Absolute rip off I expected to have some issues but not 850 pounds worth Then the car had problems after which were not there before and it was breaks and warning lights E mailed customer service Monday this week guess what yep nothing I almost hit a articulated lorry as could not stop I would not recommend in any circumstances and am taking legal advise too

Looks like they're having a bad day. DO NOT use this company. I certainly won't be again. I've used them for quite a few years now and I think the gaps between services/MOTs are just enough to forget what awful an experience I have each time I go. If you want to get in touch, you'll be waiting at least half an hour on hold. If you expect to pay what the original quoted price was, apparently this is unreasonable. Prices a quoted without VAT firstly, then there are surcharges for everything, topping up fluids if needed (although this is included in the full service), adding 'special' oil (I've got a normal diesel), environmental disposal surcharge. So when I booked for a £120 service and MOT is was avtualyl £230. Then my technician tried to tell me to get a load of extra things done which I was sure I'd had done through them recently, only when he checked back did he see that yes, if he hadn't he'd have got an extra £500 out of me (or there abouts). To top it off, I still don't have my car back. I had confirmation that the work was complete mid afternoon and it was paid for (reluctantly) then. But it's now 20:00 and I have no way of getting to work tomorrow. Just spend a bit more, and avoid the stress and annoyance that servicing stop will bring you.

Paid up front for a car service and mot . . Worst service I’ve ever had . My car was checked by a mechanic I know before it went in . He’s said everything was fine yet they have charged me another 187 pounds 🤷‍♀️The guy on the phone told me 1149 he would send me the bill to pay . Then the bill came in 187 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Trying to call them back is impossible. Worst company ever . Still waiting on my car 🤷‍♀️ Pure con if I ask me Lynn

Bad experience. I thought I got a cheap and hassle free service but it turned out I paid £188 for just a oil and filter change on 2007 model with only luxury pick up.and drop off. In beginning I got quote 88.56 for full service with 77 points check which was included with 60% off june discount wow. Later I recieved a call from their call ceter after pick up that my car needs brake pads and discs quote extra something like £500, which I refused and asked them I will check n do that some other time as there was no light on dash just service sign. After call I got text saying I have to pay 188 before my car is released!! I tried to call them back on 2 different numbers on their website so to explain I did not ask anything extra but there is no way you can speak to them back... just listening to music forever... recieved email saying I asked for extras like flush and premium fuel, which I didnt ask ... I even refused their suggestion about brakes.... anyhow I just paid the full amount 188 instead of 88 to get my car back and my car was delivered later. Now as soon as I start my car the sign came up on dash bulb off and next day engine check light came on... I explained everything in detail and email them but no response.... service book says just old and filter change... now I have to find another mechanic to fix bulb n see what's happened with engine check light on dash ... also their reviews o their site seems fake as I can't see mine which I give straight at time of payment.

Absolute disgrace,car went in for 1st service for £109,car is 1 year old with 2000 miles on the clock,gets a phone call telling me it needed oil,specialist oil and an engine flush,and asked for another £91.20,if i didn’t pay I wouldn’t get the car back,Should of learnt my lesson,never really checked reviews,So don’t think twice about it,read this again and I’ll guarantee you’ll save money and hassle,bye bye servicestop. AKA. DICK TURPIN MOTORS,,ps he wouldn’t of charged as much

Because your car is taken to an anonymous garage, it will be held hostage till your bill is paid. car & work unseen. The quote was £88+VAT, the bill was £635. Main dealers are cheaper. Will I receive a VAT Invoice for my payment?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are over priced and you will not be able to get in contact with them. Charged me £245 to replace an auxiliary belt which should only cost £90. My total hold time trying to call Servicing stop is over 4hours and still no answer! Don’t be fooled by the cheap service and mot deal! You will be ripped off once they have your car! How this company is still trading is beyond belief!

Company itself is very poor. Prices do increase quickly on what they want you to have done. Oil isn't included in the major service, so be prepared to pay for that. Poor customer service - very rude. Waited nearly an hour on hold to speak to someone.

Do not use this company ever, the day my car was supposed to be collected for a full service and MOT nobody collected the car between 8am and 10am as specified, I spent 70 minutes on hold to customer service and when they finally answered the lady was quite abrupt like it was my fault, she spoke to the garage who told her they tried to call me at 8.34am and I didn’t answer, no voicemail message or call back and I didn’t have a missed call, she then arranged for the car to be collected two days later by the same garage, I asked for a refund but was told I could not have one as it has been rescheduled within 48 hours. Today was the day my car was collected the man told me I would get calls throughout the day from service stop with updates and photos of any work that may need to be completed. It’s 6.15pm and I don’t have my car, can’t get through to service stop, I called the garage direct at 5pm and they said they can’t deal with me direct and I can’t have my car back tonight, no service work has been completed and the MOT failed on a tyre which apparently the garage informed service stop by sending photos and trying to contact their call centre waiting for over an hour on hold. The garage cannot give me any prices or complete any work until service stop contact me for authorisation and then contact the garage with the go ahead. The garage had no idea I have paid in full, they apologised and said they would keep my car safe overnight. So basically I have no idea where my car is, no work has been done, I don’t know when I am getting my car back, and customer service is impossible to get hold of....... please don’t use this company the prices aren’t cheaper and the hassle when it goes wrong is a nightmare.......

Booked my car for 1st service . The garage ,which was only 5mins drive from my house, was supposed to pick up the car between 8 and 10am. By 11am no one turned up. Kept me hanging on the phone for 30 mins.In the end I had to email to cancel .They offered me £25 discount off next booking.I would rather get my car serviced at the dealers.

Read Trustpilot reviews on the trustpilot site not on Service stop site as they have only picked good reviews. This company I have dealt with for 7 years and always been happy. I suspect a change of management or ownership as they are now truly awful. I pre paid for my service only to be told when they had my car that a further £54 was due for......Oil!!!! I've never heard of a service without oil so why not quote with that included. Dont book with these people until you have checked every bit of small print. They are not as inexpensive as they look. A recurring complaint is that both contact numbers are never answered. The star awarded is for the Garage who were worth more but this is a Service stop review otherwise minus 5 stars.

Firstly the garage they said they’d sent our car to had never received it. After spending two days on hold to find it, we were then quoted 3.5k to fix it. We went and got a second opinion and we’re quoted 450£. They are not to be trusted. Do not use them. They are total fraudsters.

Do not go anywhere near these bunch of cowboys had my car serviced with them said I needed new pads after 6000 miles and none existent oil leak can’t ring them don’t answer e mails absolute scam

I had recently moved to a new area. I thought I would use servicing stop to make life easier. Big mistake. I received a phone call mid afternoon to say my car needed a few things done. This would push the cost up by an extra £300. I now know they were lying and overcharging for the work they told me was a necessity. Please use a local garage not this bunch of scam artists

This place is a total joke, pick up time should have been between 8am - 10am no one even turned up to collect my car. I spent an hour trying to get hold of someone, no joy i even emailed and nothing. To be honest, after reading all the remarks I think I had a lucky escape.

I have been on hold today for over 30 mins twice - current call 37 mins and still no answer - appalling customer service 2 emails not answered including one to the MD. All I want to know is when will my car be collected!!!! Could this not be communicated by email this is personally driving me crazy booked this company to save me time and all they have done so far is waste my time

What went wrong you ask? EVERYTHING! What a joke of a company. Save yourselves time and energy and use a local, trustworthy garage. Google and review people and don't use Servicing Stop. Here's why. Friday, I go online and see a very competitive deal with Servicing Stop. I take full advantage of this and book my car in for collection on Monday. Brilliant! Sunday, I have a message and it's from Servicing Stop cancelling my booking on Monday and suggesting Wednesday. I message back and say I can't do that and cancel my booking. Tuesday, another message! Booking my car in for collection on Wednesday. I message back and cancel....again. They respond saying ok. Wednesday, a mechanic turns up and wants to take my car. I juggle my morning appointments and let him have the keys. Off he trots. Fifteen minutes later, he returns my car and tells me that it is "undriveable". I laugh but snatch the keys from his young hand. He tells me that Servicing Stop will contact me later on today. Obviously unnerved by my "undriveable" vehicle, I drive it to my regular garage and get them to check it out. They told me my car was fine and that they would book my car in for me in July (thank you Covid). Feeling relieved, I come home and wait for Servicing Stop to get back to me. They don't. Thursday, yet another message! This one is advising me that they will collect my car on Friday. I don't think so. I respond to the message and decline their kind offer. They were very prompt and Louie let me know that the message had been received by writing, "ok thanks for letting me know". Two hours later, Servicing Stop message me booking my car in for collection on Friday.......wait! What? I message, phone and email them telling them not tomorrow, not next week and definitely not next year. Email acknowledged, message received and phone call understood. Or was it? Friday, I shall be sat on my step waiting..........and if I see the mechanic.......I will be chasing that bugger off. You see, this is a scam. They tell you that your car needs work and a lot of it. They can't do it at the moment and then they will rebook. You panic and agree and then they will "do" work on your car and charge you over the odds for the pleasure. Please..... Don't fall for this. This company has been on Watchdog among others. Stay safe.

I've just been turned over, like a previous respondent. The initial cost for service doesn't include parts, which are then sold at an over inflated price. They'll hook you in with a cheap booking price and then amplify your costs to make their profit. Service = £111.50 but they then added Oil surcharge: £24 Brake fluid: £77 Antifreeze: £66 Pollen filter: £79.31 Fuel filter: £174.36 You're much better off organising your service with your local garage.
