What went wrong you ask? EVERYTHING! What a joke of a company. Save yourselves time and energy and use a local, trustworthy garage. Google and review people and don't use Servicing Stop. Here's why. Friday, I go online and see a very competitive deal with Servicing Stop. I take full advantage of this and book my car in for collection on Monday. Brilliant! Sunday, I have a message and it's from Servicing Stop cancelling my booking on Monday and suggesting Wednesday. I message back and say I can't do that and cancel my booking. Tuesday, another message! Booking my car in for collection on Wednesday. I message back and cancel....again. They respond saying ok. Wednesday, a mechanic turns up and wants to take my car. I juggle my morning appointments and let him have the keys. Off he trots. Fifteen minutes later, he returns my car and tells me that it is "undriveable". I laugh but snatch the keys from his young hand. He tells me that Servicing Stop will contact me later on today. Obviously unnerved by my "undriveable" vehicle, I drive it to my regular garage and get them to check it out. They told me my car was fine and that they would book my car in for me in July (thank you Covid). Feeling relieved, I come home and wait for Servicing Stop to get back to me. They don't. Thursday, yet another message! This one is advising me that they will collect my car on Friday. I don't think so. I respond to the message and decline their kind offer. They were very prompt and Louie let me know that the message had been received by writing, "ok thanks for letting me know". Two hours later, Servicing Stop message me booking my car in for collection on Friday.......wait! What? I message, phone and email them telling them not tomorrow, not next week and definitely not next year. Email acknowledged, message received and phone call understood. Or was it? Friday, I shall be sat on my step waiting..........and if I see the mechanic.......I will be chasing that bugger off. You see, this is a scam. They tell you that your car needs work and a lot of it. They can't do it at the moment and then they will rebook. You panic and agree and then they will "do" work on your car and charge you over the odds for the pleasure. Please..... Don't fall for this. This company has been on Watchdog among others. Stay safe.

I've just been turned over, like a previous respondent. The initial cost for service doesn't include parts, which are then sold at an over inflated price. They'll hook you in with a cheap booking price and then amplify your costs to make their profit. Service = £111.50 but they then added Oil surcharge: £24 Brake fluid: £77 Antifreeze: £66 Pollen filter: £79.31 Fuel filter: £174.36 You're much better off organising your service with your local garage.

I booked in for a MOT / Service they collected my vehicle and around 3hrs later I got a phone call telling I had several things wrong and my car would not pass the test. The male quoted several items that required repair I agreed for him to go ahead. He quoted several prices for the repairs and total price £800. I was required to pay this amount or he would not inform the garage to return my car. I have had a few old banners but it has never come to this amount. Last year I had my front and back brakes replaced to pass the MOT and it cost £250 plus £45 for the MOT that was fine.I am not impressed with this firm.

They did not service my car , did not stamp the log book. My car broke next day and they asked me to pay more to fix it. They double charged my account hoping I wouldn’t see it. I had to wait 1 hr to discuss this issue. Their customer service was rude. Scam !

First servicing stop cancelled two of my initial bookings, however I decided to give them one final go. The gentleman from the garage arrived on time, was polite and informative around the process. several hours later I received a call from servicing stop head office saying that my repair bill was going to come to £750! Don’t get me wrong I expected it to be a little over the £84.00 which was quoted, but no where near this amount. I explained to the gentleman that I couldn’t pay this figure, so he tried to sign me into a finance agreement. He then explained that I should arrange my own way home as it was unlikely that I would be getting my car back today, this is not ideal when I live in rural Norfolk. Thankfully the finance company did not accept the type of debit card I have, so I decided to shop around quickly for a cheaper quote. Long story short: I ended up paying servicing stop £129.00 for the service and low ash oil they had used. I then got the remaining work done for just over £300.00. The thing that got me was James’ (servicing stop employee) insistence on a fuel filter costing £199.99... the other garage fitted it for £67.00. When I called James back to explain that I did not want the work done, he was nothing but rude. He told me that I needed to pay for a recovery truck to collect the vehicle from the garage even though I did not know the address. I finally got the address out of him and after some googling, I managed to get in contact with the garage who were really helpful and returned the car to me. Do not use this company!

Shocking service and awful experience. They will overcharge you for any repair work. Go with a garage that you can trust yourself. So angry at myself for not reading reviews before! Absolutely ripped off, Stay away”

Don't deserve 1 star. This company should be shut down, absolute con artists. I was charged over £160 more than the actual garage bill of £320, if I had gone directly to the garage. I was also charged for work that hadn't been carried out. If it hadn't been for the honesty of the garage I would be none the wiser. Fortunately I am now and will not be using their supposed service again and recommend staying well clear of them.

Customer service is a joke I was left hanging for over 40mins when I was called it was on a withheld number. The price was double to what was agreed, no invoice or contact, eventually tracked down garage and after paying 240£ for my car to be released I’m still waiting it’s sat now and I’m told it will be mon now as they are closed. The worst ever don’t use Iv since seen loads of very bad reviews including a watchdog complaint saying the same as what happened to me.

Don’t use this company , cheap service offer gets you in , extras in small print , they charge for specialist oil when not necessary , any extra work they try and charge approximately 40-50 % over even main dealer prices . Nightmare to get hold off , no answer on phone , no replies to E-mails . Reporting to trading standards .

Don’t use Servicing Stop is my advice to anyone, they initially get you hooked with a cheap service offer which has hidden extras in the small print , they charge you extra for Specialist oil when the car dosen’t need it and won’t return your car unless you pay for it. They attempt to charge for any additional work at approximately 40% over what even a main dealer would charge and they are impossible to get hold off on the phone and do not respond to E-mails. So steer well away .

Awful customer service, overpriced and misleading sales advisers. The guy I dealt with was really condescending from the off, but also totally incompetent - yes one of those people. They took payment but didn't release the car for two days due to lack of staff in the accounts department to authorise it. Unfortunately, like most companies these days, the customer service experience is diabolical and results on lots of time sat on hold to get nowhere. Customer care doesn't exist. I used these for my last service a year ago and it was a seamless experience. This time however, it has been the complete opposite and looking into it a bit more the reviews seem to suggest this is a frequent occurrence these days. I would strongly advise anyone against using this company, just go direct to the garage and cut out this really poor middle man.

Do not use this company under any circumstances, I am reporting them to trading standards , they try to rip you off when any additional work needs doing , their service price has hidden extras in the small print and they charge extra for specialist Oil even when the car dosen’t need it. Impossible also to get hold of anyone either . They should not be allowed to remain in business, pass this to as many people as you can .

This outfit is the worst that you could deal with. All they are interested in is charging as much as possible and unfortunately they are dragging the garages they use into the stinking pit from which they inhabit. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY SHOULD RENAME THE OUTFIT NON SERVICING.
