Booked three times for service & MOT because each time the garage didn't pick up my car. Trying to get phone support typically meant waiting on the phone for over half an hour to an hour before getting an operator. Even the operator couldn't get through to the garage! Emails originally answered quickly then not at all as re-bookings failed. Wasted almost two weeks before I finally got through on phone to cancel the service. Such a waste of time.

Total scam! Robbers! Aggressive ! Greedy is a understatement! Inflate the price ( for changing a spare part which failed the mot) insanely! Take advantage of novice who has little knowledge of car mechanics. Stay clear of this company.

Had I read these reviews I certainly would not have used Servicing Stop. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A total scam. I wouldn't even give them a TOY Car to service.

Firstly we started on a positive note, car picked up by garage as arranged. Then it all went downhill from there. Car was booked in for an MOT and service so left it all day before contacting the company, bad mistake. I phoned 3 times and each time was put in a queue, after 20 minutes each time i gave up. So i wrote an email asking what the status of my car was. Only received a generic email back, by then it wad about 4.45 so i decided to locate the garage and ring them. The garage was so helpful and honest, car had been ready since early afternoon, but couldnt bring my car back until it had been released from Service Stop. By the time we had discussed cars issues Service Stop was closed, so no car. I phoned first thing the following morning and once again was out into a queue. After 30mins i hung up, and sent an email asking for my car to be released as i had a hospital appointment that afternoon and as i am in the high vulnerable group i needed my car. To cut a long story short and after 7 emails (MINE) the company still hadn't t replied. My patiences is now gone, hospital appointment cancelled and no car, I forwarded another email threating legal action and Trading Standards surprise surprise my car was released within half an hour. I do have some work to be carried out on my car but they're not urgent. I can only have praise for the garage who looked at my car. As for Servicing Stop i wouldnt touch them with a barge pole, stay clear of them. Absolutely no customer service what so ever.

BEWILDERINGLY SHOCKING, STEER CLEAR Booked a service and MOT online, great price but you do get what you pay for. The car did fail the MOT on the tyres, inside wall scrubbed which isn't their fault at all, they did though try to hold the car until i did this, wouldn’t call me with updates when he said, or even in the same 2-hour slot, he wouldn't confirm where it was after i had not received the email he said had been sent confirming these details, absolutely unreal way to run a company. They quoted £115 for mid-range tyres, i can get fully fitted premium tyres as is on the car for £85 from asda tyres, he genuinely expected me to get it done, arguing that “while we have it you might as well get it done” this was after he couldn’t confirm what tyres he was quoting for, also other inflated items he tried to force me to get done. The lad on the phone, Josh was rude, condescending, argumentative and ridiculously unhelpful, he didn't communicate with me so they had the car my day longer than required which caused massive inconvenience. There is a word for him but to be polite would say that he is far from a good representative of that or any company. Reading reviews online though and it seems they do not really give a buggery what people think, service is consistently poor. I had to chase them for the invoice to be changed after they didn't even show up or call when they failed to show up for the car originally, more inconvenience but they did offer a credit on the account as a gesture of goodwill, acceptable. As i say, you get what you pay for and this is not a reasonable alternative to the high street garage. Pay a few pound extra and get it done by a proper company, not a cowboy outfit.

Update on review from 4 days ago. I prepaid £125.14 for a service and MOT which was due to be carried out on 24th July. Car not picked up. Tried many times to contact customer service but nobody was answering phones and received only automated email replies. Jason Howell rang me on Friday 31st July. I asked for a refund but when he was reluctant to discuss this I was persuaded to rebook the car in for today. I have been let down again. Nobody has arrived to collect the car. I rang the garage it was booked in with and they said that they no longer work with Servicing Stop as they have not been paid by them for months. I am reporting the matter to Trading Standards today and I would advise everybody else who has had a similar experience to do the same. If they get many complaints then they may investigate the company again. Looks like I might have to put it down to experience but I hope this might stop somebody else from losing their money.

They delayed the original booked date without asking me to arrange a mutually convenient time. Then they didn't turn up on the date they had re-arranged it for. I had pre-paid and now they won't even answer the phone to answer my questions about when the service they have charged for will actually be provided. Very much to be avoided.

Booked a service and MOT for collection between 8-10 AM Monday morning , nobody turned up the whole day or even called or email to say they weren't coming, terrible company.

Its a scam don’t get ripped off I looked at trust pilot giving it a five star rating?more like a five star con . They never turned up to collect my car for its full service and MOT Even though I had paid in full . They didn’t answer the phone all my emails and never got my refund I am going to tell my bank not to let it customers use Service stop services as it is a big scam

Scammers and VERY VERY bad service. If you read this please don’t consider going with them. They have charged us 100 pounds in advance for MOT and then called to add extra expenses of 580 pounds for work we didn’t authorise, we explicitly wrote to them an email to not proceed with work but they wouldn’t reply and wouldn’t call the garage to stop the work, we lost a lot of money as it was impossible to get our car back otherwise, they hang up on us while trying to explain that we don’t want to be charged for work we didn’t even ask them to do! Horrible experience. The garage that performed the work tried to help us, they at least did a great job, we just wished we went straight to them and saved 300-400pounds.

I booked my car in for a service and MOT for 24th July. I prepaid for this service. Nobody came to collect the car and I have not been able to contact the company about a refund. I have received only automated emails and they never answer the phone. Have not received a refund yet. Do not use this company.

James Starrs Full service for just bought car... After the (lack of) servicing of my car, no inspection check list was provided, considering they had my car two and a half days, they should have had time to do so. I had another inspection done elsewhere, which showed... Two badly worn tyres, one bulged on inside wall. worn out front brake pads, water in diesel filter, None of which was mentioned. The air and pollen filters clearly hadn't been checked, ( both covered in undisturbed dirt ) The only thing that had been done was an oil change. Complained to them and was basically called a liar. I wouldn't even have a skateboard seviced by this cowboy lot.

Utterly dreadful. 12.00 and the car should have been collected by 10.00. Have spent over an hour trying to get through to someone. Now find their system works by not showing up on the day then not allowing you to cancel because they failed to show up so they take your money but provide no service.

Absolutely the worst customer service. No one came to collect my car and it took 40 minutes waiting on the phone for my call to be answered by Servicing Stop. They said the garage allocated couldn't collect today and to rebook. Not a chance was I wasting another day waiting for no one. I asked why no one had called to tell me and she just said it was "unfortunate". They wouldn't tell me which garage it was so I could avoid them when booking directly with garages in my area. Do not use!

What exactly have i paid you for? I paid £119.57 for a service . The non dealer backstreet garage then charged me a further £230.76 total £350.33. I could have gone anywhere and got a cheaper service. Feeling mugged.

I made a booking for collecting my car today. I've been waiting from 8am till 12pm and no one show up. I start calling them to see what's going on, took me 85 minutes on the line trying to reach one person who's working there actually. Somebidy fisnlly pick it up and they told me that apparently somebody been in my house but I didn't answer door. Well my dog would start getting mad if somebody actually went down stairs, and also I sat near me window looking outside every 3-5 minutes but I'd dint see anybody parking in front of my car. So apparently its a nice scam, I tell them to get my refund which gonna take 10 working days. Will see if that's right.

Massive Scam. Cancelled my service three times. I paid upfront now they are refusing refund. Escalated this to credit card company. Still refusing to pay. Please don’t use them. Mark this up to experience. Anybody from Dragons Den who reads this, you should be ashamed that you are supporting scams like this. Took money fast nothing else is fast

It is a scam Trap you with 60% discount If anything says minus star I can give it to SERVICE STOP😢 I am not sure why the trading standards not doing anything about this all over UK scam company I AM GOING TO COMPLAINT TO THEM VERY SOON I had to pay upfront online entire fee I could not reach any of them by phone Few emails received regarding services and MOT etc Nearby garage collected the car from me on the particular day In the same afternoon received a call from the head office asking me to pay loads of money for unnecessary works I was panicking that I will not be getting my car back unless I pay the sum More or less it is a ransom and I did not have choice Most of the good reviews are fake for this company I was promised to deliver the car before 6 o clock but arrived at 6.45 They replied my concerns and Hayley is the person was dealing my case Very partial supporting ONLY her colleague and NOT a customer like me , when I am right and will not refund he extra amount paid I suggest you guys to spread the bad reputation of SERVICE STOP company in all social media including all whats app groups of yours I am going to report to concern authorities very soon about this scam company Very DODGY, EXPENSIVE unprofessional and unreliable people PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR YOUR CAR SERVICES OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR CAR

This is a company that exists purely to rip off customers. I had one of the worst customer experiences of my life. They charged me over £900 for work that was proven by an independent mechanic to have not been done. They are lying, con artists. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. lies, lies lies ... A totally inept service, fraudulent, and vile customer services. Just terrible.
