Offer £24 MOT, which is £25 including £1 compulsory debit card fee, car fails on "Headlamp Alignment which they charge £42 to "adjust", true cost e.g. At Kwikfit £11. They are a disgrace and absolute rip-off merchants. Avoid like the plague!!

Ripped off. Apparently Hyundai cars need a special type of oil that only Hyundai engines require?

I've just had my car dropped back after repairs, costing nearly £550. The man who dropped the car off questioned how much I had paid and even said himself that I should go direct to another garage next time as the repairs they had done wouldn't have cost that much. It is not filling me with confidence that what I was told would be done, has even been carried out?! Feeling very ripped off and wouldn't touch this service ever again. Utterly disgusting.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is why: I handed my car over to them for a service. I live in Putney. Service was fine. Two weeks later I get a congestion charge fine for the time they had my car. Bit annoying but I assume if I get in touch then they'll pay the fine and all will be sorted. I tried to get in touch with customer services for over an hour, and eventually got hold of someone who said they'd get back to me. They didn't. The next day I got in touch again and asked to speak to a manager. They confirmed that the fine had now been paid. Three weeks later I get a final demand for payment. I again call up, don't get through. Leave Facebook, tweets and even message the marketing director on LinkedIn because we have mutual contacts. He gets back in touch and says it will get dealt with the next day as it's a Friday night by now. The next day I get a call confirming the fine has now been paid. I ask for an email confirming this and get nothing. I send an email to then then asking for confirmation. Still get nothing back. I then go away on holiday and four weeks later I have now just had a county court request through for the unpaid fine. Tried to call again. No luck... WTF?!?!? Never use them.

I had confirmation that my car would be collected before 9:00, but the driver didn't arrive until 10:10. I then had confirmation that I would have my car back by 4:30, when I finish work, but I had to wait around for 45 minutes. Trying to get through to customer services was often difficult and time consuming, and twice I resorted to phoning the garage directly. I ended up having to pay for work that I decided I didn't want done, because customer services insisted it had to be 'my' advisor who dealt with my request to change the instruction to the garage (immediately after I'd spoken to him, probably before he'd even had time to contact the garage); he didn't phone me back and by the time I got hold of him it was too late. The whole thing took up a lot of my day and caused huge amounts of frustration. Was also charged ridiculous prices for oil and brake fluid, making a £70 service £218. That didn't include cleaning the car. I won't be using this service again.

Delivered the car myself to save time I was quoted £90 for service and £19 for MOT .Went for a coffee to kill a bit of time, my phone rang as I was walking back to garage to be informed by someone from service stop that my engine should be flushed before the new oil was put in and my brake fluid needs changing. £65 for brake fluid and £45 to have the engine flushed which is way over the odds for that work as I got into the garage premises my phone went again the same person on the phone informing me that my oil was a special oil for that engine and they were going to charge me another £24. Like other people I have read in these evaluations they seem to pick on faults that you cannot prove , I will never use this service again and I would advise anyone who was thinking of doing so to think again and not get involved with these people, I still have my doubts the work was done but you have to take there word for it and pay up or you don't get your car keys back.

Avoid. My car failed its MOT I was charged an excessive amount to fix everything. Over £300 for brake pads. Good idea in principle but quite a money grabbing company clearly run by sales people. Just go to your local garage

I have now had my car serviced with servicing stop 3 times (a vw once and a Volvo twice). Each time professional seeming emails were sent and the car was picked up and dropped off as promised. On all occasions the cost was quoted as around £100 but the "advisories" have taken the bill up to between £350 and £550 every time. Strangely enough the advisories each time were brake fluid and power steering fluid, things very difficult to tell if they have been done and things that should last more than 15000 miles. The most recent occasion i knew myself brake pads neeeded changing before servicing stop took the car, however this was not advised, instead I was told brake fluid and power steering fluid again. I have lost all faith in this company, would actively describe them as a scam and will be referring a complaint to trading standards.

My advice ignore this firm like the plague. Car picked up as promised, original price £117 for mot and full service. The alarm bells should have been ringing then on reflection seem to good to be true. Car picked up at 10am had phone call 12 30pm car passed mot but needed special oil extra charge for renewing and fitting air filter and various other items, which took the final bill to £340 and if I wanted sparking plugs changed [they said was special] the extra cost would wait for it £110 . Car delivered back at 2-30pm when you consider that the garage is 30min drive away they completed the all the work in about 3hrs mmmmm. The car was not even valeted inside or out, is it possible to take the wheels off without leaving smudges they did it. It's quicker to tick boxes than do the job. A very disappointed customer who feels he has been HAD. My advice stay away from this firm and go to your local garage. Allan Gough

Simply appalling service. Car was collected two hours late. Garage phoned at 1530 stating car needed new brake pads. Frankly, as it has been regularly serviced, I disbelieved this, however I paid the fee. A very brusque mechanic stated that the car would be delivered at 1000 the following day. At 1035, I phoned the help line to find out where my car was? The story was that work would start at 0900 this morning. This was not what was agreed the night before. 1100 now-still no call or car!

Don't touch servicing stop with a barge pole. Collected by car at 10am as requested and never returned at 5pm as promised. Still waiting the following day for my car to be returned. Now having to call the police and report as stolen. DON'T TRUST THESE UNINSURED COWBOYS AS THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE YOUR CAR IS AND COULD SELL OVERSEAS BEFORE YOU KNOW IT!

The full service I ordered was not carried out and put my life in danger for the 4 months following the service until I was fortunate enough to stumble across the brake fault. The garage who Servicing Stop took my vehicle were contracted to carry out a full service and MOT on my vehicle but did not remove the wheels to check brake condition, the service tick sheet confirmed this. I only found this out at a later date when I came to sell the car the brakes were completely seized up after being on the drive for just 2 weeks. It cost me £400 to repair the car and the garage (who I chose) who carried out the repair said this should have been picked up if the service was carried out correctly and at the time it would have been highly unlikely that the car would have even passed its MOT some 4 months after the original service. The garage who carried out the repair informed me that the brakes were 'in the worst condition we have ever seen for a car of its age'. Servicing Stop's elected garage put my life in danger when not properly carrying out the service that I paid for in the correct manor. Imagine if the brakes had seized when was travelling down the M1? I was even annoyed by Servicing Stop at the time of the service as they recommended work be carried out on the car which was completely unnecessary and grossly overpriced. This work for an 'engine flush' was valued at £44 from Servicing Stop however when I contacted the garage direct they offer the engine flush for just £6. Furthermore when I was called about paying them I told the sales adviser I did not want to pay the £25 up front deposit on my next service. He did not inform me that all boxes on the payment screen needed to be un-ticked so I was unfairly charged the £25 extra. Admittedly when I rang up to complain they offered to refund the money as a different adviser told me 'lots of people have been caught out by this'. It seems a very sneaky way of them making extra money. Furthermore there is no option to pay the fee and have your car released unless you pay a surcharge for using your card to pay online. The online link did not say anywhere that there was any option to pay your bill without this additional charge... again something I spoke about when complaining and was advised you can call up and make a bank transfer to avoid the charge. It is clear to me that they need to make amendments to their website as I can imagine many people have felt the same frustration as I have. Finally I found it very annoying that you have to fill in the review of Servicing Stop on their website before you are allowed to progress to the payment screen. It was only after this website review stage that things started to go wrong.... hence all their false fantastic reviews! Just to round the experience off I have been waiting 14 days for a refund for the Service (which I had to battle for) which was supposed to be with me withing 3-5 days. I implore you, please do not use this company!

We were very disappointed about the provided MOT. Our car was collected in the morning. Same day afternoon somebody (from the MOT center) phoned me and told that "car needs to replace 3(!!!) lamps and it will cost for us £25.92 extra. I was overwhelmed because a day before all lights on the car were very accurate checked by me and my wife. We have 3 cars and we know how it's important to check all things (especially lamps that is very simple) and it was done. I would accept one lamp failure but 3!!! We are not blind and we are not so stupid to get some difficulties with lams checking! When I tried to discuss about that I was informed "You have to pay or your car will not pass the MOT test". I was very reluctant to agree to their conditions but I really didn't have much choice. And my wife asked me do not argue because she needed to drive that car (its hers car) next morning. I provided the payment and got car and MOT certificate same day. I would say "It looked like "Blackmail and extortion". I would like to provide my feedback to prevent another people about that "excellent service".
