Service 4 service are Dishonest crooks taking advantage of vulnerable people SCAMMERS PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. I first contacted service 4 service in relation to my vw golf gt at beginning of June.. My car was booked in with a garage this company uses in yeovil somerset N G Autos. I was told my turbo had failed and would need replacing. I was quoted 780 pounds by N G Autos. Only to receive a call from service 4 service saying this wasn't the case, from which they raised the price by 200 pounds to a total of 980... I was told by agent from service 4 service that the garage should not even be quoting me a price... I reluctantly agreed to have the work take place. I was told during a conversation with the mechanic from n g autos that they hate dealing with service 4 service as they are constantly messed around by this company and also when it comes to payments. That they don't particularly like doing work for them... He told me also that my car has been thoroughly checked over and should i have turbo replaced and Work was carried out, that my car would be in sound working order.. I agreed on this basis to go ahead and have work done... I collected my car and within two days of having my car back the same faults and issues where occurring with my golf loud air noise whenever my car would accelerate.. I them contacted service 4 service to explain car is still having problems.. The agent whom I contacted was very rude and unhelpful initially. It was then arranged for my car to go back to the garage who carried out the work. I was later contacted by service for service and told that I would be liable to pay another 280 for a hose that attaches to my turbo. The agent who contacted me was very rude.. After long discussions back aand forth service 4 service agreed to meet the cost of this. On the grounds that I would remove my original rewiew. I was contacted by guy who owns the company Julian. I explained my displeasure of the service I had received what I had been told by the mechanic about my car being sound after he replaced the turbo.. Work was again carried out in relation to my turbo. And pipes where apparently replaced... I was again without my car or means of getting around for another week which brings it upto 2 weeks in total I had lost use of my vehicle.. I have a 10 year old disabled son who depends upon this vehicle for medical reasons and also reasons relating to hes disability.. My car was collected on the Tuesday. I asked the mechanic if I could see the pipe and parts that had been replaced and he told me he was unable to show me this as he no longer possessed parts which he'd supposedly replaced on my car. Within 5 days of having my car back. I was driving home with my disabled son and new born 8 week old baby in the car on a duel carriageway. My car began to lose power completely aand was showing signs that something wasn't quite right with the turbo still. My speed reduced from 60 mph to below 30 at a fast pace which led to car behind me having to break heavily. This was extremely dangerous being I had children in my car.. I struggled to get my car home. The faults my car was now showing Wass even worse than before garage had carried out any work on my car its basically undrivable now. The next morning, I contacted the garage who had done the work on my car, the guy I spoke with was very rude. I explained what N had happened again and he told me what do I want him to do about it and hung up the phone on me. I then contacted service 4 service to explain what had just occurred and happened.. It was arranged for me to take my car down for 12 o clock to the n g autos who had just hung up on me. I am very angry with how I've been treated and disregard as a customer who has paid a lot of money, the time I've been without my car has also cost me lots of money financially and caused myself and family much unneeded stress and worry. I took my car down for 12 o clock as agreed with service 4 service. Again when I arrived at n g autos guy Wass rude to me in the presence of my son. I left my car with them and returned in a hour.. I then entered n g autos. A different guy from who I had been dealing with came to counter and said the new fault issue has nott been caused by work they have carried out. Didn't give me a explanation as to what is wrong with my car or what faults where showing price of repair or anything, He told me they want nothing more to do with my vehicle and actually grinned at me and shut the door in my face. I truly couldn't believe it. I am now left over a thousand pounds out of pocket I have suffered badly financially as a result of being without my vehicle for aa number of weeks. Andd the car is in a far worse state than before I contacted service 4 service... I contacted service 4 service and spoke with agent I had spoken to earlier and he told me they are not willing to do no more with my car also. So now I am left financially hit without my car which I've paid a absolute fortune to put right. DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES CROOKS

Booked my first service which should have cost me £200 maximum, ended up charging me £290 inc VAT which is £100 more than my Peugeot dealership. I wont ever make that mistake again. Charged me £89.80 plus VAT to change a pollen filter which should have been part of a full service package. Absolutely disgusting.

Booked and paid for a service with car to be collected on a Friday morning but was advised by text on Thursday evening that they couldn't fulfill the booking and they had rescheduled it for following Tuesday which I replied was not suitable. I couldn't get through on phone all day to request a refund of £97.97 but eventually a Jason Howell replied to email saying refund had been raised but could take up to 14 days. 21 days later still no refund. Avoid this utter shower at all costs, they used to be reasonable but my feeling now is that they are in some of trouble especially seeing all the negative reviews, many in my situation.

This review is basically to stop anyone who reads it using this company. Service stop is a scam bag company Booked and paid £134 for a full service and MOT, received an email stating that the car would be picked up between 8 am and 10 am on the 10th - this was a no show. Telephoned and they picked up after 45 mins of ringing, girl blamed the "bad" garage and rebooked for the next day. I noticed this time the email confirmation said I may get a £25 charge for "special oils" - the only special oils I pay for are on the hands of my sports therapist! So next day same thing - no show! I tried to cancel via the email and noticed that I cannot cancel on the same day of work! At 2 pm a guy rang to say the garage was on its way, again blaming the garage. At 5 pm I get a call saying that the car had failed its MOT on the exhaust bracket and required a new exhaust. So by now I had read the many horrifying reviews and told the agent that I wanted my car back as was my right to take it to an independent garage and get the repairs done. At this point, he became belligerent telling me I couldn't have my car as they had all gone home and that I needed to pay for special oils. told him there would be not one more penny coming to him and ended the call. As I had read that Service stop charge triple what the garage estimate and they tell the garages to do the work even if you say you won't pay. So I telephoned the garage to state that I did not give permission for Service stop to initiate work on my behalf. The next day I telephoned the Garage (only had their name from the pick-up man) and demanded my car back. I asked had it been serviced and they said it had an oil change?? The upshot is I took my car to an independent garage who said the exhaust is fine, maybe next year, and the bracket should have been an advisory, not a fail (that part is on the garage) and I have an oil change which is not even a partial service. get what you pay for! Please don't use them they are scam artists and bullies who use the same pattern with each sale!! If you have already paid tell them you want your car back to do your own repairs!! I have reported Service stop to both the trading standards and watchdog, please do the same

"Servicing Stop" have not replied to emails. They also have no control over the garages they use. Very poor service have left us with a useless vehicle was worth 10k now 0 thanks to incompetent garages. DO not use, avoid like the pandemic.

I booked my car for 12 Aug got confirmation email, i also did a prepayment for service as pickup was due next morning, however i kept on waiting and noone turned up. noone picked up phone on customer care number, rang twice for more than an hour on different dates. noone is replying on email either, it been 5 days, mot sure what i’ll do.

I booked online for service and MOT on 21st July. Then I cancel it on the same day. I received confirmation email said refund take 14 days. After 14 days I have not received my refund. I try to contact them by phone but it take very long time waiting and nobody answer my call. Finally, I send email to them, Jason Howell replied said he put refund through straight away and it could take 5 days. But 10 days over, I have not received the refund. I paid by credit card, I will ask the bank to get my refund tomorrow.

On 28 July I booked a service and MOT for my car with Servicing Stop using their web site to take place on Friday, 7 August. I paid for my service online and got a confirmation email, confirming the date and the service requirements. Then on Thursday, 6 August I got a text from Servicing Stop stating that due to unforeseen circumstances, they need to reschedule the service to Monday 10 August. When nobody arrived by 10am on Monday, I called Servicing Stop and spoke to Kayla. She informed me that my service has not yet been scheduled! She promised to try to get the car serviced on the same day. If not possible, she will schedule it for Thursday, 13 August. Kayla promised to confirm this by email. Unfortunately no email. On 13 August I finally cancelled my service and and requested a refund. Note that each call kept me waiting for anywhere between 28 minutes and 42 minutes before I managed to speak to a human. I can not recommend servicing stop due to their inability to arrange a service and honest communication with their customers

Firstly I would like to say I cannot fault the garage used, but Servicing Stop on the other hand I would give negative stars if possible. Impossible to get hold of over the phone, on hold for over half an hour to be then be told you have one dedicated adviser who is always busy and doesn't call back when they say they will. Incorrect information given by adviser. Extremely over-inflated prices for additional work to be done - the service price & mot price is cheap for a reason, they rob you on the extra work. Did not get car back within 24hrs and not given notice for this as requested so had to take unpaid day off work. Turns out to be a very expensive and stressful service. Will not use again, and would advise everyone to avoid like the plague!!!

Absolute con job. "Cant release car until you've paid 1.5k" was what my elderly relative was told. Then when pushed by a younger relative and after 3 hours of phone calls not being answered, shouted at and hung up on it turned out actually the only thing the MOT required was £70. 'Free collection service' don't trust. The drivers car looked like it was part of a banger racing team. As everyone else seems to say. "Special Oil" was of course required. Car returned 24 hours late with rear bumper damage. Staff were clearly grabbed from the bottom of the barrel.

Please do not use this company! They will take everything you have, mot and service £850.00! There are many hidden charges and unfortunately if you are not knowledgeable about pricing and miss small print they have you. The customer was an elderly lady, they are not fussy about who they fleece! She is left distraught, a simple service turned into a nitemare, the car was gone for two days, didn't know where it was, couldn't contact anyone as the phone numbers never get answered then was unable to get her car until she paid the over priced bill. Do not use these people!

I booked my car to have a service and MOT for the 4th of August, which you confirmed with me. Late in the evening of the 3rd I received A call from yourselves, saying that somehow the garage was overbooked, and you would need to re-schedule. My service and MOT were re-booked for today, and confirmed by email, stating that my car would be picked up Between 8 & 10am....10:12...still no pick up. I ring the one and only number available for yourselves... I was on the phone for 1hr, 11 mins and 39 seconds in total. By the time my call was actually answered I was on my way to the garage address to deliver the car as time was getting on. The garage were called by your customer service person, they allegedly said they would send someone out now to pick it up, this would have been about 11.23am. I found the garage, but they were unable to bring me back to work. They have now arranged to pick the car up at 13.15hrs, and return it much nearer to 5pm, Which at least is within the return time you quote in your email. A few points for you to consider:- 1) Your booking system is failing miserably, otherwise it would have shown no availability BEFORE you confirmed to me it was booked. 2) Garages used by you, should be fully aware of the time scales you advise customers of, the garage I was booked in to didn’t know that at all!! 3) Customers should be constantly updated as to why a delay, or non pick up is occurring. 4) Your call answering time frame is beyond appalling, staff it properly or you will lose business hand over fist. 5) Assuming all is sorted today, I will post this e-mail as part of my review, I will advise all my customers of your poor customer service and systems. 6) I have lost appointments, due to your late cancellations and non pick ups. 7) I have had to take time off work to drive to the garage in the hope of getting my service done. Lost income! 8) I will never, I mean NEVER, use your company again. In just under 40 years of driving, your company is the worst I have encountered!!

To be honest you spend all that money to find out that the garage they hire doesn't actually do all the checks. On top of that my car stopped working two days after MOT and"servicing" they did. When contacted the garage they said to contact Servicing Stop and when I finally managed to get to someone they bounced it back to the garage. Loop hole. The 0800 number is a waste of time, I have spent three days trying to get to someone and constantly being put on hold - I usually dropped after 20 minutes. Forget about them answering emails. Total scam!

Add money on with out me knowing till got bill , told I needed discs and pads all round but there was nothing wrong with old one ( car was checked at a garage just before it want in for service and was ok then ) Got car back and bolts missing on engine and they denied that they took off but oil filter under it so did they do service or not , You phone up and takes up to 45min to get through then tell you phone a new number !!!!! Also left old oil filter on my seat if it was mine

SCAM, SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason this company has a star from me is so I can leave a review. They tried charging me over £900 for my mot for a £100 problem (got it done through another company and that's what they charged me). Cost me £325 just to get my car back with no work done, tried calling the garage they used for the work but they said they wouldn`t release my car without these conmen say so as I wasn't the customer...Avoid !!! Reported to trading standards, apparently, they have been reported numerous time and they are in the process of shutting them down

My vauxhall zafira servicing was done from Servicing stop and they did not provide me the invoice with full detail of what engine oil used and its life time warranty could not be renewed because of this. At that time I had also paid 25 pounds for the next servicing, which they said there will be no price increase and if I would like to cancel I can cancel and get refund anytime. Later I had to cancel it because I have changed the car and I requested for refund, it is now over one year and I have not yet received it back. In e-mail and over the phone they promised they will refund it. However it is not received back and I have send many e-mails, there is no response. Not received the refund. Stay away from this company.

Booked my service, cracking price at £94! Oh no, wait, need to add VAT on first. Make it £106.99. Picked my car up (late), took it off to do the service, called me within an hour to say it was perfect except they needed to charge for oil surcharge (usually included in a service price), brake fluid and a change of pollen filter. Total price now £369. Car expected back between 4-6 as per guarantee. 6pm comes. 6pm goes. Try contact the company - call centre closed. Try contact the garage doing the work - closed for the day. Well I can kiss my car goodbye - called 101 to report it as stolen. Next morning - managed to get through to someone who informed me that the bloke who was supposed to bring my car back had gone off sick. Apparently this company resides in the 17th century, as they made no effort to communicate this to me. The person on the phone reassured me that my car would be returned by 10am. 10am comes. 10am goes. Get on the blower again - "your car will be with you by 10.30am" 10.30am comes. 10.30am goes. No car. Stepdad comes to pick me up to take me to the garage to collect the car myself (if indeed, it was actually there). Halfway there, my husband rings and informs me that my car has arrived home. The relief! But... wait... no. Still more incompetence. It is very lucky that the halfwit who brought my car home actually encountered my husband, and not some other random person on the street, as he made no effort to check my husband's identity, and just chucked the keys at him and legged it.

Servicing Stop failed to collect My car. I confirmed service but after 1hr 6mins on the phone I was told I had not confirmed the collection driver - it was never made clear to me I had to! Now have not received my refund! Plus I have read enough reviews to worry me about extra hidden charges! I’m ‘out’ and never again!

Cancelled service and mot twice. Long delays getting through to customer service. Unable to explain why cancelling. No updates or information. Would question the reliability of service offered. Mot now overdue. Will look for alternative...
