A quoted £108 for full service and MOT inflated to 281! Overcharged for brake fluid and anti freeze. Nearly double than Halfords. Avoid!

Following a full service arrange through servicing stop, my car came back damaged. In addition to this, the garage signed off things as full functioning that had never work. I took this complaint to servicing stop but they ignored it and did nothing! Took the car for an MOT and they flagged the damage (oil leak) and said it was dangerous. After months of inaction, servicing stop agreed to fix the oil leak but charged me an additional £276 to fix the damage their service had caused. After the days, the same issue reoccurred and despite informing them a month ago and chasing via email and phone, they failed to respond. Customer service never seem to be available and when advised I will receive a call back, it never materialises. They state they respond in 2-3 business days but I have been waiting a month. Called their number and after waiting over an hour told their is no one who can held. They'll damage your car, take your money, ignore you with the hope you get bored and stop following up! Including the service and extra work required as a result, I am out of pocket by £600. I have be defrauded by these cowboys! My car has gone from functioning perfectly to being dangerous and a likely cause of an accident thanks to Servicing Stop. I am urging Trading Standards to take action against them and will be taking legal action if an accident is caused! No doubt they will reply to this review stating that they will escalate it and get it looked at but it is all lies! It's fake interest just like the fake work they carry out. REF: 606465

What a disaster... Picked up BMW x5 for full service..no phone call for payment until around 4 o'clock in afternoon, this was easter bank holiday weekend. Eventually paid and car was returned. After getting home from work started car to find thick smoke bellowing from exhaust. Due to easter contacted on Tuesday explained the smoke n was told they would contact garage n collect car Thursday. Was then told it was going on a low loader n would be Friday.Friday arrived was told between 8 n 10 they arrived 11.45.took car Service stop phoned around 5ish n explained turbo had gone on car n it would cost around £3000 to give a full diagnostic n repair. They were not willing to drive car back had to arrange for low loader again, although they drove it back the Thursday before with the smoke bellowing from exhaust. Checked over car n don't believe they have even done a service as oil is still thick n black. I deliberately marked oil n air filter n believe these haven't been touched. £212 later car not running n customer services not bothered.

They were brilliant. Takes the worry and hassle out of having car serviced and MOT. Garage kept me informed at all times and price was very good. I will definately be using them again.

Recently booked a full service for my BMW diesel. Delivered the car to the nominated local garage at 9am on the agreed date. They phoned around midday to discuss extra work to be carried out and we agreed what would actually be done. He phoned back later and advised me that I would have to collect the vehicle from the garage myself, that it would be ready in about "an hour to an hour and a half" and that he would send an email with payment instructions. The email arrived straight away and I paid immediately, going then to the garage I arrived about two hours after the phone call. Imagine my surprise to find the vehicle not only unready but that work had not even started on it. The garage stated it would not be ready before the end of the afternoon. I telephoned servicingstop to ask what was going on and was told the person dealing with this booking was busy and would definitely phone me back "within 15 to 20 minutes". Waiting for an hour and a half with no return contact I finally left the garage and returned home to continue working. I eventually got through to them again about mid afternoon and spoke with someone who agreed "to look into it". During this conversation I pointed out that having lost an afternoons work through a completely unnecessary journey to the garage I could now not return there that day before they closed and would have to go back for the vehicle the following day. The representative then stated he would notify the garage of this to save me the trouble of a further call. I was greatly surprised therefore to receive a phone call directly from the garage just after 5pm that day saying the car was ready and where was I. I explained to them and arranged to collect it the following morning. I had been led to expect from servicingstop a quick and straightforward servicing of the car arranged by them with a simple online single transaction. In the event the process was inordinately complex, involved me in having to make almost all the arrangements myself, characterised by very poor or non existent communication from them with a string of incorrect information and the loss of one full afternoon's and a part of the following mornings work. It is clear that had I not involved them at all and simply dealt directly with a local garage the whole process would have been much quicker, simpler and less stressful. Discussing my complaint with them on the phone produced an apology and an offer of a 10% discount on my next service. Since for obvious reasons I am at this point extremely unlikely to make use of their service again that offer was of no interest to me. They suggested I write to customer care to make my dissatisfaction known for their consideration, which I did, twice, and received no response whatever. Decide for yourself if you want to use them.

Booked a service last week for Wednesday 19th April. Received a call this morning (18th April) to say we have cancelled your service as we have no drivers........ and...... an alternative would be to take it to the garage myself but not til 24th April. No apology from customer services. I'll say no more. Booking ref: 633608

Can't give it zero otherwise I would have. Had to have brakes serviced as I was advised they were close to legal limit and the brake fluid was contaminated. I felt 'obliged' to have the work done. They charged me £62.75 more than the main dealer for 2 rear brake pads and brake fluid change. Refused to refund 'individual items' and would only price promise on the overall job. Still nearly £15 more than the dealer all in!!! Will also be reporting to trading standards because they refused to give me their labour or parts prices until after I'd put my vehicle in the garage and the work started. How could I in good conscience drive away with potentially faulty brakes. They had me over a barrel. Disgusted. What a rip off company. Be warned.

They took my car and said that i have had a full service, When my car went in i put some marks on the car to ensure they do it correctly and nothing was done. I then spoke to the garage they confirmed that nothing was done. I have now wriiten and spoke to BBC Watch dog and trading Standards.

I lost £140 on a full service where they only ticked 1 box in the service history. I got a phone call from them saying that repairs need to be carried out even though I had the MOT 1 month before. They wanted extra money for a special oil that it didn't need (every car needs special oil according to them). They also wanted extra money to replace the pollen filter that was meant to be covered by the £140. TOTAL RIP OFF.

Never dealt with a worse service. Was optimistic despite reading some horrendous reviews. DO NOT USE. Booking was easy, simple mot, due to be picked up between 10-11am, gone 12pm no one had arrived and I had missed a hospital appointment waiting so rang to chase, was told the driver had called in sick at 9.45am and no one would be coming, I had NO WORD FROM THEM STATING THIS, and despite a very rude woman on the phone saying 'we sent you an email' I had absolutely nothing, not in inbox, junk nothing. I now have to rebook with a garage that can take it today as I cannot get another day off and need my car for work. I used this service as I will struggle to drive my car to a garage following surgery on Wednesday, now I will have to do that anyway. What a let down of a service, terrible customer service and blatant lies. Price seems to good to be true because it is. Absolute scam, waste of time and an embarrassment of a company. Never left a review like this, but don't want anyone to be stuck like this

Don't make the mistake I made and go with Servicing Stop! They broke my electric car lock and don't want to accept responsibility, and there's nothing you can do about it! They ask for proof that it's them.. and what can you do! Make sure you pay a bit more and not end up in this situation.. It's cheap but that's about it

booked my car in for a full service yesterday and they came and collected fine at 8:30. Then they called me several times threw out the day telling me I have to have work done to brakes and I wouldn't be able to drive my car as would cause more damage and quoted me over £500 for doing them which I refused. The car was supposed to be returned to me between 4-6 which it was not and I was not contacted. I sent over an hour trying to get threw to someone on services tops number to the point where I was close to ringing the police. Finally I get threw to someone at 19:30 for them to tell me I will get my car back at 20:00 2 hours late! I contacted a local garage in my area who quoted me £160 for the same work and took it there today where they told me that there is nothing wrong with my brakes they just needed adjusting which should have been included in my full service setting me back an extra £50! I am extremely unhappy with the whole experience will never use again.

very poor service! be careful from them! they give you price on the website, during the day they gone call and increase their price 100%.. unprofessional, I asked them to give me specs of the tyre! they said sorry we have to get quotation.!!! do not trust them

What was meant to be a £134 service turned out to be more than double that. After the mechanic collected my car I got a phone call from servicing stop I needed brakes (I replaced my brakes 10mths ago)? I needed new pollen filters which they were charging me £77 you buy them for £ 17. I needed anti freeze flush which I payed for but that's should normally be included in a full annual service. Not happy at All. Stay clear don't get sucked in like I did it will hurt your pocket

Please avoid this company at all costs! They try and sell you unnecessary work when you car is in for a service! They also damage your car and don't inform you about it! You have to chase them for answers then they try and imply they are doing you the favour by fixing the damage THEY were responsible for! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Total rip off. The garage was probably a good garage but the company is a scam, putting so much extra on top of the basic service and MOT costs as to make an £80 bill up to £546! Charges for aligning lights, which garages usually do free with an MOT, cost up to £50! I am going to have a word with the AA tomorrow and also enquire with Trading Standards so that this company is looked into and not allowed to trade with such bad practices. Sheil Mitchell, Oldham

Worst car servicing experience I've ever had!! The work at the garage has left a grating noise and it seems like the garage isn't interested in sorting it out. Twice I've made arrangements with Servicing Stop for the car to go back in and both times I've been contacted to be advised that the garage can't honour the arrangements. In total I've probably spent 2-3 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved and my wife has had a wasted day off work for a collection that the garage can't be bothered to make. Whatever car you drive I recommend you steer well clear of Servicing Stop!

Work was done on time but service book not stamped. Garage says come to us and stamp it. Service stop says post to us and we will stamp it. Make sure you hand over the service book to the pick up to avoid disappointments.
