Overpriced. Terrible communication meant that the garage has been unable to return our car to us and we are without it for the whole weekend. Living in a remote area its our only way to get to the supermarket and work. Tried to charge us an extra £56 as well. Not reliable and definitely not good enough.

I don’t usually write reviews but after the service I received I felt compelled to write something to hopefully prevent others having the same experience. In short avoid this company! Communication was terrible, and when I tried to call them I spent on average 35-40mins on hold just to be told a servicing manager would call me back, which they never did (5 separate calls over a 36 hour period). The price seems good until you need work doing and then their markup is double what you would pay if you went direct to a garage. They wanted to charge me £600 for 4 new tyres, an engine flush and brake fluid refresh. The same work (with exactly the same tyres) cost me just over £320 with another garage. You have no direct line to the garage either so the first I heard my vehicle wouldn’t be back with me at the agreed time was 20 mins before the drop off window. My advice is to go direct to a garage and save yourself a lot of money and enjoy some good customer service.

So my vehicle was supposed to be picked up they say between 08-10 more like whenever they feel like it I already paid service mot to avoid hidden charges they like to add wrote an email how disgusted there customer service is and been on the phone since 10 this morning!

I wish I'd have looked at these reviews before getting my car booked in for a service. Absolute joke of a company, and I actually can't believe some the garages get on board with them. I couldn't fault the work done by the garage but I was overcharged by Servicing Stop by £39, you get the invoice to pay and then they charge way over the top and you have no option other than to pay or you won't get your car back. I didn't get my car back until noon the next day when they said it would be brought back at 6pm. I phoned and nobody ever picked up, I've sent emails, no-one ever responds, but I'm not taking this lying down, I'm going to go over their heads, I'm in lockdown, what else am I going to do, got plenty of time to sort this out. Dreadful company!!!

any extra work is very expensive, cant get intouch with the office as nobody answersthe phones get through to voice mail after 20 minutes only to be told mail box full cant accept messages not happy with the office side the garage that did the service appears to have done a good job

They are still price gouging you may even be told the car is unsafe too drive soo they get the money and big money

They do not answer phone or emails did not arrive to collect car worst customer service I have ever experienced Extras and price outrageous Payment page not functioning on website Can’t get hold of anyone so I can pay the outrageous price and get my car back Level of service disgraceful

had both my car and van booked in too these after reading what all youhave been through they will NOT be taking either my car or van luckily me and my partner read these reviews otherwise we would of fell through the trap too so thanks guys you have saved me a load of money

If i could have given zero stars i would have done. Arranged online for specific date, got email few days later saying that the appointment had to be cancelled so had booked me in the following day, ok accepted. No one picked up my car, called garage and they said that Servicing Stop had not confirmed the appointment with them, but i had a confirmation email from SS. SS said that the appointment was actually for the following day. Not true. Garage finally picked up on the 3rd day. Work needed to be done on car, garage waited all day for work approval from SS even after leaving 2 voicemails. I rang, kept on hold for over 45 mins before i could speak to someone at SS, they said that i wasn't booked in until the following day (the 4th day) An SS advisor rang me and i gave him both barrels for the way i had been treated, he agreed with me. SS do not communicate with either the customer or garage, the customer always has to chase them which is painful. One thing i would recommend is that NO ONE USES SERVICING STOP AS THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE JOKE TIN POT COMPANY as well as a rip off. I have had nothing but hassle from them and even the garage think they're a joke. Keep well clear of this company

They are biggest rubish ever!! No one showed up to cellect my car,spend 2 hours calling them from 2 phones!! Getting my money back. And before u book read reviews they are robbing people!!! Shame on u all shame!!!!!!!

Booked & paid for an MOT & Service. My car was not picked up & all attempts at contacting Service Stop failed, both emails & phone calls ignored. The next day I had a curt email stating they were unable to arrange the work despite accepting my money To add insult to injury, I compared the receipt I had been sent with the amount debited to my credit card. I had been charged £17 more & the £5 discount for paying in advance had not been applied. This is the 4th time ServiceStop have let me down so I definitely will not be using them again!

Just fallen into the trap. paid £120 for a full service, then had to pay a further £28 for oil....really? To make it better they have taken my car 20 miles away, 40 mile round trip (another £10 in fuel). My bog standard £40 has now cost £160! amazing...……

Car got picked up this morning for a full service which I had prepaid. In the afternoon I got a call from them with a small list of what needed doing. I declined this but was informed that I needed to pay another £30 for the oil. This I paid almost immediately. It is now almost 8pm and the car has not been returned yet. I should have taken the name of the garage and a contact number so that I could have called them. I tried to call service stop as their lines are advertised as open till 8pm, only to get an automated answer that it closes at 5pm. To say I am frustrated and extremely angry is an understatement as there is nothing I can do until the morning.

Awful. Tried to cancel my appointment and no answer. Filled out a cancellation form and had nothing back, this company will rip you off, DO NOT USE!!

Absolute rip off. Paid for a full service and they only changed the oil filter then presented me with a quote for £1500 for additional safety work. I then later found out that the garage that took my car could of done it for £40 as they were on Groupon. Tried calling servicestop but you cannot speak to them as their mailbox is always full or you are on hold for a long time. They will only answer emails if money is involved. Will be reporting them to the motoring ombudsman. This is total fraudulent. Cant believe dragons den is associated with them. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY.

Frauds. Don't book with them MOT or servicing. Will rob your money off. Won't give you any explanation. Won't reply to your emails. Won't pick up your phone calls. Unless you pay what they are asking for, you won't get back your car. What work they had done on your car at what cost, you won't even know it with a proof as they won't send you an invoice. Cheaters.Avoid them.

Why are these lot still not in prison?rip off merchants I paid £114.60 for full service collection/delivery paid in advance they took my money never collected car never answered phone calls or emails avoid avoid avoid don’t let this happen to you

Booked car in for interim service and MOT about two weeks in advance. Cost was £73:36 and £16 for MOT. Website asked that if I paid now I would save £5. When I clicked to do this the cost was £100:13. Confused by this because I only expected to pay £84:36, I emailed them 3 times for a breakdown of charges. No response. Phoned them, on hold for 30 mins. No response. As I knew that I would be contacted by them on the day that the car was serviced I paid the £100:13 and would question the bill on the day. The only extra charge that I could think of was for dirty oil disposal of £7:99 which was in their small print. The only other thing was a charge of £5:99 for topping up fluids. Prior to the car being collected for service, I checked and topped up all the fluid levels on the car so that I didn’t need to pay for the top ups. During the afternoon I Wes contacted by Servicing stop. I was told that the car required a specialist oil and there was a standard charge of £24 for this. In addition as the car had reached 40k miles it was recommended to change the fuel and air filters at a cost of £49 and £12:50. I instructed them to just change the oil. I was the asked to pay the £28:88 (24 +VAT) and they would release the car. At this stage I challenged the costing that I had already paid? He didn’t know but eventually said that the extra must be for the oil disposal and the fluid top ups. I explained that any car that has a service will need the dirty oil disposed of so this cost should form part of the standard charge and not hidden in the small print. I also asked why I am being pre charged for fluid top ups. I didn’t need any and the garage had not done or charged for this. He said that it is a standard charge that they add with all services. Again I pointed out that this was false advertising and that because it was not done, was not paying. Somewhat confused, he removed this charge from the bill. I then paid the remainder for the oil and waited for the garage to return the car. At 1650 Hrs I was contacted by the garage asking if I had paid the bill to servicing stop. They had not received the money from them and therefore could not release the car without payment. This was on Friday afternoon and the garage was due to close until Monday and servicing stop phone lines closed at 5 pm for the weekend. Therefore I would be without my cat for the whole weekend because they hadn’t paid. The garage eventually called and told me that they had managed to speak to someone from servicing stop on a mobile an the money was being sent to them. The garage also said that servicing stop had just stopped it’s contract with them over this incident and others where they have failed to pay. Extremely happy with the garage but terrible service from Servicing Stop. Think that I will forward this review to trading standards for false advertising and the hidden charges.

no name i would NOT recomend them to my worst enemy big con merchants or should i say rip off try to phone them only to wait for about 45 miniuts while they play some bloody awful music i know i tried at least 3 times dont answer your e mails either be advised avoid them like covid19 you have been warned
