Quick to take your money, quick to rip you off. I am reporting them to trading standards as what they do is conning people and getting every penny they can get. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID AS YOU WILL BE SCAMMED ASWEL. THIS IS THE HONEST TRUTH

Thought I’d found a bargain as they were only charging £150 for a full service and MOT and my old garage wanted £260. They were also using local garages so, as we were new to the area, we thought they’d know who the good ones were. However, the garage tried to charge me an extra £450 for work that they claimed needed doing but this came down to £300 when I complained (necessary work indeed?). Had to pay as they had my car but it still cost me 3 times what I was expecting to pay; won’t be using these cowboys again!

Fraudsters! Rang and told me my car had FAILED it's MOT which panicked me so agreed to the repair - quoted £279 for part. The garage doing the work rang me about a separate issue. They confirmed car HAD NOT failed so fraud. Also the part only cost £79 plus labour =£120! A mark up of over 120% No paperwork supplied for the repair either. Don't reply to my emails or phone calls! Reported to Trading Standards who weren't interested. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Full Service and Mot i paid £121,88 online with credit card.. Few Hours later I got a call saying your car tyre needs to be changed and its £99 + vat and full Service For £588.15. When I told him I usually change my Tyres for £59 He got Mad, and told me you need to make payment online,if not i will bring back your car with failed Mot and you can't use any other Mechanic for Mot. I will put it on the system. He was so Rude and Yelling on me to make pay..Plaese Don't ever use Servicing stop for your Cars.Go straight to a Mechanic work shop and get your Mot and Full Service done..Servicing Stop are Arrogant, Rude and they reap you off. When you call, they don't pick their calls, when they call you,they speak in a rude manner.. I regret using them for my car. Never Again. Tell your families and friends. DON'T USE SERVICING STOP. DON'T DON'T DON'T

Check reviews on reviews.co.uk as they are very accurate and not paid for Car was due in today for full service & MOT, hasn’t been picked up! Thank god I didn’t pay in advance! Won’t be using again. tried to call several time but no one answers the phone, sent 2 emails - no reply. No communication at all aside from a booking confirmation email with a time they would collect car. be wary when paying in advance for this,

Hi I booked my car service with Servicing Stop. Online prices looks very attractive. Once we book it they come promptly to take the car for service. At the end of the day before delivery of the vehicle, they will call us a read us a list of issues they think that our car has. Most of it I think is only to make more money out of us. If we don't accept to any of those they say that they have special type of oil for our vehicle and demand us to pay extra money for that. If challenged they don't give us the right replies & hang up the phone on us. Worst experience. Please don't get fooled by them. I don't recommend using them. Very disappointed. Narayan

Servicing Stop website looks legit but DODGY👎🏾 15Feb2021 I booked for Full Service + MOT paid in advance £133.37 (got £15 discount for paying advance) My car collected at 11:36am delayed 8-10 am collection... at 2:15pm I received a call - more jobs to be done costing me £566.55. I declined and told d man to just do d full service and MOT. The man was extremely rude when asked to repeat d jobs and costing. After that call my email was flooded with demands to pay £94.96 for my car to be returned. Phoned all d office numbers but unable to get through. Unable to talk to their customer service for hours, got no choice except pay their demand.. before 6pm my car was returned very dirty and muddy - No MOT Cert, NO stamp on car service record.... asked d driver he just answered “call office me no understand no speak english” whattttt ?!?!?! Since it’s impossible to get hold of anyone in their office, I sent them email.... as early as 7am of 16Feb21 I rcvd email from them, NOT a reply from my complaints BUT an email asking me to confirm my booking for service and mot for 31 JAN 2022!!!!!!!!!!! This company is very bad - out in d open ripping people’s money taking advantage of d lockdown.

Rip off merchants, quote you one price then invoice you for a higher price and then charge you more than the invoice price when it comes to paying. Steer clear of this cowboy firm

Avoid at all costs. Arranged for service last Friday 5th Feb and got last minute call that they couldn't do it. Rearranged for Friday 12th and despite all comms saying pickup will be between 8am - 10am, collection driver came at 11am. Had no further comms until about 3pm in afternoon when I got an email about recommended extra works. This is the scam part. Just check out these prices:- You have chosen to decline the following works: £92.40 Service Advisory Renew: Brake fluid £79.20 Service Advisory Check & Renew: Anti-freeze £102.61 Service Advisory Remove & Refit: Pollen filter £66.00 Service Advisory Perform: Fuel treatment and engine flush £188.72 Service Advisory Remove & Refit: Spark plugs £29.99 long life oil So obviously declined them all. A quick check online shows these prices to be exorbatant. Anyhow, I had paid for the service upfront, so waited for my car to be delivered before 6pm. From about 4:30 I was calling servicing stop, I was texting the collection driver because he left a number, I was calling the garage (Every Auto Ltd, Kearsley, Bolton). I was texting all evening and leaving voicemail. Nothing. It is now the weekend, and I still can't contact anybody. There website says in the very rare occurance there is a delay with returning your vehicle, we will contact you. How is it possible they can take your car, promise a time to return and then just keep it, with no comms. People have jobs to go to, appointments to keep and for this scam company to just take your car and then not communicate when they decide to keep it is almost criminal. Should have trusted my instincts. Avoid, avoid, avoid. And be wary of the website reviews. They get an average 5 out of 5 on there. Don't be a victim, don't get suckered in by the low initial service price. Don't go near them.

I thought I was booking my Renault service with Renault direct but I inadvertently booked through a servicing stop link much to my dismay. The car was collected at 10am and I was told by the mechanic who collected my car to avoid this company at all costs and he spent 10 mins bad mouthing them and said they will probably ring you and tell you you have to pay £30 extra for specialist engine oil which you don't need amongst other things and if I didn't pay my car wouldn't be released. I told him if he thought that about them he shouldn't be using them. Needless to say I was stressing all day but received no phone call. My car was returned at 6pm and the mechanic had been shopping in my car as he unloaded his shopping. I questioned him about this but he didn't admit to it. I won't be using servicing stop again or the garage who carried out the service.

Appalling! They took my car for a service and MOT at 9am never kept me informed as they stated. I rang at 4:45pm to find why I had not yet received my car back and was informed of suggested additional jobs that were recommended at a cost of almost £200. I said I only wanted work done that was necessary. Ended up paying an extra £30 for oil. I was told the vehicle would be returned by 6pm. I said I needed my car as soon as possible. I had disabled people to care for. 6:40pm I received an email from them which had an advised jobs list totalling almost £700. 24hrs later no contact and no car.

**!! ABSOLUTE CON - NOT A GARAGE BUT SALES OFFICE **!! This is an absolute and utter con. £170 for a 'full service' but won't stamp it as a full service unless I pay ANOTHER £350 in extra's. I was warned before paying these guys that I would get the 'sales call' to advise me that I need to have multiple further works before they would stamp the service book. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! THEY WILL BE NEXT ON ROGUE TRADERS!!

BBC RIP OFF BRITAIN Submitted all my evidence to BBC rip off Britain. Everybody should do this and they will be forced to actually start bettering customer service and other potential customers will be aware of the mess. 1273496

ABSOLUTE RIP OFF MERCANTS, offered £15. for up front payment of initial service and M.O.T £116.25, which was not given, then charged for engine flush petrol treatment and brake service and advance payment for next service of £39. on a nissan Micra that had only done 503 miles since last service, total cost 421.18. Do not be sucked in by these con merchants

DO NOT USE - please use a local garage instead. The communication with this service is awful. I tried calling them 4 times over 3 days. Each time I was on hold for over an hour. The advertised low prices immediately jump up once they have your car. A local garage will have a conversation with you. This service won't. If you do one thing today - AVOID servicingstop.

Car not returned the same day. Garage says system at their end saying I hadn't paid despite having proof I'd paid in advance and also the online system saying payment had been made so I couldn't make one. Left without car for the following day to transport two small kids o childcare and also run my dog walking business as they'd gone home for the day and so couldn't be sorted.

I booked an MOT and full service from Servicing stop and was quoted a keen price but the main reason for booking with them was that they collected and returned the car after the job was done due to us not being able to go out through covid. this part was ok till i had a phone call that I had a phone call to say my car had failed the MOT and I needed around £750s worth of work done to pass the MOT so with the repair, service, extras and MOT with VAT was going to come to around £1150. So l asked them not to go ahead with the repair and return my Car -On telling them I didnt want the repair doing they cut me off (you cannot get in touch with them by phone no matter how long you try for) I paid for my service and MOT and them I could' get my car back as they say I had'nt paid them (I did pay them a day eirlier) Igot my car back a day later. I took my car to an independant garage and asked there opinion on the repairs that needed doing and they said there was absolutly nothing wrong with the car.-- l then had an independent MOT and the garage said it passed with flying colours.. I urge anyone not to use Servicingstop You will be ripped off If they have the chance.

Idea is very good but poor communication and only interested in upselling all sorts of items bumping up the price beyond a joke. Best to go direct again, will not be using them again.

After pre paying for a service and MOT our daughters car was collected on time. All good so far, but the chap who collected it was keen to give us the name of his garage and to disassociate himself from SS. A couple of hours later we got a call from SS - the caller was clearly reading from a script and read off a whole load of extras that he said we should pay for. He slipped up by saying that the car needed new windscreen wipers - we had new ones fitted just a few months ago and the car has been sitting on our drive during successive lockdowns so we knew he was talking nonsense. After he had finished reeling off a list that my mental arithmetic got to a total of about £250, I asked him what if any of it was essential. It was clear none of it was, he was just trying to up sell and rip us off. We only used them because of the collection service which we wanted during Covid restrictions but we would never ever use them again. Steer clear and use a local garage.
