online was quoted £114 for full service on car 2 years old (15,000 miles) when the Servicing Stop agent telephoned me told me recommendations that were required that totaled up to £263.00. I checked online what manufacturer recommended at 2 year service recommendations they were try to sell me were not required until car was 3 years old or 72,000 miles! Spoke to local garage that was servicing my car and they said they didn't make the recommendation and queried it when the work instruction schedule was sent through! Luckily I managed to intercept and contacted the local garage to cancel the unnecessary work/costs and got the bill amended before paying so my car could be released!! Please be very careful and make sure you know what is due at your service as Servicing Stop will add on extras that are not required. The local garage where service was carried out were very helpful, next time I will be going directly to them as the were very reliable and honest. I should have read reviews before booking and also they have been exposed on Watch Dog this July. Please be careful!!

My collection was cancelled 3 times in the span of 3 days, without previous warning (meaning AT the time of collection itself or even later). I work in a hospital, with patients and I had to cancel multiple appointments last minute, because they kept me hanging on. I contacted Service Stop in order to AVOID this and have my car taken and given back at a reasonable time, so I could attend my work duties. The company never apologised or offered me a discount for the inconvenience caused and when I called them to express my disappointment and ask for a minimum of service discount (more for the lack of respect they showed than anything else, really), they said they escalated the matter and would be in touch quickly. They never got back to me and it's been many days. Shocking service. I would NOT advice using them. EVER. Just look somewhere else, if you want efficiency and professionalism. The only reason I am rating it 2stars and not one is the kindness and politeness showed by the last driver my car was assigned to. He was the only reason they did not score a 1 star for me.

Unless you want to feel completely ripped off or let down....choose some other method of having your car serviced. Low prices = guaranteed additional work. Thankfully, the agent failed to collect my car! But seriously, AVOID. This must be about the most inept service provider I have ever encountered.

""DO NOT USE!! Paid for an oil service on my BMW - resulted in my car being on the back of a tow truck and in with BMW for 5 days. BMW carried out a review and it turned out that the oil was not changed correctly as was extremely gloopy for a recent service, the wrong oil filter was used and the oil had been overfilled - was lucky apparently not to cause serious damage to my car. BMW produced a full report which was given to Servicing Stop who have refused to reimburse my repair costs with BMW. I thought that they looked great from some reviews but it was a massive mistake and ended up costing me a lot more in the long run! Contact for a complaint is awful too - only via email and they take days to come back to you. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY AWAY!!

Booked a vehicle for Servicing, Break pads rear, Break pads and disc front. Got called by the team after service check wanting 3 things - all non essential to be done : 1. Engine carbon flush, 2. Break oil change 3. Change of bonnet Latch assembly. I have had the car since 2006. Bonnet latch works fine but inside release latch is not well fixed. After doing the brakes I get a call regarding MOT guess what? It fails on 2 counts: 1 Latch ( that has been fine) 2. Head lights low set. Payments even with debit card get charged... Bunch of lowlife thieves. Please avoid at all costs. Lesson learnt.

They are rip off agents offering a low price service to 'hook' you with the intention to fleece you for un-necessary work afterwards. Engine flush is a good one or liquid changes! Ask yourself one question : Why do they state your car will be withheld for failure to pay? So that they can push the hard sell & use this as a threat if you resist.Then "your car is dangerous" bla bla bla 'so we cant release it' Rubbish!! They dont even have mechanics but relay what they think needs doing from their London base. They exploit us (the public) & 'heavy' the garages who sub-contract the work. One word........COWBOYS beware Update: Trustpilot approached me to verify i was a customer for which i have sent a copy of my invoice to them - no problem.However it would appear that SS are very active is trying to remove reviews that show them for what they are. So look at all the trustpilot reviews that have been questioned, removed & ask WHY? Advice: Pay by Credit Card for the protection this offers.

Servicing Stop collected my car from work on time, carried out an MOT and delivered the car in time for me to go home! Fantastic service and I would highly recommend it!

£78.26 for a full service sounds too good to be true right? Obviously they sting you with recommended extras and advisories which I am still uncertain of the severity of them today, even after contacting them by email following the service with no reply. Interestingly this is the first time I have taken the car anywhere other than the main dealership which carried out a full service less than 12 months ago. If you think this service will save you money, think again. My final quote of recommended work came to £874.26: Full Service - £78.26 Brake Fluid – £78 Anti Freeze – £66 Engine Flush – £54 Light Bulb – £12 Wishbone replacement left/right - £152 x 2 = £304 Front Brake Pads = £145 Rear Brake Pads = £137 These prices are considerably more than the quoted prices for the individual repairs stated on their website. I'll be taking the car elsewhere to get a second opinion, better value for money and better service.

A service and NOT doubled in price. after the watchdog programme I wrote and asked for an explanation and breakdown of costs. they simply ignored my e mails which includes a request for their registered head office. will simply vote with my feet and never use the robbing sods again

STAY AWAY HIDDEN CHARGES AFTER COLLECTING THE CAR - Servicing Stop are scammers and ripoffs. I had my full service quoted for £108 online. They did not confirm that my car was going to be picked up tomorrow. Got a phone call from gentleman saying he was coming to pick my car up in the morning. I had to ring their office and ask if my car was booked and they confirmed it was. Got another phone call the car needed a pollen filter price of £76. Altogether the price was £176 for a full service(1st service as car is 1 year old). Ford had quoted me £165 plus courtesy car and the car washed. Please stay away from Servicing Stop because you end up paying more with their hidden. charges. I would not recommend Servicing Stop. Customer service is really bad.

From start to finish it was terrible - I was left for hours waiting for my car to be picked up - servicing stop never once proactively told me about any delays despite the garage communicating this to them. My car was not delivered back on the agreed date - despite me being very dear that I need by a specific date to go on holiday - no one phoned to tell me there was a delay in parts arriving. It was a truly awful experience during which I wasted hours on the phone calling service stop. Never again. My advice would be to go directly to a garage in future. .

Please make note that the most used rating is one star, this is for a reason, avoid this company they charge you for work that hasn't been completed - my car came back with different back seats with no explanation, tried complaining they blocked me on social media and deleted all of my comments, false promises made - offered £40 goodwill on a bill around £600 even though half of the money paid was for work that hadn't been done!

Supposedly failed MOT saying front and rear discs , pads required replacing told them not to carry out any additional work and to return my car after the service. Took it to a local garage for a second opinion hey ho passed with flying colours Brake discs and pads within acceptable limits. Advisories said i needed an Air con regas this was done 3 weeks prior , all in all i reckon i saved myself a small fortune tried to advise that i needed an engine flush and fuel flush load of rubbish. Definitely never use again.

Initial quote from service stop was about £80. Thought that was great so booked both of our cars in at the same time thinking it would be £160. They don't tell you there will be extra costs of: *£20 charge for picking the car up and returning it *£20 oil change *£20 filter change * £65 to renew brake fluid which I don't think needed doing * £55 to renew anti freeze In total the service for the two cars went from costing what I thought would be £160 to over £600. Avoid this company and find a local garage you can trust.

Damaged by car and now have not returned it! I was informed by Servicing Stop that they would pick my car up on Monday 14th August 2017 to fix a legacy issue that was a direct result of a full service I booked with them last year. The person turned up an hour late and I was informed that my car would be returned the following day and I would receive a call detailing the work carried out. No call, no email, no communication from Servicing Stop despite be asking for information from them. My car has not been returned and all I get from Servicing Stop is radio silence. Their service has not got any better; they continue to offer a poor sub standard service and use incompetent people. Looks like I will need to take them to a small claims court as my car has been massively damaged by them (verified by an external reputable garage). Check them out on BBC's Rogue Traders REF: 606465

I booked full service and m o t with servicing stop because the concept of pick up and drop off with the work complete same day is a good idea and was happy to pay for this. The car was picked up with no problem ,then the next contact I had was at 3 in the afternoon outlining all the work it needed to for the service and to pass the m o t. The price was quite high in my opinion but I immediately agreed because it was already mid afternoon and I wanted the car back with m o t so I could drive it legally. At 4 o clock I received a call from the mechanic saying the work couldn't be completed on the day so it would now have to be ready the following day. They offered to return the car and pick up in the morning or they said I could leave it overnight. I didn't see the point in bringing it back just to pick up again in the morning so I told them to keep hold of it overnight and carry out out the work the following day. I then had a call from servicing stop demanding payment. This is before the work had been completed. I wasn't going to pay until the work was complete so they received no payment. The car was eventually returned with work complete at 7 in the evening the following day. There was no hint of any kind of apology from servicing stop just another demand for payment before the car was returned. I had to email several times to get any response. I appreciate things can go wrong and I accept sometimes things happen whereby the service advertised does fail. However, a company needs to make a gesture of apology, for example a refund of some of the final fee. In the case of servicing stop, I paid for a same day service which didn't happen. So in effect they have taken my money for a service they didn't provide. I have communicated with their 'After care Executive' who refuses to accept any responsibility. I've asked for MD s details. No luck. Apparently a Manager is going to contact me. Not happened. I m not after a big refund ,just a gesture from SS to say, 'sorry' we didn't perform this time. The bill came to quite a few 100. I suggested a 10 pc discount for not providing the service and a demand for payment, but they are not interested. Bad service all round.

I arranged a service about a month ago and that was the last I heard from them until this morning when a guy arrived to collect my car! I had no idea which garage was going to collect it or even if anyone was going to come! Service stop said they would contact me to say which garage would be servicing my car which I thought was a good idea seeing as I've had a few bad experiences with local garages. As I said, I've had no contact from them since making the booking so I wasn't going to let my car go at all. If they can't communicate by simple email, I wasn't going to trust them to be honest about a service!

I booked my car for service & MOT. But i also put other issues i want to be fixed in the OTHER INFO section while submitting my request online. The car was MOT & serviced alright, but nobody told me that all the other issues I put on OTHER INFO will not be attended to. I paid £1k for an '02 car based on the believe all the issues i raised will be fixed. At no point in time did anyone call me to tell me the issues I raised will not be fixed or if it can be fixed, how much it will cost. If i know the issues will not be fixed, i wont bother spending £1k on an '02 car. Would have scrapped it and gone to buy another car. When I called to make a complain, a lady called Joanna categorically told me I should have told whoever called me about the issues i raised and i replied her whats the point of taking my time to put it in writing and send it to them if i will still have to start explaining it to them on phone? I told her the onus is on them to tell me weather they can fix the issues or not since i have taken my time to write it down and send it to them. She told me I should not have assumed because this is not a game of assumptions (really? What kind of customer service is that!). To make matters worse, about 10days after the service, my car gear gave up on the motor way and its costing me a fortune to fix. This was part of the issue i mentioned in OTHER INFO that was totally ignored by these people. If someone had told me the gear had problem, i would have scrapped the car instead of spending £1k on it and now another £300 to fix the gear. I will never recommend these people to anyone as they have a communication problem between themselves and their designated garages and too uptight to accept their mistake!
