Specialist oil is a con. Plus all the other unnecessary garbage the salesman Daniel tried to add onto my service. I should have told him to shove it, but as i’d already payed up front, and was at work and stressed, i decided to take the hit for the bs engine oil extra, but refused everything else he tried to add on. What a total con and rip off. My car didn’t even return clean, and i’ll be inspecting the work recorded on my invoice. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

A COMPLETE RIP-OFF! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE TRYING TO CHARGE ME 700 FOR SOMETHING THATS WORTH 100. NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR CARD DETAILS TO THESE GUYS PROBABLY A SCAM!

Total RIP off merchants, would not recommend them to anyone, unless you have several hundred pounds to waste.Stay well clear would be cheaper using a main dealer. 😭😭😭😭

I cannot stress enough to AVOID this company. Wanted to charge £500+ for an MOT and service which was originally quoted at £150.. Stayed on hold for an eternity only to speak to aggressive and rude customer service people who reported the work was mandatory. I rang the garage and the work wasn't mandatory at all. Finally they agreed to charge the original agreed price only for them to send an invoice for £200 but no indication what the extra cost was for. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Go with a trusted name that you know aren't cowboys and thieves. They will attempt to rip you off without fail and it is incredible aggro trying to resolve problems with them. DON'T DO IT.

I absolutely agree with the below bad reviews. Had my car serviced last week - I got a phone call from a condescending "customer services" rep who tells me my bill is £600. Attempts to totally confuse me with technical jargon, speaking at the speed of light and then laughing when I asked him to repeat himself as if I am the idiot. He also said he would refuse to turn off the service light unless I had the "required work" - total con. I also had absolutely no idea where my car went - still have no idea. It's not detailed on any documentation anywhere. Only positive of this was the girl who picked up the car - absolutely lovely. Hope she finds a job elsewhere sharpish! I will never be using this service again.

Booked car in for service, they told me they would pick the car up between 0800/0900 and drop it off before 1600….. I paid in full up front but they still billed me additional money for - engine flush -long life oil -brake fluid None of which I agreed to…. They told me I need to pay or they won’t release my car! Car was finally delivered at LUNCH TIME the next day! Meaning that I missed a day of work as I have a near 50 mile commute…. Stay away from these lying bandits!

Service stop are such rip off merchants. They make out you need to get the work done on your car for it to pass it’s MOT when really it has already passed. They also make out you need specialist oil. When you try and phone them they don’t answer the calls. They also try to bribe you by offering you £10 off your bill if you give them a good review on trust pilot. Shame on you servicestop avoid like the plague

I feel ashamed of myself for being duped by this service. I booked in for an MOT and service (ref 1314172). Was told it had failed the MOT and the suspension needed attention for £220 each side. A list of other expensive recommendations too. Luckily with a quick google of parts and usual costs I found it should be half that. Got the car back after an extra £260 or so for fluid changes (I thought part of the service...). Took it to local garage who told me it had actually passed the MOT when they looked on the government website. Servicestop told me it had failed. There is no grey area here. They lied to me. Furthermore the local garage checked the suspension and said it was fine. Through quick thinking and a panic feeling I managed to avoid £440 of needless cost. They did manage to overcharge me about £200 for the service so I didn't come away completely unscathed. Ask youself how much is it worth the convenience of someone collecting the car from your house? Hundreds? Thousands?

Great News Servicing Stop are being taken to court on 13-15 September 2021 by Enfield Trading Standards, I wonder how they will lie their way out of this one, it's about time they got their comeuppance, for all hurt that they have caused.

I disputed your high costs with my MasterCard, work carried out wasn’t done so £500 for zero work although you thought the cost was reasonable for filters and brake fluid not mention your specialised oil, I emailed you to no reply, you opposed the cost so I’ve every intention of submitting my evidence to Wood Green Crown Court

This company is about to get a big surprise steal from my mom. I am going to make you pay back every penny £276 for brake fluid engine flush and Antifreeze. Can't wait till you come to collect my car.

These con artists robbed me of more than £600 adding on extras which were NOT agreed to. Have reported them to Trading Standards & have been advised very recently that they are being taken to court for luring people in with cheap prices & then adding on unnecessary exorbitant extras. They will get their just deserts!!!

Had a service quote which I agreed with ,the car was collected later received a call saying that there was a sure charge of £60 as it was a special oil that they used and £20 for a sump plug , as I was not happy I called the garage only to be told that he knew nothing about special oil or a problem with the sump plug, I then received an email saying that I had agreed to pay the extra which I hadn't but then a 2nd email saying that it was just the sump plug was agreed to be paid for, I am awaiting for their reply DO USE THEM

Booked my car in. Spent £500 to get it returned with the brake and engine light still on. I sent a complaint two weeks ago and have been ignored. What did you actually do to my car? Anything? Because for it to be returned, after spending that much money. The engine light and abs brake light still on is a very poor service. DONT USE THIS COMPANY AS I BELIEVE THEY CHARGE A WHOLE LOAD OF MONEY AND THE WORK DOSENT GET CARRIED OUT! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Like many other they piled on the costs by phone for my 3 yr old car at 22k mile final bill well over 500 pounds.The bells started ringing when I asked does that include changing cabin pollen filter? O yes that will be another 75 pounds !What when you can buy a pollen filter for 8 quid Something I changed myself the following day along with an air filter something else that would not have been supplied & fitted for the money.It took me under 4 minuets to change them both the following day .Never ever again .Go straight to a garage your self

Money grabbing people in between me and garage - go directly to the garage and avoid them unprofessional people with no customer service skill at all. Car fail MOT with registration number plate bulbs not working - £1.60 and about 35 seconds job. Passed today. They called my wife and said that to pass mot it’s about £264 worth of work! On top of that if I want to do advisory work then cost of quotation was £895! I know what I've done to the car and it’s not required. Btw on their quotation that 2 light bulbs was about £35!!! To release my car I had to pay £46 for SPECIAL OIL... As a full service I do understand it’s all filters and spark plugs but it was only oil filter and oil so £175 for this it’s just a rip off. It’s my fault I didn’t go to details of what they doing and didn’t check trustpilot before. They filter all good reviews only on their website. It’s not local garage fault as I know them. It’s them who put bad name for others. They should be avoid like a plague. NEVER EVER AGAIN They already had problems with WATCHDOG before... not surprised why...
