not need to be changed etc, I read all the latest news on this despicable company and feel sorry for you all. Trading Standards contacted me in December, and they are compiling a dossier on them, not sure what the outcome will be, they will probably lie their way out it. But I will have my day in court having amassed evidence from independent garages which I will lay before the court.

Do not use this place for a service!! They tried to tell me that I had multiple things wrong with my 6 year old car which would have cost £720 to fix. My car has been serviced yearly and has never had any problems. One of the "problems" was with the auxillary belt, they said it's about to snap and has frayed badly. I told them not to fix it and to only do what really needed to be done which was oil and brake fluid, still costing me £140. I have since had my car looked over again, there is nothing wrong with the auxillary cable or any of the other things mentioned. The brake fluid and oil should have only cost around £60 so I have been told. They are a scam and an absolute rip off, telling you that there are problems that don't exist just so they get some money out of you. I have seen many bad reviews mentioning the same things, I just wish I had read them before booking. Will never use again!

Do not be fooled with their misleading discount offer. It will cost at least 30% more than an averge cost.

I used them for the first and last time ever. Even their reviews on their website is a lie.... All what has happened to everyone else has happened to me today. the phone number that is connected to them only rings and no-one ever answers. however they called me from the same number and that P*&£$ me off. My car went in for an MOT and an interim service. i told them not to do anything else to my car. i received a phone call to say that i need to pay £135 although the price was £81.99. i was charged for oil, and something to do with the lamps. i was also charged with the fuel consumption although the car isnt drivable because the head gasket has blow. SO I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY WOULD HAVE CHANGED THE OIL!!!!!! This is what makes people not trust these industries...

Call to say they have found faults after service . Talked so quickly so you can’t get complete price properly and they skip over extra vat , charged way overpriced prices for example they charged £100 for engine flush. Obviously you have to pay as they have your car . drop off person very rude . Do not use ever .

For convenience and speed of booking I made the mistake of using these cowboys. Picked car up almost 2 hours late and took for a full service. Received a call from an initially polite chap who informed me my back brakes were “ metal to metal” ( despite me having 2 tyres fitted last week and being told they were fine! ) I needed both headlight bulbs(when the car left my house I knew one was on its way) brake fluid and specialist oil..... quoted £865 but not to worry sir as you can pay on interest free! It would have cost me £85 just to have the bulbs fitted....I almost spat my Starbucks down the phone and politely told him no but he then got pushy and stroppy. When I came back at him he hung up.Avoid at all costs

Needed a quick service done and most local garages were booked and I stumbled onto servicing stop. Guys from the actual garage were great and HONEST. But servicing stop is just a scam. Trying to oversell things your car does not need. Also, all at exorbitant prices. Great business model, but won't get return business with thier cowboy tactics. Please patronise them if only if you have money to waste. Great for draining your wallet.
