I accidentally booked this company to service my car .I had googled Kwik Fit to book a service and heading the list of sites was one showing discounted service . Thinking this was a Kwik Fit offer I booked it and was surprised when the booking was confirmed but at a depot 24 miles away . I subsequently realised my error after my car had been returned and I looked again on google to see that Service Stop are paying a premium to top the list when people are looking for Kwik Fit. What did I think of the service? I will not comment on the work I paid for as I was not present when it was being done . However I will comment on two factors that annoyed me. The on board computer on my car has shown an average mpg of 46.6 over 8700 miles and this figure has not changed this year. When the car was returned the computer showed the mpg as 46.4. This means either the car consumed two gallons of petrol during the 42 miles pick up and return or one gallon of petrol was taken out. I was advised by phone of the status of the service and the work required . The items required were minor things such as pollen filter and an oil flush but nevertheless adding in excess of £200 to the bill. When the car was returned there was no detail of the additional work done let alone a breakdown of the cost and no receipt for the money paid. I feel rather foolish that I was misled by Service Stop's aggressive marketing when I Googled Kwik Fit but that has been compounded by the shoddy and unprofessional treatment by the company. Will make sure next time I Google Kwik Fit I get the right site. I will avoid this company like the plague.

Absolutely dreadful. No customer service, slow, overpriced and had to find another garage to sort out the exhaust. Do not use.

I'm not one for leaving reviews but this 'company' are the biggest bunch of cowboys I've ever had the mispleasure of dealing with. I booked my car in for a simple service, £79. I received a call 3-4 hours after my car was collected with a report. Apparently my brake fluid was contaminated, so needed changing at a cost of £67+ vat, 2 ABS sensors were dead and needed changing,at a cost of £125 each+ vat, an engine temperature control sensor needed changing, can't remember the figure but it was crazy considering they cost £15!! The guy that called was clearly a youngster and had no knowledge of cars and was extremely insistent that the work must be carried out because it was dangerous.. after a few minutes of saying no he finally got the hint and sent me an email with the invoice with an additional £24 for'premium' oil which it certainly didn't need and I'm fairly confident they probably didn't even use. Regardless of that, I didn't consent for them to do so , as per their terms and conditions. A simple £79 service came back with a bill of over £500. I've since put my car into a proper garage locally to give it a once over and it transpires that NONE of the work they wanted to carry out was required. the sensors are fine, the brake fluid was changed February this year, and the service had not been completed. Same air filter, same oil filter, oil blacker than black and fluids not topped up. I've paid twice for a service that should have been done in the first place. One final note, every time I post a review, servicing stop have reported it as not genuine! These people are dangerous.. pay the extra few quid and get the work done properly.

Service seems cheap but they do not carry it out! Claimed work needed to be done that did not, the Cam Belt had only been replaced a few months ago but they said it needed to be done! Held car hostage for days. Broke several things on car, found another part broken last week! Really awful, would NEVER use again!

Booked a service and MOT and was quoted £128. On the actual day, a load of unnecessary work was added to the service and the actual bill was over £360, including £35 for a wiper blade which costs £7.99 retail. Avoid at all costs

the Online offer was very attractive so I booked a service for my car. I rang service stop to clerify what will be included in my service. I even confirmed later with the mechanic who came to collect my car. I get a phone phone call telling me that the service has been completed however a list of things that need looking etc Few of the things mentioned should have already been replaced but at this point they disagreed. They carried out a minimum service and charged me for a major service. The prices they quoted me for the other repairs were more than double. I wil never use them again and would not advise anyone to either. Their prices are attractive but the add ones will make up for it later. Good luck

I booked an appointment for Full service and MOT with Cam Belt change. Once I received the confirmation I wanted to confirm details with the garage before releasing my vehicle. I tried to contact Servicing Stop Customer Service via telephone on 4 occasions but they didn't answer the phone . I contacted them via email and asked them to provide me the garage details and contact number so that I could verify the work I had requested was to be carried out. Servicing Stop would not provide these details after 2 requests. I eventually gave them an ultimatum to either provide the details of the garage and provide telephone contact details or cancel my appointment. They chose to cancel the appt. Not good customer service at all. Why wouldn't they provide the garage details/contact number?

Booked my car (Vauxhall Insignia 2009) in for an MOT and I asked servicing to do further investigation regarding a missfire when accelerate, after investigation servicing called me and they found the problem behind intermittant missfire and they also recomended new ignition coil and set of spark plugs. I was happy because they found the problem and I gave them the ok to go ahead to fix it. After less than a month as I was driving from work to home suddenly the car started to shake very bad and no power at all (very hard to drive). It was Friday I couldn't do anything so I waited till Monday morning to take it to the closest garage. After half an hour they called me and said I have to replace coil pack and spark plugs. From my position it's clear what happend servicing didn't replace my coil and spark plugs (or possibly they did but not with a new set). I've contaced the custumer service and kindly asked for my money back since servicing stop haven't fix my car properly, I paid twice for the same thing. They told me to send back the replacement parts to do further inventigation and then emails back and forward for another 6 months which ended by them with not replying back at all. I will not be using your service and will warn other people of the problems I faced with this service.

Having had a full sevice & MOT recently I checked to see what was done on the service and almost everything on the 'SERVICE' was as required on the MOT very little in the way of a service other than oil & filter change also had to pay extra for a change of brake fluid and there is no receipt to say whay I paid and what for ie Brake fluid change, and since it was serviced I have had nothing but problems, I had to call out road side service and they tested and told me that it was the Intake Temp Sensor which I have now replaced cost £60 including discount, Happily it passed the MO.T. I won't be using them again, The only reason I did was because of the reduced price of the MOT.

Booked my car in for an MOT, when they rang me to inform me of what was required for my car to pass I asked for the tyre to be replaced with a like for like replacement. I had continental tyres on my car. When it was returned the tyre light was on my car saying the wheels hadn't been balanced and the replaced tyre was a cheap nasty tyre. Customer service was terrible. Would never use this company again. They offered me a refund but I even had to chase that as I didn't get it after the 5 days.

I booked my Toyota ago in for a full service and MOT at the initial cost of £91 . Obviously this is cheap so,I expected to,pay more at the end of the service . Within 1 hour of taking my car I received a telephone call from your representative who machine gunned at me a list of additional costs taking the service to £500 - I think the strategy is to make me to just say yes . However I challenged the representative to do through why it was needed and he could not say why it was needed as he calling from a call, centre and has no idea - unlike the garage who would need to justify the additional costs if you spoke to them first hand . This company hold you to ransom . I asked for some of the work to be done and have returned home to find the car with the MOT and nothing else detailing what they have completed on my car . So maybe nothing has and still charged me £400 for the priviledge of having my car for approx 3 hours. I will not be using your service and will warn other people of the issues I faced with this service . Obviously you will not post this review

Very poor experience. Sickie was moved out by a day with no information to me. I had taken the day off for this. Customer service and manager were unprofessional and rude to the complaint. Have written to head office and hope it's not the same standards all across the board

Don't be tempted by the cheap initial price, it will cost you much more in the long run! I booked my wife's car in for a service and MOT and was happy at the prospect of a cheap price and the convenience of it being picked up and returned home. Firstly, they turned up very late, 2 hours after they said they were setting off and it's only 15 miles away. Then I receive a call listing a number of jobs that are "needed" at hugely inflated prices - £45 for wiper blades... it's a Vauxhall not a Ferrari. I declined everything but the bare minimum to get it through it's MOT. A quick google confirmed that I was paying through the nose, even compared to other well know, chain garages. Do yourself a favour and stay away

Adding and adding parts to change that is not necessary, MOT refusal paper is different than what you get from servicing stop call. Pure cons, would not use them ever again.

This service is a rip off service. You are enticed in by a cheap MOT but it couldn't be further from the truth. If anything fails, you are charged double what the garage carrying out your work would charge. A full service in the eyes of Service Stop is a Oil and Air filter change. That is it. They are not clear with the pricing over phone, I was not given a price. Then I receive an invoice 3 times the price I had expected. Use local garages direct. They only use Service Stop because they are advertised out of the market.
