Regular communication during the day. Some minor confusion around what was being completed, over and above the service, but it didn't matter as those items in question were completed at no additional cost!

Great service pick up and drop off at home or work this is the third hassle free time I've used them and looking forward to having all my vehicles using there mot service.

Service and MOT was arranged, my vehicle was picked up by a mechanic, the mechanic did MOT and servicing, and the requested price was a lot higher than advertised. My vehicle was returned same day by the mechanic i his overalls, with a slip of paper, no professional paperwork, no receipts as you would with a reputable garage, the car has started producing a noise which was not there before, so now have an appointment to have a vehicle health check. I do not think the concept on Dragons Den, has been used to its potential, therefore I will be using a garage I know i can trust, where work carried out is provident, and any replacement parts receipted and the old displayed. I will not be using this service again, I don't want rehimbursing, as I have paid for a valuable lesson !!!

I was slightly apprehensive of using this type of service but have only positive things to say. booking was easy even though I had to change the date. The collection of my car was on time and returned earlier than expected. No fuss or stress.

I was lead to believe in the morning that my car had passed it's MOT and they had a service to do. And then was asked if I would like to pay a deposit towards my next MOT and service which would save me 70% on future work. I greed and was invoiced immediately and asked to pay ASAP so that they could then get my car back to me. In the afternoon I received a phone call telling me my car had failed the MOT and it would cost a further£160 to sort the problem out. They deny telling me it had passed and when I told them what I thought of them they said they were preoared to bring my car back and I could take it elsewhere. The deposit I paid for future work is money down the drain because I will never employ them again. I should have taken heed of all the awful reviews.

Failed to take account of my requests when handing over the car. Returned with a failed MOT because they did not put air in the tyres (as I had asked them to do when the car was collected), the rear number plate (new plate was in the boot and just needed sticking on as I had pointed out when the car was collected), lights were not aligned and they did not adjust them to get it through an MOT. In addition I had asked for a full valet and was happy to pay extra but this was not done. Customer services were not interested in sorting out any issues just wanted to take payment asap. I certainly wont be using this service again.

We were really pleased with what Servicing Stop did for us. They took our car for an MOt and had it back in a few hours with a pass. Really nice people to talk to as well

Great value for money and convenient. It is the second year I have my car MOT's with Servicing Stop. It was convenient for the car to be picked up at my home and dropped off at times to suit me. The first MOT bulbs needed replacing and they called me and asked I wanted them to replace them and the cost of the replacement bulbs and putting them in was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Servicing Stop and will be using them next year.

Amazing service that takes all the stress out of MOT's. Very competitive prices for MOT and possible repairs that may be needed. I will for sure be using this company in future!

DON'T USE! Having used this company for a number of years, including other family vehicles and my husbands company vans. I have lost all faith in them. The warning was there a few years ago when there was a big mess and inconvenience with my daughters booking. This time having given the the benefit of the doubt last year, when they contacted me to advise they could not fulfil my booking in a few days, which had been booked for a couple of months and wanted to re-book for another date, when I had taken the day off work and cancelled all plans involved in using my car. They did manage to find a garage that could complete the service, although a long distance from where I lived. This year a different garage to the one on the pre-booked date many months ago. Originally one in Oldham, but on the day one from Stockport. Something tells me this company is either overbooking, through greed, or just incompetent these days. But worse still upon returning my vehicle the engineer, show me a picture on his phone, telling me this is what was found in my oil tray. In it is a rag. I ask if the large oil stain is wet or dry, he advises wet and that you can see where the oil is leaking from. I asked him to send the image to my phone and after he left I rang Servicing Stop. I advised my car has been returned with an oil leak, and also asked why when they rang with the recommends, nearly £200 worth, was the leak not mentioned and only now on my doorstep whilst handing the keys over! Incidentlly, this all happened on the 6/4/17. It took until the 4.5.17 to get my vehicle back in for investigative work,. Mind you initially they tried to wash their hands of it, telling me the work was not under warranty. Upon it's return after the investigations, I was advised there was no oil leak. So now there's suddenly no leak, or was there never a leak. The garage assured me there was no leak and could offer no explanation why the mechanic who brought my vehicle back told me there was. To re-assure me they said I could call in with my car in a few months and they would check it again. I received a better customer service from them than Servicing Stop. I was advised by the manager due to all the trouble, inconvenience and my own time spent trying to resolve this, hours on the phone to them, that she would put this forward for compensation and I expected a call or some form of communication from them, which to today 13/7/2017 I hadn't received, therefore I made a call, it would seem that the manager tried her best not to speak to me, advising that they were waiting for a report and also suggesting that I was going to get a second opinion. This I didn't need as the garage offered me the facility to take my car back for checking in a few months. The top and bottom of this is the company look for excuse after excuse. My offer of compensation was a free MOT worth £19 when you add it to a service, what an appalling compensation offer. I advised I had already paid them £25 on the day of my service in April to secure a discount in 2018 on my next service. Joanne the manager offered to refund this back as a gesture, I advised this is not compensation or a gesture, as this is my money that Servicing Stop have been earning interest on for the last 4 months. Needless to say after many years as a loyal customer I WON'T BE USING THEM AGAIN!

They took my car for MOT from job place and brought back there in 4 hours. I saved my time and money, because they're cheap as well

It's obvious from reading the reviews carefully that the 5 star ones are written by Servicing Stop. The same people are writing 5 star reviews with the same grammar, same spelling mistakes, and the use of the word "definitely"!. Beware!

Absolute shambles. Avoid at all costs! The garage they used didn't fit new brake pads properly. Every time they arrange for a different garage to pick up the car to fix the problem no one shows up. This has been going on for months now! I have never experienced anything like it.

Had a confirmed booking which they then cancelled...The day before! Will never bother usING them again. Had made arrangements and completely messed up my whole week. Confirmed obviously doesn't mean confirmed in their book.

I booked to have my car serviced on 28 June, received confirmation and, later, an e-mail reminder that it would be picked up between 8 and 10am. Nobody came...I phoned Servicing Stop and was told I HAD CANCELLED THE MOT!...After some arguments I was asked if I wished to rebook, which I did for Monday 10 July. Again, I received a reminder shortly before reminding me that my car would be picked up between 08.00 and 10.00. AGAIN, NOBODY CAME. When I phoned Servicing Stop, a rather disinterested young (at least, she sounded young) woman told me that there had been a 'technical' problem and asked whether I wanted to cancel!...I said that I wanted the car serviced BEFORE going away 6 days later but was told that could not be done. She sounded totally blasée and flatly refused to investigate whether a service could be arranged in time after all. I then e-mailed to express my extreme dissatisfaction and asked if I could have my car serviced on 24 or 25 July (the road tax expires 31 July according to the DVLA), asking for an urgent response. More than 24 hours later I have heard nothing, not even an acknowledgement. This is, without any doubt, the most appalling 'service' ever but I shall have to investigate whether it is worth suing for breach of contract as the many bad reviews on this website make me think Servicing Stop may well go out of business. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE!
