Terrible service from this company. Turned up late to colled - no one called to advise Turned up late to drop off - no one called to advise Did not reset service computer - Call centre, email and twitter support all ignored my calls for a call back to fix Did not provide service documentation - Call centre, email and twitter support all ignored my calls for a call back to fix Wrote to head office and sent recorded delivery - Ignored my letter Raised on Resolver - Answered but then started ignoring me again Next step is to look at a Section 75 claim so i can get my money and go get it serviced elsewhere. Dreadful.

Booked my service which was duly cancelled last minute as has happened to others. Re-booked for a suitable time to allow the missus to take the kid to school ... 4 hours later it was a no show and i called them and being told it was due to traffic jams (BTW, we're in Edinburgh, not London). My car was taken to a garage 20 miles away inspected; needed the (in)famous specialist oil (which seems to be a staple request from garages across SS network to raise some cash) and few minor cleansing (coolant, petrol, etc.) which was great for a 10 y.o. car. Was advised the car would be delivered in the afternoon, but at the back of 5 i got a call to say they were running late but would deliver today... fine, i thought! I got the car back at 22:40 with one advisory (small gearbox leakage) but overall great reviews from the garage. Take the car for a stroll few weeks later (80 mi) and then park it away; 2 months later i return to a pool of oil on the tarmac. Call SS and they book me into another garage (the one they used is no longer within their network) and that is where the problems came to light: The gearbox is corroded and leaking badly; the fact I drove the car meant that the steering rack is busted and there is also a leakage in the engine oil deposit....grand total= £4500 (and they don't do after market parts, only originals). Went back to SS to complaint and just got a response: there is nothing we can do as we don't know what happened to your car. Really? the clock should show how many miles i run and it should be easy to guess that if it is busted 80 mi after service; then service wasn't done properly. Also, the small leakage...wasn't that small as in 80 miles it cannot have become such a great problem .... Morale: This was the biggest mistake of my life! something I could have had fixed with £400 is now turned a £4K problem all on me to pay and fix! I had another Service+MOT booked for the small car and was thinking on putting through them the missus' car ... but that's not gonna happen now! Back to Quick Fit again; work is guaranteed and if there is a fault they'll fix it for you. No more of this cheapish shenanigans ... this is probably one of the few areas where you really get what you pay for ... in this case a cheap, bad service ...

I let Servicing Stop take my car for their 60% off Full service and MOT. My car now has a strange knocking sound and scratches around the door handle that weren't there before. DO NOT TRUST SERVICING STOP. The words 'job creation' come to mind.

DO NOT TRUST Servicing STOP. I had to phone trading standards and the police, before their operative would tell me where my car was. They over inflate their prices and use scare tactics to misrepresent the truth. I was quoted £116.81 inc VAT for a full service and MOT, I was told which garage would be doing the work. A man who showed no ID, took my car and I thought everything was fine. An hour later, I rather arrogant and rude man phoned me up and told me to pay almost £200's more, or they would put the wrong oil in my car which would almost certainly damage my car. I phoned up the garage and they hadn't heard of me, nor my car. The man who took my car was from a different garage. Service STOP's definition of a full service, is by no means a full service. They ripped me off much in the same way you would expect a rogue double glazing company to rip you off. With clever sales and marketing and no regard for good customer services. BUYER BEWARE. Use them at your own risk.

AVOID! TOTAL RIP OFF!! As with many others, I was attracted by the collection/delivery aspect and the very competitive rates on offer i.e £147 for service and mot. Passed MOT with no advisories. However, I was informed after additional service work was carried out without my agreement, the total was £425 - an increase of £278, which, of course you have to pay before they will release the vehicle. If you thought main dealer prices were high... Pollen filter - £63 ; Brake fluid - £78 ; Anti-freeze - £66 ; Oil surcharge - £29 Fuel treatment - £42 all ridiculously over-priced and probably not done! How can they hope to stay in business?

A good experience all round and very convenient. Would have given 5 stars if I had been told beforehand that a fuel treatment cost of £54 was going to be added to my service!

The garage arranged to collect the car from work refused to walk a few metres to park their own car in a free parking residential area. Nearly cost us a parking ticket as we left vehicle in 2 hour free parking spot so they could easily collect keys from work. I even added notes when making booking.

Never Again! ServicingStop quote a low price for a full service then present you with a large bill for additional items which they say aren't included such as oil change, coolant change and brake fluid change!!!! Would have been cheaper to go directly to Mercedes ! Will definitely not use them again!

Car booked in for a FULL service and charged up front which included a repair to a leaking oil sump. The oil sump repair was quoted as £524 + VAT and the full service went from the advertised £80.68 + VAT to £346 + VAT. Total cost £1045.39 including VAT. When my car was eventually returned it was apparent that the FULL service had not been carried out in any way. No new filters, wheel and brake inspection not carried out , antifreeze change and brake fluid change not carried out, pollen filter change not carried our... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE apart from the oil pan replacement which was twice and much as the NIssan Dealer would have charged,. I complained and was told my car would be booked into another garage and they would call me back with a date and time for collection and guess what ?.... NOTHING , no calls or emails despite me leaving several messages . The full service including parts can be done by the local NIssan Dealer at £252 including VAT. I have now had to contacted the police and my solicitor with regards their actions and the police are now investigating and this is tantamount to fraud and obtaining monies by deception. My solicitor if about to file a claim in the small claims court for the money lost and of course costs. PLEASE DON'T UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY.. THE QUALITY LEVEL IS ZERO AND THE COSTS ARE ASTRONOMICAL. Please learn from my mistake. I will probably never see my money again .

Although payment was made car haven't been returned to my wife back from full service. She works on the other side of Bristol so it will take her almost 2 hours to come back home by bus. Called stopservice but been told that there is nothing they can do. Garage decide to hold car overnight although we did everything right. Absolutely disgusting. Never again.

Paid over £500 for an mot and service with 2 new budget tyres (was told they only did midrange ones) £120 of which was to 'diagnose' and fix a broken wiper, and £100 of it to fix a bracket that held the exhaust on. Car was returned still with an oil leak from engine and 2 days later, was unable to drive to work because of whatever they did to my gearbox (was fine before they had it) but now cant get it in and out of gear and its making a funny noise. Also my dashboard display went completely off about 3-4 times since, that never happened once in the last year ive had the car. Somehow they made my car worse and I'm more out of pocket from not being able to get to work. Not sure why the guy on the phone was talking like it was himself doing the work when he is clearly 200 miles away from the so-called mechanics. They should be picking the car up tomorrow to take to a different garage and had better fix it free of charge. I'm now 4 days without a car because I tried to save money with these clowns.

I accidentally booked this company to service my car .I had googled Kwik Fit to book a service and heading the list of sites was one showing discounted service . Thinking this was a Kwik Fit offer I booked it and was surprised when the booking was confirmed but at a depot 24 miles away . I subsequently realised my error after my car had been returned and I looked again on google to see that Service Stop are paying a premium to top the list when people are looking for Kwik Fit. What did I think of the service? I will not comment on the work I paid for as I was not present when it was being done . However I will comment on two factors that annoyed me. The on board computer on my car has shown an average mpg of 46.6 over 8700 miles and this figure has not changed this year. When the car was returned the computer showed the mpg as 46.4. This means either the car consumed two gallons of petrol during the 42 miles pick up and return or one gallon of petrol was taken out. I was advised by phone of the status of the service and the work required . The items required were minor things such as pollen filter and an oil flush but nevertheless adding in excess of £200 to the bill. When the car was returned there was no detail of the additional work done let alone a breakdown of the cost and no receipt for the money paid. I feel rather foolish that I was misled by Service Stop's aggressive marketing when I Googled Kwik Fit but that has been compounded by the shoddy and unprofessional treatment by the company. Will make sure next time I Google Kwik Fit I get the right site. I will avoid this company like the plague.

Absolutely dreadful. No customer service, slow, overpriced and had to find another garage to sort out the exhaust. Do not use.

I'm not one for leaving reviews but this 'company' are the biggest bunch of cowboys I've ever had the mispleasure of dealing with. I booked my car in for a simple service, £79. I received a call 3-4 hours after my car was collected with a report. Apparently my brake fluid was contaminated, so needed changing at a cost of £67+ vat, 2 ABS sensors were dead and needed changing,at a cost of £125 each+ vat, an engine temperature control sensor needed changing, can't remember the figure but it was crazy considering they cost £15!! The guy that called was clearly a youngster and had no knowledge of cars and was extremely insistent that the work must be carried out because it was dangerous.. after a few minutes of saying no he finally got the hint and sent me an email with the invoice with an additional £24 for'premium' oil which it certainly didn't need and I'm fairly confident they probably didn't even use. Regardless of that, I didn't consent for them to do so , as per their terms and conditions. A simple £79 service came back with a bill of over £500. I've since put my car into a proper garage locally to give it a once over and it transpires that NONE of the work they wanted to carry out was required. the sensors are fine, the brake fluid was changed February this year, and the service had not been completed. Same air filter, same oil filter, oil blacker than black and fluids not topped up. I've paid twice for a service that should have been done in the first place. One final note, every time I post a review, servicing stop have reported it as not genuine! These people are dangerous.. pay the extra few quid and get the work done properly.
