“On both occasions when I have visited your Penzance branch, I have received exemplary treatment, not least from originally engaging with reception to make an appointment, but indeed throughout the entire clinical process. that is, from undergoing eye test to selection of spectacles. Janet's eye tests are most thorough, her demeanour is so utterly calm and reassuring thereby encouraging utmost confidence in the service received. Mark has helped in my selection of sun glasses and spectacles in the most caring, personal way so that, not only am I thrilled with the outcome, I have since received genuine compliments from friends concerning their enhancement of me. How about that for a confidence boost to an elderly woman. Added to all this,because he knew I would be holidaying on the Isles of Scilly for several weeks, Mark posted my chosen spectacles. They arrived yesterday. Wow! and Wow! Thank you Janet, Mark and all the team at Penzance for treatment second to none. Customer champions you undoubtedly are, I value you all highly & shall continue to recommend you to my friends and acquaintances. I already know of one friend who, on my recommendation, has transferred her affiliation from a nearby local optician to your branch. Yours truly, Juliet Nicholas-Hope”

“Visited the Ely shop today what lovely ladies my sunglasses were falling of my face and they tighten them and made them fit. No charge. Very lovely staff Thankyou.x”

“The experience from arriving to leaving was amazing. The initial assessment, the test and selection of frames had a personal touch which is so important especially when you need a second opinion on whether or not frame shape and colour is suitable. I can't praise them highly enough the optician, branch manager and team are a credit to the business and I will certainly be returning.”

“Visiting Weymouth for the week and a small screw fell out of the lens holder and lens fell out of my sunglasses. Popped in to see if they could repair them and was very happy when the young lady(sorry didn't get her name), came across and took them off me to work her magic. Even gave them a good clean (by the gentleman, sorry didn't get his name) Very happy with the service I got and not have to worry about waiting until I got home tomorrow in this very warm and sunny week.”

“My experience of Scrivens Hearing Care over the last 17 months has been extremely positive. I have had several hearing issues during this time and the standard of care provided by their audiologist at Herne Bay and by their Customer Care Team has been faultless. “Friendly, caring and competent . Staff were concerned that my eyes were carefully considered for new glasses and when they fond that my existing ones were still the best there was no pressure to sell me anything. No time pressure.”

“The staff treated as important to them & as I am in pain most of the time they went out of their way to find the most comfortable chair they had for me & to put me at ease. That, on top of the excellent presentation & performance of the product, meant a lot.”

“Have been a customer for a long time at the New Brighton Branch, everyone is Super Friendly and helpful from making appointments to choosing glasses, even doing mini repairs, the Optician and Hearing expert are excellent and go through everything with you. The prices are competitive and the service is top notch. They are are happy to help with anything and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“I have been delighted with the friendly and very helpful customer service offered to me by the new management at Southgate Scrivens. All the staff were extremely welcoming and kind and made me feel extremely comfortable going through the process of my eye test and chosing my frames. There is a very good selection of frames available at a range of reasonable prices and I received my prescription glasses very speedily. I am extremely satisfied with my new glasses and very grateful for the helpful advice I was provided with by the staff in choosing the right frames and lenses for me. I highly recommend Scrivens of Southgate for their excellent service. Many thanks indeed to all the staff and I look forward to my next visit.”

“I have been a customer of my local Scrivens for a few years now and have glasses and private hearing aids with them. I moved from my local store by my house to the New Brighton store just down the road from there and the service is excellent, I cannot express enough how much better the care and advice and helpfulness is from the manager and his colleague, absolutely fantastic glad I went just a little further down the road for this.”

“I have had hearing aids before and never got on with them as I kept got back to try to get all my problems sorted out they did not seem to listen to my concerns so after some years with out using them I gave Scrivens a try well what difference everything was explained to me the test was very thorough.when the hearing aids were fitted the technician was very good set them up perfectly spent time to get it right not like the place I had gone before. The staff were all very pleasant and you made to feel at ease and can't say enough good things about the youg lady technical that did my test and fitting was brilliant so for me the weston super mare store staff were great as they have got my ears sorted I think I will get my eyes done there from now on if the same professionalism is as good as the hearing side of business”

“I have received excellent help from Scrivens. I had had a sore eye for several days. Finally I contacted Scrivens and they saw me the same day. Caroline removed the object from my eye swiftly and expertly. I am very grateful.”

“Took my father-in-law John to Scrivens in Chapel en le Frith: Helen Bamforth looked after us like family! The whole process of a hearing test for John couldn’t have been less painful. Matt ran the through the options etc and John was won over; the new hearing aids are an instant improvement over his aging NHS options! John will soon be celebrating his 90th listening to all his family and friends, and back at his favourite pub 👍❤️”

“I would like to thank you Scrivens for making my appointment with the most wonderful young lady on Wednesday the 4th Sept at Parkview Bromsgrove for my check up and replacement hearing aids she was most charming and efficient in helping and showing me how to set up and use my new aids with Bluetooth. Please forgive me for forgetting your name but a big thank you from me.🤩🤩🤩”

“I have recently have been to your branch in East Street Bridport. I was looked after by 2 ladies Tracy and Shirley . They really looked after me and put me at ease. They dealt with any problems I raised kindly and efficiently.”

“Dear Newark branch, 🌈 LGBTQIA+ Friendly 🏳️‍⚧️ Thank you for having the four of us in for eye tests and three new pairs of glasses. We'd also had a good experience with hearing tests beforehand. Special praise and relief for being Trans-friendly towards my spouse, buying their first glasses since starting the transition journey. You were all so kind and enthusiastic to them. Now that we know the Newark branch is Trans-friendly we will keep coming as safety and kindness is sadly not guaranteed. Thank you very much. Their new purple / aubergine glasses are really pretty. Unfortunately we can't assume that all branches are so friendly and safe, but we want to applaud staff in Newark for being kind and safe.”
