“Everyone in the shop is invariably polite and I have no complaints on that score over the 4 years I have been using Scrivens. My only concern is that it is always a different optician for each appointment. I know professionally this should not make any difference but inevitably each one has a slightly different approach and is reliant on notes from their previous colleague. We are starting from scratch every time.”

“The optician took a lot of trouble to test my sight, listen to my concerns and check the condition of my eyes and even more so with my mentally incapacitated husband. Quick preparation of new specs so all good.”

“I bought a hearing from them, two years on I asked to have another hearing test but was being told the appointment was full for June still haven’t heard when I can have one.i rang to be told they don’t a person at the moment to do hearing test but don’t know when they will have one,I’m having a lot of difficulty in hearing even with the hearing aid, not very good service is it?”

“I was promised delivery prior to my holiday, unfortunately you were unable to keep your promise. When I collected the glasses, three weeks later I was told the order had been lost in the system! I will have to think hard about returning to you.”
