If you don't want to read all the details of my comment: Basically I paid upfront for an MOT and service yet servicing stop didn't turn up to collect and service my car on 3 separate occasions. No note to let me know for 2 of the times, I was just left hanging. I had to go elsewhere to get my car done, am yet to receive a refund or even just note saying it is in processing nearly 2 weeks after first requesting it. I've also noted that on all the occasions I've had to call the servicing stop number there was a wait of 20+ mins on hold before getting through to the team, not ideal. ------ Details of my experience: I received a message asking to change my original date (a Monday) to the day after my booking as they couldn't do it "due to unforseen circumstances", said yes (we are in turbulent times at the mo, it's understandable), but then they didn't turn up on the Tuesday. I'd got up early in order to be ready for 8... and no-one came between 8-9. My mob had bad signal and I got an automated text at 9:30 to say a mobile had called me at 8:55. Unfortunately because the signal was bad the call hadn't gone through to me at the time of calling. They hadn't left a voicemail. I tried calling back the number, and calling the servicing stop number twice (waiting on hold for a long while each time) but not able to get through to anyone. Received a call around 12 on tues where a guy explained that a call at 8:55 was to confirm I wanted to go ahead with the booking and because they hadn't reached me they'd had to cancel the job with the garage. I didn't want to be argumentative on the phone as the guy probably isn't in charge of company processes, but that reasoning didn't make sense. If I had email confirmation that someone was picking up my car between 8-9 then if someone called me at 8:55 surely they'd have to be sat outside my house in order to be on time if I did want it done!? Plus... I'd already paid so it should be a cert that it's happening! Managed to rebook for the Friday, then no-one turned up then either "due to unforseen circumstances". Let me just highlight on both Tuesday and Friday there was no message to let me know no-one was coming. It took me chasing SS to find out what was going on. To top it all off, on the Friday when I called SS to find out what was going on I requested a refund of the money I'd paid upfront. Although I confirmed on the phone that I'd get an email that day confirming the refund was being processed, nothing came through. Just called today and have been told the action had been noted but there was an error on their system meaning the refund was held up, fingers crossed it'll be actioned promptly by the accounts team.

I feel so stupid - I was lured in with relatively cheap prices and the convenience of them collecting the car and dropping it off again. Never again! I ended up paying £710!! Their prices are ridiculous. For example, they replaced my front tyre with a budget tyre that costs around £60 online - retail prices, not wholesale. I paid £182.88 for it. Last year I paid a company £215 to change and fit two new Bridgestone tyres. Seriously, Service Stop is an absolute rip off, don’t do it to yourself. I’ve raised a complaint

This was a very stressful experience. Sounds good on paper but in theory, ripped off. First nobody turned up to collect my car. It took me until lunch time to get through to service stop. Was informed that my car would be collected within the hour which as no surprise no one showed. I made another phone call and was told they would use another garage the following day. So that was a day off work wasted. The next day someone from the original garage turned up to collect my car so obviously weren't informed. Finally my car was collected from a helpful garage. Early afternoon I received a phone call from service stop to inform me that I required a new tyre. If I didn't pay then it wouldn't pass the MOT; therefore, I had to pay for an overpriced budget tyre. Paying was another farce. Couldn't connect to the link so another 45 minute phone call was made. By this time I was panicking as I required my car for work. The call handler said my phone couldn't connect to the link. My daughter tried with her phone and was told it was her phone that also couldn't connect. I was cheekily told that I should use a laptop. As no surprise this never worked either. In the end I had to be given their bank details to transfer the money. Absolute SCAM. Cannot fault the second garage, very professional. Something that should have taken a couple of hours ended up taking 2 days of me stuck in the house constantly on the phone.

I book my car in for service and took a day off work. Had lots of messages to pay in advance, thank God I didn't. Was told my car would be picked up between 8 and 10sm . Got up for 7.30 and waited and waited.... No show, couldn't get through to service stop until lunch time. They contacted the garage who said they couldn't do it today. What a shambles. Will not use these again, service stop wasn't even bothered that I was upset

The one star is there as its the lowest it goes. Just read the comment below and cancel anything you have with Servicestop The company was started by two brothers Oliver and Toby Richmond based in Enfield, you can see them on Dragons Den receiving £100k from Deborah Meaden who was clearly mugged. I would like to of given them benefit of the doubt by saying they may have started out with good intentions but even their staff have left terrible reviews about working for them, saying that management lie and expected their staff to lie to customers by advising and persuading to pay for unnecessary work, even on Dragons Den the brothers say that they started the company as few people have time to research and check reviews for servicing, I guess that's their main business drive. Check the entries at companies house for Service stop limited https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06558606/officer Don't get angry get even, in what ever form you preferer. I will :)

Massive SCAM - STEER CLEAR. What looked like a good value service turned out to be nearly £800. They’re very efficient at taking your money but impossible to get hold off. The car broke down a week after they returned it. Didn’t stamp the service book correctly. Didn’t even return my car til Monday (went in Friday morning) I was waiting for it to be returned Friday evening but heard nothing and couldn’t get hold of anyone so was car-less all weekend. Oh I wish I’d seen the reviews on here first!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The service and MOT prices are already extremely high. However on top of this I got a call saying the MOT had passed but I needed additional work as my braking pads and other things needed doing... I’m only 19 which the mechanic understood and I believe was why he took complete advantage of this. I agreed even though I was unsure but called my mum straight away after getting an email confirming the work to be done which was very non-essential. She couldn’t believe the price for such non-essential work. The company just want your money and do not help advise what’s best for you. When I tried to call the mechanic back immediately around 1 minute later I kept being put onto answer phone. I rang this around 15 times... no answer. I then try to call servicing stop, no response for an hour, I emailed them too and said would take 2 days to reply... eventually the 3rd time they answered after 50 minutes... After speaking to the mechanic I had to call around Harlow garages as servicing stop didn’t tell me specifically which garage they sent my car to. Eventually I found the right one. The man on reception was rude, he told me he couldn’t speak to the mechanic personally so couldn’t help me even though they’re in the same garage? He told me only 1/3 things were already done on my car and I told him to stop and he said he couldn’t... I called him back to demand him to stop working on my car and then he said he’d already finish it all so I’d have to pay the whole bill. THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE REVIEWS- never use!!!

The car wasn't picked up and my phone calls were not answered. I made a BIG mistake off paying upfront and it looks like money thrown away. Even if they amend it how can you trust the work to be done has been done. If the booking company is so shabby what piece of mind do you have with the rest of the service. Also no e-mails have been replied to I would advise you stay away.

Booked online and accepted offer for additional discount if paid in advance. Money taken from credit card. Received several emails from Servicingstop between booking and service telling me I had to pay before getting my car back even though I’d paid in advance. I emailed their customer service 5 times with no response to resolve this. They sent an email to say they’d pick the car up between 8-10am, the driver turned up to collect the car at 10:25 without any explanation or apology for being late. The car he turned up in and left at my property had a rear brake-light not working (not a confidence instilling advert for a car mechanic)! The driver turned up in the middle of a COVID-19 pandemic with no mask or gloves. The contactless handover of the car promised on the website was non-existent as he walked straight up to me and asked for me to pass him the keys. He got in my car and drove off, no attempt to sanitise was taken. Received a draft invoice in the afternoon for over £700 with no indication that the pre-payment had been taken or allowed for in the calculation. I was also told that most of the work was essential (it wasn’t) and I’d also been charged for an oil change I did not agree to and hence refused to pay for. The garage told me ‘we always do it and no-one else ever complains’ After discussion the bill was actually about £230 - quite a difference. The car was returned a few hours later, same driver, same lack of PPE. He drove my car without wearing gloves, he left the plastic sheet on the driver seat, he again walked up and handed the keys over directly with no mask on. I had advised the garage by phone earlier that the brake light on their delivery car had a faulty brake light, the driver just drove it off regardless even knowing this is unsafe. I think that about sums up my experience of Servicingstop! I had to sanitise the car myself as it was obvious it had not been done by the garage. Oh, and still no answer to any of the emails sent to their customer service department.

Don’t touch them with a barge pole. They don’t answer telephone calls. They dont answer emails. It’s all really odd as a set up. A text arrives out of nowhere telling you that they will pick up your car. And then when it comes to telling you the charges they call you, at no other point could io talk with them and then when you call them you just get music, They dont answer emails. So i paid £118 for my service and MOT. They wanted a further £1000 from me for proposed work on the car. Some of it necessary some of it not, all of it over priced. I didnt take them up on it but to get my car back i had to pay a further £28 for special oil whatever that is. It felt like i couldn’t get my car back unless i paid the extra money. . Total and utter rip off. They act shady and their service is poor. The actual garage was local and they were very nice but Servicing stop as middlemen are a total and utter rip off. Honestly go nowhere near them or if you want an equivalent service get a £1000 and flush it down the toilet.

Booked my vehicle in last week which was confirmed but no one is able to tell me where they are taking my vehicle. No reference number is forwarded after booking. Unable to get them on the phone unless you hold for 30mins+ . All this made me question how legitimate they are. Did some checking and it seems they have a poor reputation for billing unnecessary or worse work not done. Faith lost, customer lost. Will rebook and pay more with my local guy, which is what I shouldve done in the first place.
