Poor service day before service and MOT contacted me could not provide a garage to collect my car wanted me to drive car 25 miles then leave car, could not wait with it, no local garages all dropped of from this company, I wonder why? Previous experience cost was always much higher than initial quote As of writing this they have still not refunded deposit of 25 paid to them last year Use this service at your own risk

Was I scammed? This is my opinion and creative writing to express my opinion. The idea is fantastic - book online, then your car is picked up from your residence, serviced, brought back to your residence and all organised online all for the very low price of £145. I have experienced the pitfalls. You are lured into using this company by the promise of a fantastic price. You reserve your appointment day and receive a confirmation reiterating that fabulous price. But it goes downhill from this point on. Your vehicle is picked up but you are not allowed to know where it goes - hint - it is not Servicing Stop but any one of who knows how many service shops operating under a different name - it might be John Doe’s car repair, and the reason John Doe uses Servicing Stop is because he has such a bad reputation for dodgy service locally the only way business comes in is via a company like Servicing Stop. Anyway, in my case, my essentially brand new van went to an “unknown to me” repair shop, I receive a call in the afternoon the cost of my service will be £800 pounds and not that tantalising £145 promised in the beginning - why? Because of course x y and z needed replacing. Then the pressure cooker tactics on the phone which made me fearful to say no - fearful in that if I said no I was afraid they would intentionally damage my vehicle. The extra things they claimed needed being done - changing of break pads on 2 wheels. All I wanted was the standard annual service. Break pads that an official dealer reported were ages away from needing replacement 6 months prior. My advice - avoid like the plague. The idea is good but they offer no realistic prospect of remedy if things go wrong, your entirely in the dark about who does the service, and once they have your vehicle they got you by the balls as they damn well know it would be very hard for you to say no once they hit you with a ridiculous fee on the phone and remember, they basically have your vehicle for ransom and could theoretically damage it. Do not be fooled by that low initial quote as they clearly will “find” things that have to be fixed and for some reason at 4 times the cost the official dealer would charge and have the power to change what might be perfectly fine into something needing fixing.

This company is run by scammers. In fact possibly a one man scammer who deceives people including the elderly out of their money. They scammed my elderly father in-law out of over £600. But they've picked on the wrong person. I'm have a lot of legal experience and I intend to deal with them. Anyone deceived by this company please contact me by Googling "Complaint Clinic facebook". Click the Facebook page and send me a message.

Did not turn up. Called the customer service number after being on hold for 8 minutes was connected to a lady who lets just say probably should not be in customer service. No real answer just will get someone to look in to it. Thanks for nothing. The

Used them even after seeing their bad reviews, big mistake! As a freelancer, I can't take time off work to get servicing and MOT done, and SS appeared to be really cheap. ADVICE: use only for servicing, and do not get any of the numerous 'faults' done by SS, get them checked and done at another garage. I only drive 3K a year, they gave me a £500+ bill with all these recommendations, wording it almost like as if they were MOT failures. When I sieve through the actual MOT failures, I got this down to £267. The garage is not allowed to drive your car back to you until the failures are fixed. They charged £63 to adjust 2 screws because my beam was too low, no parts were required. they charged £62 for a set of wipers, when I could get OEM ones from Eurocarparts for £24 and fit them in over a minute. Big time rip offs, take your car to the dealers/stealers, I bet they're cheaper. I couldn't fault the garage, they are tied into a 5 year contract with SS, which they won't renew in 2 years. SS is giving them a bad name, however, I don't usually have any MOT cautions, due to my low mileage, and having dealers do the servicing before the MOT, so I suspect SS gets them to nit pick faults that may or may not exist. They only do an oil/air filter change and oil change for a major service, no plugs or anything else, so I wonder what their interim/minor service covers?

Do you enjoy being ripped off!!! Why are you here? This is a pyramid sales site, with NO garages of their own! This company sell you a service, then go to the nearest garage that will do their work, and then just put on a fee for themselves!!!!! Go to a garage, there are loads of garages out there that will do exactly what this company offers ie; pick your car up and prop if off, and they won’t hike up the price!!! How do I know all of this? because I have been one of them garages that do their work and can’t sit by and watch them rip people off............. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

1 star is being nice to them they deverse nothing. I knew my bulb needed doing and was about to do it but the car collector showed up and said they will do it free or charge using my bulbs I gave them. That didn't happen and they think 42 pounds is acceptable lol. I took it in for a mot and service and only thing that needed doing was brake pads. They told me that it needed brake fluid engine flush a fuel and oil filter to get past the mot. When I found out this wasn't true I rang them and didn't get though to them till an hour later and said the work was finished when I said about cancelling it. They said they won't start the work till I pay and they lied there. The total work was 680 so I was fuming especially when I found out it wasn't needed especially 42 pounds for bulbs when I had my own bulbs and they lied to me about fitting them. Don't use them I would rather scrap my car than ever use them again

Booked weeks in advance and arranged time off work only to be told at the last minute that there was a problem and they couldn't service my car. Offered another date but said they couldn't collect. After reading these reviews it looks like I had a lucky escape!

Stay away, as a garage they hold your money, make customers pay 4 times as much and promise to pay garage who are left in the lurch for 5 weeks pending money. Daylight robbery and they keep getting away with it.

Fraudsters. They remove negative reviews from their site to hid the fact that they are crooks

Poor quality repairs and poor communication. Cheap parts were used, the wipers flew off as soon as I turned them on, and they are impossible to get a hold of you, have to wait for them to contact you - pathetic. I guess you get what you pay for.

I am writing this review as a garage who has carried out work for Servicing Stop rather than a customer. I would advise any garage not to do work for this company, as at present they owe us just short of £7000. Our debt collections company were already very familiar with this company! Emails, phone calls go unanswered they aren't even bothered by debt collector visits! For customers of Servicing Stop - I would advise anyone to call round their local garages as they will probably find their servicing costs are just as good, and offer courtesy vehicles/collection and delivery services for a customers convenience.

Booked my car for MOT for collection...... they sent me an email confirming the day and time of collection. However..... when it can to collect my car nobody turned up, I rang them but with no joy to start with..... when I finally got hold of someone they said they could not support the booking and said someone tried to contact me which was a lie!!!!!! You know what they say about a price and service that is to good to be true.... well this is a prime example. My advise is to stay well away

The initial price quoted for the service was reasonable. I've only ever used main dealers so thought on this occasion I'd use an alternative - servicing stop. I received a call at dinner time suggesting I should have the brake fluid changed (£76.98+VAT, Antifreeze £65.48+VAT & engine flush £54.85+VAT). Stupidly, I agreed to the additional work. Subsequently, I looked at the garage's website and realised had I booked direct I would have made a substantial saving (eg Brake Fluid - £30). I expected a small premium but this is a disgrace. I WILL NEVER USE SERVICING STOP AGAIN - If you're reading this and haven't used them please don't - learn from my mistake!!!

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Booked my car for a full service and MOT today (11/06/2019). The arrangement was the garage would collect the vehicle and deliver it back at my workplace after completing the job. They collected the vehicle from my workplace in the morning, the person who collected the vehicle inspected it prior to driving it to their garage which is approx. 8miles away from my workplace. A couple of hours later, I got a phone call from Servicing Stop to say they wanted nearly £700 for replacing a couple of tyres, side light bulbs and head lamp adjustment to pass MOT. I told them that I was happy to pay for the service and MOT inspection as initially agreed and I will take the vehicle for repair somewhere else. They told me that I will have to collect the vehicle myself from the garage instead since it has failed MOT. I explained to them that my car has got a valid MOT certificate until July 2019. Now Servicing Stop is telling me that they cannot authorise driving the vehicle back to me because one of the tyres is won beyond limit. What a joke! At the time of collection, the person who collected the vehicle used a depth gauge to measure the tyre tread and was happy to drive it 8miles to the garage. I can’t believe that just 8miles can change the tread depth so sudden. I am now stuck in work without a vehicle, I have to pick my children from nursery and after school club but no car. What a mess!
